Caffe Artigiano

Tried a number of cafes along main but this was the only one where I could find seating. Lots of seating, many near outlets, and good free wifi. Toilet didn’t have any toilet paper but other than that it was great!

Waited at a red light for nearly 3 minutes watching a customer try to open the front door with crutches. The man was obviously severely crippled and not one of the workers offered assistance? One of the wildest, heartless things ive ever seen in this neighborhood.had to comment.

Very lovely coffee! It was a nice surprise after getting it by chance. Their mushroom wrap was also filling and tasty

While I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means, I do appreciate a coffee shop with a welcoming environment where I can get work done. The inside of Caffe Artigiano boasts a modern design that reminds me of Seattle. Additionally, the service is phenomenal. I did have the chance to try their mocha, orange and cranberry scone, blueberry parfait, and green tea - all which were great. Parking is a bit difficult to find, but maybe that is just because I'm not too acquainted with Vancouver. I truly wish we had coffee shops this nice back in Silicon Valley.

4/5/23 Edit: I've spent an entire week doing work exclusively at this coffee shop during my recent trip. I've probably had everything on the menu by now and it is all very good. The service is always great here. Street parking is conveniently located next to Caffe Artigiano on E 24th Ave.

Nice place and food, nice people but the food was not heated correctly and had ice in some areas

Their peanut butter hot chocolate is amazing, and they are taking part in this year's hot chocolate festival! I adore how much peanut butter there is in this, and the texture the chocolate gives it is great.

The coffee shops south of King Edward were all busy today, full of people that looked like they've been there forever, working on their laptops and no fresh drinks on the table. That means we get to try Artigiano. Not sure when this place expanded, but they now have three retail units which gives them a restaurant-size sitting area. What caught my eyes was a pile-high apple pie that is apparently from Pie Hole. So, this place carries frozen pies from Pie Hole to go. They also sell pies by the slice. Naturally, I couldn't resist and ordered a piece of apple pie. Our espresso drinks were well made enough. Unlike the other coffee shops south of King Edward, this place is not quite. The din of conversation and general buzz was quite high. My pie was disappointing, it tasted like it was heated in a micro wave and so the crust ended up being quite soggy – where as, the Pie Hole that we were familiar with would have heated the pie in a real oven. We didn't really hang around too long because of the level of noise and also the fact that the tables were quite close together. I guess holiday Mondays is not a good time to visit South Main coffee shops! Five stars for the coffee drinks, 1 star for how the pie was treated, 1 star for general ambience.

This place has gone downhill since last year. The new food is not as good as it used to be. The young folks who work there are too lax. It take two of them with their heads down to make one coffee. The atmosphere has changed. I keep coming to give it another chance to redeem themselves from the last visit but I'm done. Bring back the skinny guy who used to manage it. It felt fun and lively when he was here.
Edit: ONE YEAR LATER and I gave them another try. Asked for my latte to be warm not hot. As she read my order back she missed the 'warm' part so I repeated it. It did not show on the screen so I repeated it again.
When I was waiting for my coffee in the pick up area I asked the barista for it to be warm. She did not understand so clearly it was not communicated.
"Extra hot? " "No, warm. " She looked at me puzzled. "Not hot, warm. Not hot at all just warm. " "Extra hot? " "No. Warm. "
English was not her first language but how do you work at a cafe where food gets warmed up without know the word 'warm'? Maybe I should have said kids temperature but if she didn't understand warm, would she understand kids temperature?
The latte ended up lukewarm and the carrot cake dense but dry.
The guy working needed a comb or brush run through his hair too. Just a mess.

Been here twice now and the coffee/food is mediocre at best. Nice staff so would be unfair to give 1 star.

Lots of seatings available indoor and some outdoor too. The seats are comfortable and place is clean.

Here’s what I love about this cafe: their price is very reasonable, food quality is amazing, they have fast/reliable Wi-Fi, there are usually many tables.
The service is fast and efficient, and the bathrooms are always clean! Definitely recommend.

A mocha so fresh the first sip left my taste buds dancing with excitement… again again I hear them beg, take another sip like a drug the mocha ran through my veins.craving another taste and compelled by the smooth creamy texture I obeyed their commands. I take one more sip and then another and another until my boisterous mouth had gulped down every last ounce.

Got the ham, egg, and roast potato breakfast wrap with a Happy Planet smoothie drink. Not a bad meal while waiting for laundry across the street honestly, will probably be bringing my partner here in the future.

I went here a couple times with friends in the past, and I've always had an enjoyable time!

The atmosphere of the place is very welcoming. The rustic wooden tables with the warm lightning is very inviting, and I love the red accent colours of the place! There's a lot of room in here too; the tables are reasonably spread apart, and the ceiling fairly high, which feel very refreshing.

The baristas at the front have also been nice whenever I've visited.

As for the drinks, I've mainly only gotten the teas, so I can really only comment on those. They're very delicious one-in-a-while treats, as this place is fairly pricey.

I've had a few of their loose leaf teas, which come in a small tea pot with a cup if you dine in! The flavours are fairly standard as far as teas go (ie, peppermint, english breakfast, etc,), but I still enjoyed them nonetheless.

As for their London fog tea latte, it's delicious! I recommend getting that if you don't mind paying a little more for it. It was wonderful and wasn't overly sweet (something that I find with other place's London fogs). Definitely recommend trying this out at least once.

Overall, Caffe Artigiano is a wonderful spot to hang out with some friends for an afternoon tea. I've been here a handful of times before, and I really enjoy the rustic and roomy atmosphere of the place. The teas are delicious, and I love the presentation of them. If you're willing to pay a bit more, I'd recommend trying out one of their London fog tea lattes!

One of my favorite cafes to kick back and do work. Coffee is amazing either hot or cold. Never had a bad experience getting anything from this place. The cafe is clean all the time and the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. They will help you get the perfect order, if need be.

Great place to hangout! Good selections of pastries, great service, clean space. The same price range as other famous coffee joints.

The flat white I ordered last time was good so I came back here to order again after few weeks and it was not the same anymore. The one I got today was watery and no latte art, seems like the bartender was not experienced. The coffee here is not consistent! Hope they can improve about that!

Caffe artigiano he's our local coffee spot. We go there several times a week when we were walking our dog to get some copies to go. I highly recommended although I can't say I'm a coffee shop guy but this one works for us. They pay attention. When I came in with my to-go cup she happened to be behind the counter and announced that that would be the large not the gigantic thereby saving me a few pennies which I appreciate it. It's a place to go with your laptop it's spectacular because the room is large and there's outdoor seating if the weather is accommodative. So take my review for what it's worth but I like it.

One of the best in the city, large, spacious, clean. The staff work hard and are very friendly and attentive.

Tried the hot chocolate, both the flavours. Loved the orange explosion while the berry bomb didn’t really mix well with milk! Cafe is clean following covid protocols and seating available to sit inside for a sip.

There are multiple caffe artigiano in Vancouver but this location has much more space to sit in. Their coffee is great and offers a lot of selections.

Visited for hot chocolate festival.

First I have to mention the customer service. There was a gentleman in front of us who was having difficulties with remembering to keep his mask on (he left it at his table when he came up to order). The gentleman behind the counter was gracious & kind & offered to bring the customer his order directly to his table to ensure he wasn't wandering around the cafe without his mask on. He handled the situation wonderfully. I wish I got his name so I could give him a shout out.

On to the items we we ordered:

Mellow Berry Bomb - Juicy, tart flavours of strawberry meet the fresh fruitiness of smooth ruby chocolate. This was my first time having a hot chocolate bomb (which seems to be all the rage on IG) so I was really excited to try this one & it did not disappoint. It had a mild fruity flavour. Very different than what you would expect from a hot chocolate, but nonetheless it was delicious.

Incendiary Orange Explosion - Succulent flavours of orange meet creamy milk chocolate, infused with smoke. This one was completely opposite to the Berry one as it had a bold smoky flavour, with mild orange notes. The marshmallow was beautifully torched which gave it a nice texture. This one was more of what you would expect from a hot chocolate.

Overall this is a great little cafe, the hot chocolates were very reasonably priced & they take COVID-19 seriously. The tables are well spaced & they have cards on the table that let you know when the table has been cleaned & when it's waiting to be cleaned. As I mentioned before the customer service is top notch.

Nothing beats the service of the staff in this coffee shop. Special kudos to Sol who is always exceptional in her service whenever she sees me. I drive from another area to come to Main Street for their coffee but the coffee and the staff make the drive worth it.

People rave about this place but I don't get it. It's kind of expensive and there are no cozy chairs just tables and chairs.
The staff is very friendly though and it is always spotlessly clean. It just lacks any real atmosphere.

Excellent chai, the best I had in town so far. Excellent service as well and very clean tables and restaurant. I'd give it 5 stars if the food options were more appetizing and diverse.

My favorite coffee shop on Main Street! I visit almost daily and every time the place is clean, well-maintained, with friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I understand why some people come in for the day to work on their laptops but it would be nice if these customers limited their time based on how busy it can get.

Usually frequent this coffee shop and it’s a great one in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Great drip coffee and would occasionally treat myself to the Spanish Latte here. I love how environmentally friendly they aim to be - there is a cup discount too.
Super spacious environment and lots of natural lighting. Not too loud either. Overall, great coffee shop.

I came in earlier today and got a London fog and it was hands down the worst one I've ever had. It was just a tea bag with hot water and there was hardly any milk. Not to mention not a drop of vanilla, they don't know what they're doing here. It was way to hot to drink so I didn't even get to taste it until I was half way to work.

Everything tastes like water and is even more overpriced than Starbucks. Go to Aperture across the street instead

The lady who works here has an attitude, very disrespectful to customers. Food isn't bad, but please improve your service.

This place is fantastic, it has all of the atmosphere of a high end cafe with a beverage list to match. Easily the best latte in the city.

The great coffee is a given at Artigiano, but this location offers great space large tables and relatively easy to find parking. Last but not least, great service.

I spilled 3/4 of a grand coffee in the washroom (disadvantages of going to a coffee shop alone) and not only did the barista there, Hugo, tell me not to worry about it, he was more concerned with getting me another coffee, free of charge. Cost of a coffee is not a whole lot, but his attitude and genuine response was worth a lot.

Big cafe with lots of places to sit alone or with a group. Not too busy. You'll often see people studying or chatting. Free wifi. Staff are friendly.

I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I've liked everything I've tried. Small selection of food which is also very good.

I get a lot of work done when I come here to write. Truly I cannot offer higher praise for any cafe!

That said, the vegetarian breakfast wrap (is it really vegetarian? I don’t know? Seems like eggs are not vegetarian?) is my favorite meal so far, and I recommend the iced skim milk latte in a “for here” glass.

They do a variant on the frappe/Frappuccino style beverages but you have to ask for them specifically. Quite tasty!

Food is good and coffee is good if it’s not hot. When I order lattes I frequently have to send them back because they are burning hot.

Place was big and clean but the coffee was NOT good. Was watery and expensive for the quality. The almond milk was warm

Good seating area. The coffee and pastries are pretty average. If you need a quick stop and are in the area, you won’t go wrong with this place.

I really love the atmosphere and the general vibe here. I love to get here early and do some work. The coffee is good, the WiFi is great and the staff are super friendly. Plus if you get in early they might have some awesome music playing.
