Caffe Artigiano

Artigiano Cafe in North Vancouver is my ultimate go-to spot! I frequent this cozy haven twice a week for its inviting atmosphere and, of course, the exceptional coffee. Saba, the standout barista, radiates kindness and consistently brews the perfect cup. Her recommendation to try their Cortado was spot-on—it's now a favorite! Whether it's the comforting ambiance or the delightful service, Artigiano Cafe always delivers. If you visit, don't miss the Cortado!

I met a friend for coffee and a slice of Banana Bread at Artigiano at The Shipyards and we had a lovely visit. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching people walk and cycle by.

I am very disappointed by the service and cleanliness of this place. I understand that it's a busy spot, but I do not think that the place is organized at all. It has a lot of potential, but I wasn't pleased with my experience there.

Too many times in the last few months the order was not delivered as expected. For example, for here means porcelain cup and yet the order comes in paper cup. This is because almost every 2 weeks a new employee is trained.not sure why so frequently. The food if asked for heated, comes back way too hot and once almost burned - the wrap was so dry that it broked in bread crumbs. In terms of quality in afternoon is does not feel fresh anymore (don't know about breakfast, I go there weekly in the afternoon). They seemed to have improved the cappuccino quality, no more too hot and the cream is well done.

3 start for the uncomfortable chair. Not a place you can comfortably work for longer than 30min.

My coffee was great. Seemed like a pretty hectic day and the staff were trying their best. It was really hot inside (on a sunny July day) and the team looked like they were melting but still powering through steaming drinks with a smile even tho some customers were rather rude. Will go back

Nice place, gorgeous view. Service is a little slow and disorganized, although friendly. They made my coffee so hot it badly burned my tongue even though I waited a couple minutes to have the first sip.

Never go there again. Over $5 for almond croissant which doesn’t even taste like croissant, probably 2 days old! I never had such a disgusting pastry!

Great coffee, great beans, good pastries, super nice staff, amazing views! If you go behind the cafe there are stairs to climb on top of it revealing some great views of Downtown Vancouver!

Nice and clean. I visit for hot chocolate but it was not real hot chocolate. It was cocoa powder with water. Very disappointed regarding normal quality of Artigiano cafe. Better to have real hot chocolate even though it is not main drink.

I like that it is one of the coffee shops that opens later but because of that, it tends to be crowded and does not have much seating. There are no washrooms for customers either I believe. When I went to go for the hot chocolate festival menu, the barista told me that it wasn’t very good, particularly compared to the other coffee shops downtown haha, a bit off putting to me (I appreciate the honesty?) … I enjoyed it though but I haven’t tried other coffee shops for the festival yet to compare I guess?

Visited the Quay yesterday and stopped in for a coffee. I had the Strawberry Lemonade & it was super yummy. My husband said his Mocha was so-so & the scone was so dry it was inedible, I actually threw it out after one bite. Really a cute little coffee shop, so it was disappointing.

Can’t believe the wait time here. I had to wait 20 mins for a cup of drink. You should hire more staffs, I don’t think anyone would appreciate the long wait for a simple coffee.

Not a fan of their espresso based drinks or their coffee. Their croissants were delicious and the view was gorgeous

A super location of this coffee shop. When you have a mug of coffee in the patio, you have the stunning view of Downtown Vancouver too!
The staff are friendly, fast work and helpful even there are a long line up.
The coffee, tea and baked goods are good too.

The location is amazing, the beverages are really good (best hot chocolate), the menu is quite limited but it is one of my favourite spots in the shipyards

Disappointed I stood in line for almost 10 minutes, gave them my order and they told me it would take 15 minutes to make my drink because they had a lot of orders to make.if you see customers standing in line for a long time it seems like common sense to advise them of the long wait for drinks, perhaps not everyone has half an hour to wait around for a latte. Very inconsiderate.

I would never go again. Try getting a Hot Chocolate and you will notice that the price they charge is always at least $2 more than the price on the menu. When you ask why the difference, they make you feel really embarrassed and still no concrete reason why the overcharge. I will post the picture with the receipt next time.

And it's neither hot nor chocolaty. If not the location, I don't think they would get as many customers here.

P.s. I have been to a few other Artigiano cafes and I know they are good!

My personal fav coffee shop in Vancouver.
Food is excellent, coffee is always perfect, and the staff are great fun.

Great location to grab a coffee. Amazing views of Vancouver. On top of the cafe is more seating and they have a staking rink in behind. The service is good and the location is nice. Lots of great outdoor seating.

Pretty bad cup of drip coffee. Overextracted, burnt/bitter roast with about a spoonful of grounds in the cup. My wife waited about 15 minutes for a cup of hot chocolate. It looked like they took forever because one employee was meticulously sanitizing and prepping the whipped cream during the lunch rush while two others were- I wish I was kidding-taking selfies in the back. No wonder they ask you to tip BEFORE you get your drink.tldr: $10.73 for a medium hot chocolate, small unfiltered coffee, and a 15 minute wait.

Because they can’t handle? Telling us that it’s a 20 minutes wait for every customers in line? That lady who works last night is Rude and mad! Why? You tired? What about customers who wants to unwind and first time to come in your store! Supposed to be a first time customer! And then what!? Go away because you cannot handle it? Where’s your manners? ! You don’t even have a empathy for customers… big wide eyes… loud voice… no customer service attitude… if you are a manager…. I feel sorry for the owner… you should get reprimanded… You Are Unacceptable member of your business….

I am waiting over 25 min after making my order and still nothing.staff was rude when asked what is going on.

Ordered a couple of drinks and they came up hot & quick! Had super friendly service when we went on a Saturday morning. The location is awesome, and the ambiance is on point. A great spot to catch up with friends, indoors or on the patio (you can even watch the winter rink!). This spot is very nice and bright and also perfect for having a nice view of the water.

Fantastic harbourside location with delicious pastries, hot drinks, and lots of cozy seating options inside and outside.

This Cafe should have 0 stars for quality. Probably the worst espresso I've ever had. Not sure if their machine is just extremely dirty or they have no idea how to operate it. Either way it was very disappointing

Their coffee is good. I wish they kept the old sandwiches and wraps they used to have ages ago.

Careless customer service. Coffee is good, buy personnel are so confused and careless.always make mistake. I ask large coffee but they give small. I ask latte they give normal.today I really got mad they mad mistake aging.and I meet my friend she also said this coffee shop always make mistake.please pay attention what customer wants.

The latte itself wasn’t really special but it was not bad either. However, the view and ambience was excellent from their outdoor patio, especially the unshaded portion of the patio in the summer on a sunny day where you are enjoying the sunshine with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The price was below what I was expecting given their location and generous portion sizes.
