Nice people working there. Our room was not very clean though. We shared this with the staff who assured us they would take our information, share it with staff and work towards improvements.

You won't die, it's safe. It's gross. The sheets had stains in them, one of the blankets had a weird crusty patch with something brown on it, I wasn't about to investigate further. I had to reach under a bed and I don't think it's ever been cleaned. Seeds, bottle caps, a solid layer of dust. It's an older inn so there is mold in the bathroom.
The bathroom door hits the toilet.
The people running it seem nice and while I didn't use the pool it did look clean.

My school booked this motel for a 12-day field trip in the surrounding area. The owners were very nice and quickly got our large group into our rooms fairly quickly. The rooms are accessed via physical room keys, unlike the more modern card system. Although the rooms are certainly not modern, they are clean and smell good. The bathroom did have some nicer updates however, which was nice to see. The showerhead was mediocre but it was livable. The beds were comfortable to me. Other amenities included 2 desks, a microwave, a mini-fridge and a nice coatrack. Wifi was pretty fast. I made most of my meals in the hotel room, and I had ample space to do meal prep. The biggest downside of this hotel is that there is no housekeeping while you stay - you have to take out your trash and keep the room clean yourself. For me, that wasn't a big issue, but if you are busy all day keep that in mind. Amenities outside the rooms include a public lounge with a TV and board games. There was an outdoor pool (which was closed until the summer) and bbq's. The location was perfect - a short walk to all of the shops and downtown Oliver.

All in all, while it wasn't fancy, it was clean, had good amenities and was in the perfect location for Oliver. Biggest complaint - lack of room service.

My room was small, and although this is no grand hotel, the interior had been tastefully updated. The gas fireplace was a nice touch, though I didn't need it because my stay was in summer. Air conditioner was effective, and not too loud. Room was really clean, and the people running the place were very nice. Near all the amenities I needed. Pool could use a bit of an update, but the wooden fence around it was new and looked nice. I would stay here again.

I will never book with this motel again. Months back, my father reserved me a room for two nights starting on Sept 7 and was stated the industry standard of 48 hours cancelation notice. On Sept 2, he went to cancel the reservation due to me contracting Covid. They were then going to CHARGE HIM THE WHOLE STAY! He fought them on that but ended up being charged one night until I could prove my illness. What kind of rip off joint are you running here? !? !

Stayed because of the location for the wine festival. The new manager was great. I think the motel needs some work.and maybe better house keeping.our freezer was full of ice and somebody's chicken.didnt like that you had to take your own garbage and take your dirty towels and lining your self. No housekeeping at all.coffee machine was not clean.but all in all was just there to sleep.

We were in town for a wedding. Check-in was quick, room was clean, beds are comfy, staff is great. Love the BBQ area. Walking distance to everything. Thank you to this staff for putting up with us. Will definitely stay again. Heat the pool!

I booked a room today for today. And due to no fault of my owe I had to cancel it. Which I did with in 2 hrs or less from when I booked.
After calling a few times to talk to someone in the hotel with no answer I called the booking agency to request a refund of the booking due to last min cancelation.
The hotel refused to give any of the room charge back.
I will not be staying at this hotel again. Poor customer service.

Great place to stay. Owner was lovely very welcoming. Recommended great places to eat. Will definitely stay again if passing through in the future.

Beware! Booked a room with them friday 2 weeks ago at approximately 2pm. I was not able to make it to Oliver due to extremely heavy traffic. I had told them that I was going to be arriving late and they assured me that it would be no problem unless I arrived before midnight. I called to cancel my reservation a few hours later (6pm) and nobody has replied back to me. Disappointed, as they were very friendly with me on the phone when I booked the room. Nobody has returned my 5 phone calls. Unfortunately, that earns 0 stars from me. I had to put 1 just to post this, but it's actually a zero.

Cutest little suite. Love it. Mattress needs to be replaced.other than that the couple looking after the place are wonderful to deal with. We be back

We booked a room from them for Aug. 1. Imagine my surprise when a woman got back to us saying only 2 nights and up were required and they canceled our reservation. A couple of weeks later I received my CCard bill saying we were charged $220 + for room. I emailed them and they replied they charged the money for a reservation. I explained that I did not cancel and the woman clerk canceled. After a few emails back to them they finally reimbursed my money saying they were short staffed yada yada yada! Plus there was no one answering phones there and can only book online! The $220+ we were charged was much more than the online price. Don’t stay here!

Great staff. This was our second time staying at this motel. We will go back. The room was clean.

We were billed for less than 30 days cancellation. However we wanted to cancel 3 weeks prior to our booking due to a major forest fire, terrible air quality and the mayor of Oliver asking tourists to leave rooms for evacuees. When I pointed out that I found a web page that stated a 48 hours cancellation policy, I was told that was the previous owner’s policy! Very unfair as they listed no cancellation policy on their web site.

They don't deserve even 1 star, negative is what I would give them. I work in customer service and it's not service what this owner provides. Will never recommend this to anyone not even to my enemies.

Stayed here just one night and was very impressed, the cleanliness was top star! The included breakfast was great including fresh orchard fruit and lovely sweet buns. The pool was a great addition and outdoor dining tables for take away food. Would highly recommend!

My bf and I stayed one night while passing through Oliver and it was exactly what we needed. Clean room, size was okay, heater working, comfy bed! The place is run by a family, they were very lovely.:) good price for what we got/expected. Would stay again!

Just so so. Free breakfast but it's a muffin. Affordable but it's a basic motel. There's a pool but it's cringey and small. I dunno. You get what you pay for

I liked that the rooms were very clean and the lady at the front desk was speedy and friendly. I expected it to be kinda loud since it was beside an airport and a highway, but it was suprisingly quiet, which was nice. The breakfast was also nice and simple as well. I'd say that you should add optional bathtub mats so people won't slip in the tub.

Amazing our sixtys reunion takes over the motel in June they and the other guests are great highly recomend

Clean quite rooms and the continental breakfast included fresh Okanagan fruit and fresh baking.

If you want a hassle free accommodation, this is the place. Less expensive and has close proximity to the lake and wineries. Decent rooms with a kitchenette. Hosts are very nice and accommodating. Don’t mind coming back here on my next Okanagan trip.

We have been coming here the last couple of years. This last year we found the service quite poor from years past.

Nice place rooms need more plugs breakfast opens way to late but yet you don't get to use it they still charge for it 7 am is way to late for breakfast when most people leave before that 6 am is the proper time for a breakfastroom to open start office closes way to early if your not checked in by 930 to bad office is closed most of the front desk is good but they do have a couple that presume before you check in and make you feel uncomfortable it would be a 3 star or even a 4 if they started breakfast earlier and had plugs by the bedside

Great value for the money. Very affordable place to stay if you're looking for a room. I've stayed here twice while visiting relatives in town and have had a good experience each time. Room was clean and well kept and the staff was friendly.

Good for the price. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Very happy with our stay.

READ BEFORE BOOKING!

We booked a room for 3 nights. After First night room service shoved our blankets in a droor and didn’t change any cups, garbage or anything. The only room service we got was them redoing our sheets. After second night I lined up the 5 cups priovided for us on the fridge so hopefully they would see and change this time. They did, however the replacement cups were very dirty. When I took these cups to front desk to ask for new ones, an older Asian gentlemen running the front counter told me he already replaced 2 broken cups in our room. I informed him we didn’t break any cups. He didn’t believe me and started talking down on me. I again repeated the fact that we didn’t break anything to which he smirked at me and told me we did. At this point I got upset, told him to never smirk or speak down on me. This was all with another customer behind me. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a motel. Told him infront of the other customer he should be embarrassed, told him to keep his cups and enjoy my review. There are at least 3 other motels within a block or two of this place. For proper customer service and proper house keeping I would suggest trying somewhere else. I will NEVER return
