Such a great park for kids to climb and play. There are swings and a zipline. Beautiful views. Washrooms available (closes at 9 pm in the summertime).

Really Wonderful Dinosaur park for many ages. Octopus, Sea Serpent, Whale, Swings, ships everything plus a beautiful beach. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This park is good if you want to experience both worlds from the play area to the beach front! Whoever keep this place clean is doing a massively good job. The swings, the slides, the zip line, younger kids area, boat, even the washroom! One thing I am not a big fan of is the octopus slide. Ian not saying it’s bad but, I think since it’s cement, maybe a bit dangerous? I mean, I grew up with those, I am sure and still came out okay.:) Beach side is good too! But I think it needs more space, it will be crowded when sun is up and wind isn’t blowing much, IMO. Overall, my kid had fun together with he cousins and family enjoyed it.

Cadboro Gyro Park is a huge open green space near the waterfront and is amazing for leisurely day activities.

Great place to go for a picnic! Pepper's foods grocery store is right around the corner for all your picnic-ing needs. My friend and I spent all morning walking up and down the beach exploring before settling down to eat. Can't wait to come back again soon!

So much Victoria history here. Spend an afternoon. You will be glad you did. Great place to take kids.

Awesome park for kids and adults alike. There's a huge play ground area with sea monsters and a giant octopus. There's also a large grassy area to play in. And to top it off a beach only steps away. The beach has excellent sitting logs and soft white sand. 10/10 enjoyable. Also, the parking lot gets busy but it's quite large so there's usually a spot opening up just as you're arriving if you're lucky. Restrooms are also on site for when you gotta go.

A favourite spot for walking or just relaxing. Our group did an enjoyable walk to 10 Mile Point, back to the Park and then a final loop through Mystic Vale. Perfect!

Beautiful park and beach. It has everything that a family can enjoy. I can spend a whole day in that park. Love that they also have zipline.

This park is pure magic in the summer and spring. I hope these kiddos realize how lucky they are to play in a playground beside the ocean with beautiful views of the mountains and marina. This park is an absolute must see for anyone visiting Victoria with children. The zip line is also super fun. I can’t believe the octopus and other animals are from 1958! They are in great shape.

Awesome walk to the beach. Was low tide with lots of people on the sand. A couple went swimming. Still to cold for me …

Cadboro Gyro Park is a great place to visit in Victoria, British Columbia. It has a beautiful beach with soft sand and a section for dogs and another section for kids to play without dogs. The playground is really fun and boasts a kiddie zip line. There are also picnic tables and a large grassy area with washrooms.  It’s a great family park at the beach with free parking lot

Great place to take kids, better to go in the evenings without kids and hit the zipping with friends, and have friends push you down it fast.

One of my favourite beaches for many reasons. It is a great place for family, by yourself or a couple of friends. You can park in the parking lot (toilets here as well) by the playground which the kids love - Zip line for the smaller kids (under 12) and that is so popular. Lots to play on, places for picnics and field for running. Right attached is the beach which stretches a long ways both directions. If you are looking at the water then head to the far left along to the end for a quieter environment. This area of the beach gets the sun late in the day and wonderful for picnic dinners on a blanket as the sun lowers itself. Lots of dogs running by on this end which is entertaining but sometimes you will need to direct them away if you have food. Very relaxing and you get a different vibe depending on where you want to situate yourself. Definitely where the locals go so join in. Buses arrive nearby. Close to pub, restaurant and grocery stores a couple blocks away. A good visit here.

This place is great for everyone! Kids, parents and people young and old. The park is set right beside the ocean with a zipline, swings, sea monster and pirate ship. The beach has a beautiful view, and good sand for building sand castles, or just relaxing with a towel on. It's dog friendly so long as they are on a leash, there's a restroom right by the parking area and a nice green area for those to play soccer or Frisbee on. The only thing to make note of is because it's right by the ocean, a cool wind sometimes picks up. Today was warm, but we still needed to wear long sleeves because of the cool wind. It would be great for a hot day Overall, this is one of my favourite parks in Victoria.
