Cactus Club Cafe West Broadway

I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. The food was incredible, the service was great and I will absolutely recommend it to whoever wants to visit Vancouver

Awesome food and service with real people! Made a birthday celebration very special. Recommend reservations and enjoy yourself immensely.

Our visit was great with only one exception. Our table was directly in line with the front door and every time guests came in, we caught a big cold draft. We asked our server if she had any other tables in her section, as we didn’t want to take our business away from her, but unfortunately there wasn’t one. Minor downside to our visit. As for the drinks and food… EXCELLENT. All came in a very timely manner, food was hot and drinks were cold. We asked her suggestion for the dessert and she suggested the 6 layer chocolate slice. Wow, just wow. My wife and I couldn’t even finish it. If you discount the drafty table position, our visit was excellent.

Overall fanatic experience coming into this location, Anna is one of my regular servers and she always delivers exceptional service!

She knows exactly what I order every time I come in and occasionally suggests new meals that she thinks I would enjoy, which never miss! Always enjoy talking to her.

This location has progressively gone downhill over the past few years to a point where I’ll drive the extra few minutes to the Ash st.location

Just had a wonderful happy hour at this location and was very impressed! Attentive and friendly service by Joseph! We had the steak frites, blackened creole chicken, ravioli, cheeseburger & sushi-all so delicious and of a generous portion size! Lots of reasonably priced drinks, too!

My partner ordered the chicken pesto quesadilla w/o the chicken. He got a flour tortilla with cheese sitting on some shredded corn chips with a side of dipping sauce. No pesto, no cranberries as per the menu description. The meal did not meet expectations.

My Cajun chicken sandwich had paper-thin chicken. I should at least have an option to upside.

I understand mistakes happen, and service does change depending on the night, but as a server, the service here tonight was not good, it was not busy for a Sunday night, some staff were just standing around talking, no greeting at the door and then after 5 minutes of being walked past by with dirty looks, the host comes and came off angry at us for coming. I understand people have bad days or make mistakes but in this industry you gotta fake it till you make it, and my table was scared to ask for any more things, as easy as a water refill or more ketchup because anytime we would ask for anything they made us feel like a burden to them. Beautiful atmosphere and great food aswell️

I paid around $30 for the vegan med bowl and a side of tofu. The portion was very very small and didn't even fill up most of the takeout container. I suppose the food tasted okay. Nothing special. It certainly looked nothing like the photo in their menu! I was left hungry. I will not be going here ever again.

Came here last night w my friends, food and service at the bar was great. I'm not too happy about the service at the front when I first walked in.

This restaurant wouldn’t even try to seat our party. The hostess was so rude we left and were immediately seated at Earls across the street. Do yourself a favour and go to a different location or just visit Earls.

Our teenagers have grown a little so its been a while since my wife and I ate at Cactus Club. Had to leave a review for your server Simran at West Broadway n Granville.elegant, smart, prompt.her service made our meal and finished a a perfect date night for us - thanks!

The space and service is great, the food is not bad.but the quality of the products are not the best. So a bit pricey for the food quality you get. I recommend the place for drinks and food not for a culinary experience.

I have been a long time loyal customer of cactus club but will not be returning to this location again. 3 times in a row now it’s been the worst and slowest service. Non existent service, food takes forever (even when it’s not busy) and so not up to cactus standards. Mushy rice, brown old avocado and so on (Bleh) I’ve only experienced it at this location. So very sad.

Ordered on DoorDash tonight. I don’t know if the Cactus Clubs in Ontario that I’m used to have just set the bar super high but my meal was way disappointing. Sushi was not fresh at all (black avacado) and falling apart. Looked like it had been just tossed in the container. Lettuce wraps tasted okay but the sauce lids weren’t closed properly so unfortunately everything was covered in sauce.

Nice Waitress, so so Loved your Lava Cake. There were four of us, and we all loved what we'd ordered. We also had a wonderful young lady to serve us. Kudos

As always the food was great, the staff was friendly and even though it was a busy Friday evening the food came pretty quickly.

Cactus club happy hour menu is pretty good, includes many options for different types of food and drinks. I like this branch interior design and vibe. Staff are nice too.
But to all of us, waiting time for food preparation was really long (more than half an hour) and my burger was a little bit too salty.
