I wanted to review this bakery first in respects to the woman who helped me order my cake for my son’s baptism - Eleanor. She was very kind and attentive. Such a pleasure to deal with her. She made my experience very positive. I will receive my cake tomorrow and will do another review. Thank you Eleanor!

Everyone enjoyed the Black Forest Cake, it was moist flavorful and not too sweet! I ordered online and pick up was smooth. We shall return! Thanks Cadeaux!

I buy cake from Cadeaux and Cadeaux only because cake usually means tons of sugar and fluff at most bakeries, not Cadeaux, they know balance, they know how to make those flavors pop and shine.
Their carrot carrot is not too sweet, I like that. You get raisins, walnuts, and cream cheese frosting, all that. The carrot cake does not seem as rich as recipes I have made at home, but that does not take away from the experience. Overall, you could eat an entire slice plus the frosting, feel satisfied, and not feel like you have become prediabetic or gorged yourself.
I tend to like things plain, and skip fudge sauces, ice cream.etc.but I have gained the habit of eating the carrot cake with cold quince compote. Food that is Too Good!

Dare I say, without the frosting.you could have this for breakfast. Don't tell mom.

I bought a croissant and it was good. It maintained some life and tenderness the day after I bought it; better than most croissants.

Cadeaux used to have superb chocolate treats, which I now miss (see photo below - 2019). Cadeaux has now switched to biodegradable forks.

Logistics.
I normally have to parallel park so be prepared to do so just in case.
They provide a white box with a stamped Cadeaux logo for your cake slices. Gives it that in-house artisan feel.

Great Cakes! I order here very often for my parties. Good variety of choices, fast customer service and excellent quality.

We ordered our wedding cake from Cadeaux Bakery. The flavour we chose was Tropical Cloud, and it was perfect for our beach wedding. Blair was very easy to work with, and made the whole process very smooth. The cake was absolutely delicious and very beautiful! We would highly recommend Cadeaux Bakery for your special events.

I recently ordered three Rubyberry round cakes from Cadeaux for a wedding celebration and couldn't have found a better bakery for the occasion. Myself and all the guests were raving about how delicious the cake was, it was clear they used the best, high quality ingredients!

Not only were the cakes amazing, but they were extremely accommodating when it came to arranging the delivery to a nearby restaurant where the celebration was held.

I've already planned another order with them for another occasion. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won't regret it!

Great vibe, with a young crew baking away. Gotta love that. Good coffee and excellent baked goods, as you'd expect. Worth the visit.

I ordered the carrot cake for my moms birthday and was absolutely blown away by how good it was. It was so incredibly light and moist and had the right amount of spice to it. Definitely the best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Everyone loved it!

A bit out of the way bakery but so worth the trek there. Beautiful croissants. One of the best in town for sure.

This is a great little bakery! Everything is delicious, and I particularly love the chocolate covered cheesecake. They recently made a cake for my wedding, and it was beautiful! Everyone loved it! Blair was very quick to respond and very friendly. I would highly recommend this bakery.

Very delicious well made cakes. We had the carrot cake, double chocolate caramel crunch and the Paris brest. All were very good: the cake was moist, flavourful, and perfectly sweetened. Can definitely tell the time and heart they put into making the cakes.
They are a bit far from where we are but we will defintiely go back again and again.

“WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR CAKES FROM? ” This was the #1 question I was asked after my wedding. Not “where did you get your dress from? ”, haha! I had guests texting me to find out the name of the bakery, and anytime I saw a friend in person, it was the most pressing question on their mind. It’s actually been a year since my wedding and my good friend said to me just yesterday, “Those cakes are in my dreams”. Instead of a traditional cake tower, I’d opted for five 10” birthday cakes to spell out my husband’s name because we got married on his birthday. Each cake had its own design and working on this with Blair from Cadeaux was a such a pleasure. The cakes looked, and tasted out of this world! Since my wedding, myself and several other family members have order more cakes from them because yes, they’re that good and a big bonus is how great Blair and the Cadeaux team are.

Amazing wedding cake. I ordered our wedding cake from this bakery and it was amazing, the flowers were delivered from a local florist of our choice and they did the rest. The flavor and decoration were above our expectations.

I love their selection of very delicious croissants. And the cakes here were so tasty and they were something you would never forget. Each bite is rich in flavor and the prices were reasonable. The cookies were phenomenal as well and their place was lovely. I even get a takeout for my family.

It was my mother's 80th birthday. My guests LOVED the cake! They were all shocked that I drove all the way to Gastown (from White Rock) to pick it up and when the ate it declared it was worth it.

It was a breeze communicating with the team for a custom birthday cake.
From start to the end, the process was seamless.
Everyone absolutely loved the cake, it was a hit and one of the bests we tried so far in Vancouver.

I also happened to try a fruit danish when I picked up the cake and it was to die for.

Blair and team worked with me to get a cake for a milestone birthday. Blair was always prompt to respond to emails. The cake was fantastic and better than I imagined. They were able to recreate the design image I provided. And went out of their way to get the cake I wanted. The service was exceptional and the cake was delicious and flavorful.

We just had a cake testing for our wedding cake. It’s such a fun experience making your own cake and it’s delicious! I highly recommend it.
Dealing with Blair was also an incredible experience: He is so professional, quick to answer all my questions, and very patient. Can’t wait to taste our wedding cake when the day comes. Thank you!

Only good things to say! Not a usual stop for me, discovered it when researching the offerings for this year's hot chocolate festival. As soon as I saw the fig, ginger, pear hot chocolate listed, I started dreaming about it and made the trek across town. So glad I did. It was superb. I hope they use that exact flavor combo in future desserts. My daughter and I so tried one of their chocolate croissants, which was fresh and flaky, exactly as it should be. The pastry case was loaded with beautiful confections. I'd love to go back and try them all. They even had individual Lunar New Year sugar cookies that were a gorgeous red and gold.

The shop staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. The bakery is very clean and there is ample pay parking out front. A cute little oasis perfect for a quick afternoon treat.

This is one of my top bakery’s I’ve ever tried hands down! Everything I have had here is DELICIOUS and done with a high level of care and excellence. Their artisanal craftsmanship is amazing and it comes through in every bite and detail! You’ve got a loyal customer for life!

The absolute best cake in Vancouver! Every kind I have tried is incredible. The way the flavours come together is joyous. Perfectly dense, moist, sweet and flavourful but not /too/ sweet or heavy. Incredible cake!

I've only been here during hot chocolate festival but it is GOOD. Their pastries always look so delectable. The only downside for Cadeaux bakery is the location. For someone transitting like me, you have to walk through the rough part of town a bit.

A cake shop tucked away a bit outside of Gas Town.
I love the passion fruit meringue tart.
It's fun to watch the pastry chefs making pastries behind the counter.
It's a wonderful place with a heartwarming atmosphere.

Expecting a nice decor (flowers all over the cake) like the ombre however, when i saw my cake ordered for dec. Holiday season it was just a plain cake. No decor nor ddcation at all. So its not a good one for gifting. Disappointing

First of all, I love their cakes especially London Fog. I ordered online and picked it up. However, they don’t provide a paper bag and I was left with holding it all the way to Langley via commute. I wish they could consider customers who commute all the way to Vancouver.

Delicious bakery!
I have only tried the pastries from here, but will be ordering cakes in the future. They have made-to-order sheet cakes for office functions too.

Ordered a sheet cake for a milestone birthday and it was absolutely perfect. We selected the London Fog flavor, finished in buttercream with their Monet finish, and it blew everyone away. There is some customization allowed as well so you should be able to get the right colors to match your event theme. To properly enjoy the cake remember to take it out of the refrigerator 2 hours prior to serving.

Was a birthday gift It was simply everything a beautiful food experience should be; that one could dream of from a top notch French bakery. I have lived and worked with some absolutely Stellar Bakers but have never had anything quite so dreamy and delicious. The London Fog cake was a bit of buttery, light and creamy work of art! Excellent croissants! Had the Peach Sunset (~$7) and the Almond (~$5). Both were amazing and worth it.

I ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday on September 3 and got it delivered to Surrey. They made the whole process very easy. Took card payment on the phone and delivered on time. The cake we ordered was the ruby cake. It was so good! I highly recommend that you try this bakery. Customer service is great as well. They also gave us a few candles on the house which made me like the bakery ever more!

Now this is a business on smooth wheels.my favourite part of the cake I ordered was the frosting- not overly sweet means it's super chocolatey.like a moth to a flame I will be returning for more.

I tried this bakery last year for the first time because of their great reviews. Since then I became a fan. Great customer service and their cakes are mindblowing. Now my family order all our cakes for any occasion from Cadeaux Bakery. This is my favorite place.

I bought a cheese cake and ice cream sandwich.it was soo delicious. It's a little pricey but so worth it. I couldn't finish my ice cream sandwich it was so filling. The cheese cake.i seriously haven't tasted better than theirs. I highly recommend this

Fantastic pastries. The frozen croissants that you bake at home are amazing. Nothing better than a buttery and flakey croissant coming out of the oven on the weekend!

We ordered our wedding cake here, and their service was nothing short of exceptional. Our chosen cake was double leveled with one being chocolate-hazelnut and the other London fog. Both cakes were so amazing!

Anecdotally, my father who was not supposed get close to eat as he is immuno-suppressed couldn't resist to help himself to some cake after listening to the rest of the party moan with pleasure.

The cake was not only good tasting, it was also quite good looking. Our chosen model was the monet design. Needless to say it looked 100% like the website pictures.

Their service was also incredible and their location is so clean!

I ordered the Lemon Meringue cake for my wife's birthday. The ordering process was seamless and customer service excellent. The cake looked exactly like the picture online and the cake tastes amazing! Very fresh with even layers of filling. We cant stop commenting on how tall a cake it is, and value for money. Well done to all the staff at Cadeaux Bakery!

Ohmygawd so goood! We got the London Fog cake and everyone who ate it kept thinking about it the next day. Not overly sweet, moist, not too dense perfect cake. I can't wait to try all of their flavors.

This bakery makes absolutely delicious and amazing cakes. The best I’ve had in my entire life. I got the London fog one for $40. However I paid an extra $20 for an image of a dog which resulted in a small piece of cut out fondant with a bit of royal icing and everything else drawn on with edible paint. Super lazy and botched decor job. 100% ripped off and not worth it. I was expecting something that I couldn’t do myself at home because I was paying a highly rated bakery to do it. They definitely did not put time and care into the added decorations. I would be very wary of doing any customizations here.

Edit: the manager reached out and there was just a misunderstanding on the instructions the decorator received and they offered a refund. They told me the cake would never have been sent out like that - the manager was away on the weekend. In the end they made things right so I’m happy with how they handled their customer service. Props to them for genuinely caring.

The London fog cake slice is to die for; just the perfect amount of London fog flavour comes through. Also made with fresh cream and not icing/fondant layers and the cake is moist.

Went here for the hot chocolate festival and it was great. Their flavours were very unique and their other bakery items looked very good as well.

I had the best dark chocolate croissant and hot chocolate I have ever had. Was flavourful and not too sweet.

First time I order the Black Tie Cake for a Christmas Party at my Church and it was unbelievable - made with love and the taste second to none- Beats Thierry or Thomas Haas - can't wait to but more - Great Job!

Cadeaux Bakery is one of my go-to bakeries. This is the place to call if you need to order a large cake for an event, birthday or party. Eleanor and her team have their cakes down to a T) Other popular items: croissants (try their PB and jelly croissant on weekends), scones, and lemon tarts. In the summer, they make their own ice cream and if it’s in season, their cherry ice cream is the best!

Their “new year, new me” drink had to be one of the most delicious hot chocolates I’ve had. You just gotta go try this drink out!

I could smell and taste the spices but still taste the white chocolate. The drink was super smooth and easy to drink. For those who aren’t a big fan of super sweet chocolate, def recommend this one. It was almost like a pumpkin spice latte but with white chocolate! The portion was huge too.

The other coconut drink was also super delicious. Every single sip was filled with chocolate first then coconut. I loved the layers of the drink.

Wow, this place is great! Came here for hot chocolate fest and we loved their flavours, i had some of their pasteries and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly, we stayed past the closing time (didn't realize how late it was) and noone was pushy about us leaving. When we realized the time we apologized and promptly left, the staff were still friendly!

Cadeaux bakery and while the cakes where beautiful and delicious what impressed me most was the team and service behind them.

Blair has great customer service skills and cares to make it right.

Ran out of the dark chocolate for the festival and the white citronelle is not good: (Should have more stock, it is only 3pm

Their baked goods and treats are some of the best in the city, the service is always stellar and they're entirely local and ethical - what more is there? ! I go here constantly for treats for my team at work and for myself. Highly recommended.
