We went for the Vancouver eat out festival. Food was good, timing between the dishes were somewhat longer but still good.

Worst take out. I am a vegetarian, ordered a garden burger of course meat patty with bacon what a treat!

Don’t forget the side of raw truffle fries completely uncooked.

We called back to complain all they offered was to remake the order and go all the way there to pick it up, not to mention they hung up 3 times before finally solving my issue.

Do yourself a favour, save the money and never get take out from this location of cactus club.

Absolutely love this Cactus! My last server Laila was a complete gem. She’s so bubbly and enthusiastic! Food was delish and drinks are always good! Also, Always a shout out to Kylie the bartender! I have known her for years from Cactus and that girl is always smiling! Thank you

The food was great. But the server had too big of a section to provide adequate service. She was really nice but it’s very obvious she is either inexperienced or could not handle the workload. Hopefully there is some additional training here or support for the staff because the food was amazing, but service could have been more on par with the pricing.

The food was good but the utensils were poorly washed. There was visible finger prints on the plate that was served to me-I saw a thumb print on the side on my white plate. There was also red lipstick marks left behind on a white mug. We notified the waitress and she dismissed the concern and shrugged it off. She looked up at my friends and I to see if we were wearing lipstick. None of us were wearing makeup or lipstick, she did not even apologize because she believed we left that stain on the cup. If you zoom into the picture posted, you can see that it is dirty and not properly washed. This should never happen, let alone during a pandemic. After being dismissed by the waitress when raising the concern about the red lipstick on the mug, I did not feel safe enough to share my concerns with the thumb and finger prints on my plate. My hope is that this restaurant will pay closer attention to the cleanliness of their cutlery and utensils.

Delectable green curry. I thought Earls made this good, but Cactus is probably a little better with the citrus tone.
I suggest always making reservations for this location as the parking and restaurant gets a lot of traffic.

You get what you pay for in most cases and Cactus Club doesn't disappoint. One pays for professional, attractive, friendly staff. From the front door to the washrooms not once is there any question that raises is not a fast food experience. So it should be no surprise when the bill comes it will be twice to three times more than most neighborhood pubs. That being said service 10/10, food 8/10, overall 8/10.

Ridiculous location i have ordered takeout numerous times and 90% of the time missing ordered and paid for items. Ordered 10 items 4 out of 10 items were missing in the takeout order. This location is managed by sheeps avoid go to south point instead. This location is in a illiterate area of surrey and the staff is also illiterate.

In the last year or so they have taken the Jumbayla bowl off their menu. That was the go to place for good jumbalya.saw lots of good reviews on it. I call once a month or so to see if by chance it is back and no. I have read reviews even from people in the states that go to cactus club when they are in town and always have the jumbalya.please consider bringing it back!

I went to Cactus on Wednesday night with my family. My Server Jemma was very friendly and had great suggestions! I had the creole chicken, delicious! 10/10

Horrible service compared to Vancouver locations. Items made wrong rude staff they have proved this location is in a poor area of town and staff is dumb.

Just got back from Cactus Club on a Thanksgiving Sunday. Went out for dinner with my wife and 3 kids. I had the creole chicken, the older 2 kids (18 & 21) had the Cajun chicken sandwich, our 8 year old had the quesadilla, and my wife had the steak frites.
Everything went well until the entrees came out. My chicken was on point, but my wife's steak and fries were both cold. My daughter had the dirty fries which were also cold.
We immediately notified our server, Desiree, and ageimmediately set about getting the steak and the dirty fries replaced.
The items in question were quickly remade and the manager on duty came and apologized profusely.
They were kind enough to comp the steak and gave us a complimentary dessert.
We didn't complain really, realizing it was a long weekend and perhaps staffing shortages played a part in the errors.
In all everything was handled promptly and professionally. Can't ask for more.

Was delicious! Our server was great and informative. He described another rice bowl with tofu that he liked! I'll be back to try it.

Got served by Sara on Oct 02. She was so kind, service was prompt. Food was delicious. Overall a perfect visit, 10/10 would recommend!

It's a great restaurants! The food is really good and they have a good selection of wines.

It's easily reachable from the highway and there is parking available.

The restaurants is really nice inside!

Came in for a girls night and had a blast. Great food and even better service! Our server ario was super interactive and really funny.

Friendly staff. Went on Tuesday night, it was still super busy. I had to wait for 15 minutes. So reservations recommended.

Food, dessert was too good. But costly for two it came around 87$ not including the tips.i think i would come rarely here.

Worst service ever received. I am a hospitality professional and if a consumer is paying for that service he/she should get it

My experience at cactus was very disappointing. First off the attitude of the server I had did not seem welcoming, in fact, she did not even introduce her name. She took my drink and food order only to never come back and check how the food was tasting or if we needed anything else. I was thinking of ordering a dessert, but with the lack of acknowledgment it took to long so I was ready to leave and settle for the bill. I find it funny how her attitude switched up towards the end and she became much more friendly and interactive when it was time for payment, but that same energy was not present throughout my whole experience… that speaks a lot for itself. The food was great but service was satisfactory and needs improvement.

The Cajun chicken sandwich was amazing and happy hour is the best time to come by.the staff is always super nice and it's a great place to enjoy with your friends

Our server Sylvia definitely made our experience a positive one! She was super outgoing, attentive and overall just really great to deal with.

Food were raw and missing some part of order menu and they brought the menu with out noticing price of it after ur meal they will surprise you by their expensive rates lol example one glass pop 4$

Worst cactus experience ever. Ordered some take out as it's our 25th wedding anniversary today. As we were not sure about restrictions, we did not plan a night out but ordered some food instead: Hunter chicken, blackened creole chicken and a grilled dijon salmon. You would think that Cactus would stand by its grandeur. What a flop of a dinner! The salmon was tasteless, the hunter chicken never had any mushrooms with it and the creole chicken was overcooked and dry! Cactus, you spoiled our day!

I originally had a poor experience at this location. Since then, Cactus reached out to me and provided me another opportunity to dine in where I had a way better experience. I have had Salmon a few times here and each time it has been the same, very delicious. We also had cheesecake which was scrumptious.

Great experience tonight! Kaylee and Tosha were delightful and extremely helpful! Our server Sean was so friendly and helpful also. The food was awesome! 10/10 guest experience, definitely will come again!

The team here has gone above and beyond! Thanks to Christina and josh for making sure our door dash order arrived! Even after hours! It wasn’t picked up by door dash so the manager drove it all the way to our place near surrey central! Thanks guys.

Decent happy hour food. But since Covid- happy hour is only from 3-5 pm and from 9-10 for alcohol. They do last call at 930pm. I would recommend their Tuna stack and their Shrimp Scampini.

Service was great. Appetizers and food came out quite promptly after our order was placed. Everything was done to perfection including the steaks. Quite impressed overall and would highly recommend this cactus club.

Had some great take out from here last night.

Considering it was a 15 min drive from the restaurant to our house, the food was still awesome. Had the mini chicken sliders and these were still crispy when we got home.

We get the butternut squash ravioli with prawns all the time and is definitely one thing to get here as well. The squash center of the ravioli is perfect and the prawn adds nice tenderness to it.

Calamari with the white sauce was also really good.

Only thing is they forgot thr utensils we asked for. Probably just ask before you take your take out make sure they have it.

Excellent! From the service, to the food, to the covid precautions in place. All were excellent. The food is always top-notch at Cactus Club, it tasted extra delicious tonight, maybe because we haven't dined out in many months! The Teriyaki Chicken rice bowl has been my go-to for 10+ years.my all time favorite! The calamari is cooked and seasoned perfectly.yummm! Hubby had the Millionaires steak, which he devoured quickly, I got to try one of his prawns.oh my goodness, delicious!

Ordered online and picked up, the happy hour menu still being available for pick up orders is great. Safe protocols in place as well as pick ups are outside the restaurant so there’s not much contact.

The servers here are just wonderful, always take care of me and my family! I have never had a bad experience here they treat us with kindness and always bring food fresh and hot!

Regardless of reservations, getting seated still takes time. Other then that, fantastic food, extremely helpful staff and stuff

Really organized. Booked online.didn't wait long to get to our table. Clear directions to help with social distancing and mitigate Covid-19. Staff really friendly. Food was great.

Poor service from hostess at the door. Put me on wait list and when I ask 1/2 hour later I was told I had 3 guest in front of me. Waited outside for another 1/2 with others walking into restaurant from the cold while I waited under a heater outside. No eye contact from hostess Kathlyn. Asked again how many guest I front she assumed I was a different guest and gave me a incorrect name. She continued to ask other guests to wait inside and I was still in the cold only when we asked her name was my reservation ready. By then I left an got dinner at other local restaurant with wonderful service. Do not go without a reservation as you will be treated poorly.

Just visited the place and was our first time at this location. The food was great and was also served very good by Jasmine, but the reason for the review are the security guys.

They were simply pathetic, we literally ordered the dessert at 10: 45 and got it after few minutes and EXACTLY at 11: 01 one of the security guys came to us and ordered us to leave. It would have been a totally different scenario if he would have just requested us, but his exact words were "you'll have to leave coz I have to lock the doors". Not to mention that we were still having our dessert.

We understand that everybody has the urge to go home early but that does'nt mean u have to throw people out of the restaurant especially when you're working in Cactus. We've been to other restaurants as well but never had such an experience.

However, after we left, an employee came out and addressed the issue which was very nice and appreciated but still just wanted to leave a review.

I was not very happy in my last visit. They need to practice covid protocols much better. I know that they are trying their best but they should have used a fresh cloth for table cleaning. Other than that the food was amazing.

Worth it to go for happy hour after 9pm for good eats and drinks! I enjoyed my experience here with my peers.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday they were really sweet to bring a birthday treat!

I ordered modern chicken bowl & it was disgusting. The chicken was literally smells like hell. Don't ever order anything from this cafe.i wont recommend.

So disappointed to place a 100 dollar order for take out. Told them we will pick up 6: 30. Order was placed at 5: 20.5 minutes later called back to make a change and they said good was 75 percent ready and that it cannot be changed. They planned on letting it sit for another hour before we were going to pick it up. Had to cancel the order. They said we could call back in an hour and try to place it again, but now they aren't taking any more pick up orders.
I worked as a sous chef for many years. Nothing on that order had a bill time longer than 15 minutes in the kitchen. There is no way it should have been cooked and left to sit for 1 hour.
I'm disappointed that they were going to serve food that sits at the pass for over and hour. And that now we wont be getting any dinner at all from there it seems. Very poor communication obviously from the hostess station to the kitchen if you cannot communicate when they should be firing a bill through.

This restaurant is nice as any other Cactus Club should be. The choice of menu is standard across the franchise though but location, interior design, food quality, response time is relatively good. One star is removed for the prices, which I believe do not completely match the food and size of the servings you get.

Jen is an amazing waitress. She's so bubbly and hospitable. Would totally recommend coming to Cactus, make sure Jen is your server.

We will be back at this Cactus Club! Smaller restaurant with amazing service. The Cactus Club never fails, the food is always great whether it’s during happy hour or just regular lunch or dinner times. Charissa was our server and gave us the best service ever! We will absolutely be back to this location.

Enough and more parking space. Too loud for me. Dark and long wait. Poor service. The girls are too busy walking around. No one to ask if we want refills. No one ensured that tbere were enough cutlery. We asked for the missing ones.just a fork came after 8 min. No napkins. No knives or spoons. The managers came to our help got a different server who knew her job.
The food on the other hand was out of the world. The steak. Salmon. Cocktail were all perfect. The mashed potatoes need a special mention never tasted anything this good before. Would love to go here again
