I am from Parksville and I had been delaying purchasing an AWD as I was feeling pressured by salesmen and this was my first vehicle purchase without my husband. Very scary and nerve racking for me. And then I went to Campbell River. Noel made the purchase easy and relaxing. He explained everything to me completely. This was a great experience. I highly recommend Noel from Campbell River Honda!

My car broke down 10 minutes out of town last week. When I arrived at the local Honda dealership and explained my situation the staff and manager helped me find a tow truck and even set up a rental car for me. This took the stress and pressure off of me. They even had a shuttle driver take me to the Budget Car rental office. This service is above and beyond what I was expecting! This is just one of the many reasons I love Honda!

A fellow named Rex Kaiwi became the new manager at Honda approximately one year ago. I have had a few bad experiences over the years at Campbell River Honda, and did not take my car there for servicing. I recently had a bad experience there again, and was approached by Rex and he was not aware of that. He came to me and righted a big wrong and I was very impressed with this young man. I have recently taken my car back to Honda for servicing thanks to Rex. I have nothing but good things to say about the turnaround at Campbell River Honda and hopefully everyone else will restore their faith in them. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot recommend the associates at CR Honda enough! After a previously horrible experience with a member who is no longer there, I decided to give Rex a call to see if there was something that could be done with my situation. He happily accepted the challenge and kept me up to date for the duration of the process. The entire experience was a breeze and I am so grateful for all he did to get me back into a Volkswagen. Big thanks to Mitch as well for reaching out in the first place and in turn getting this ball rolling in the right direction! Not only did they go above and beyond but they also ensured I was in a safe vehicle during the snow storm while we waited for my VW to be ready. I cannot thank these two enough for all the extra effort that was put forth to make this happen. All in all I highly recommend considering CR Honda for your next vehicle purchase. They understand the importance of good business practice in a small community and for that I am truly grateful.

Note: will edit/delete this review to best inform public dependant if CR Honda decides to take responsibility

Went in for a quote to fix this gap that appeared on wheel arches, was told the wheel arches being replaced would correct issue (not only that, but they charge you like $80 just for an estimate), after that I decide to replace them to fix the issue. After they were replaced, the gap still exists (see pics)!

They said they had no way of knowing the issue was caused by some other issue, except I specifically paid them to identify the issue, and they now-identify the issue, charge you for giving wrong advice, and then charge you to fix the wrong item.

They refuse to take any responsibility, and to top it all off, I was asked at the beginning if I would like my car washed, I said yes, and they didn’t even do that.

Worst parts department I have ever seen. I have been with Honda over 10 years, never any problems, but the Campbell River parts department is seriously sub-par.

You are better off driving to Courtenay.

Came from out of town, bro in law purchased a used vehicle; they went beyond the call of duty to rectify matters. Excellent crew & manager, definitely a 5 star, 6 if there was one!

We had our 2007 CRV towed to the Honda service department at the suggestion of the tow company after I experienced some brake line issues. The service department was closed, although my husband did speak to someone on Saturday and gave them a heads up.
I called late Monday afternoon and they hadn't looked at the car yet. Best case scenario, the service advisor said, was they would look at it that night-worst case scenario, the next morning. Come late Tuesday afternoon, they still hadn't looked at my car and offered me the same explanation. Finally by Wednesday they looked at the vehicle and determined they needed to order a part and my car wouldn't be done until Friday. Fast forward to Monday morning when we were finally able to get out to the dealership, my car made terrible noises the minute I drove off of the lot. Pulled a U-turn and headed straight back. After some argumentative back-and-forth about what could be causing the issue, they tried to write it off as a brake issue (even though the noise was happening while accelerating), rust on my rotors, or it having sat for days?
They had the mechanic come out and take the car for a drive. The noise was loud and obvious. He hopped out of the car, crawled underneath it and bent something back into place that THEY had damaged during their repairs. Noise gone.
Not sure I'd be as dissatisfied with the experience if there was more honesty with turnover times, or if we weren't blamed for the noises coming from my car that did not exist before dropping it off.
I've dealt with rusty rotors, I know what it sounds like. Brakes felt and sounded fine.
I suggest taking your customer's concerns more seriously and trying to be less combative/argumentative, although I do expect a sassy retort as that seems to be their customer service style.

Very, very disappointed.you gave me an job estimate of $1,200 for complete job (all costs in) and handed me a bill for $2,200 when done.an added cost of $1,000 over estimate.very poor! (especially since my 2008 Accord has only 91,000 kms on it and is in mint condition). Too early to see if the work was done right.no problems with car running coming back to Courtenay. I can see a couple hundred dollars estimating error, but for such a basic maintenance job as timing belt and related replacements, just don't see how you could be out $1,000. I'm 80 years old and on modest pension, so this is significant.not likely to use your services again.

Honda management: they appreciated my feedback and understood my concern for the size of the cost variance.they were able to make a satisfactory adjustment to my account for a future service. I appreciated their immediately contacting me to resolve my concerns.
Other than the estimate vs actual cost concern, their service including use of a courtesy truck was very good. I will be returning for a future service. RF

Initially I went to Honda to assist my daughter in purchasing a new Honda CRV Sport Ed. Loved the service so much, I went back and purchased a Honda Pilot Black Edition? From the moment we walked through the doors of Campbell River Honda, the professional service along with the welcoming atmosphere was phenomenal! This continues today as I'm certain will continue for many years to come! Keep up the great work guys.we will be back! Thank you Campbell River Honda!

Really rude young salesman. Assured me I could order a CTR (which I knew was incorrect). I go to the dealership and of course he tells me unfortunately they cannot order right now because the “system is down” (lie). Next I ask for some information on the 2023 CTR and he just looks at me like a deer in headlights. I dont know how these people keep their jobs without knowing anything about the cars they are trying to sell.

Everyone at Campbell River Honda worked together to make our experience there as enjoyable as possible. From the first greeting from our salesperson, Dayton, to driving home in our new car we were impressed by the service we received and every effort was made to accommodate us. We would never hesitate to recommend Campbell River Honda to anyone looking for an honest, fair and friendly staff to deal with.

The team at CR honda was a dream to deal with. Esther was very thorough in explaining the features of each vehicle i was interested in. Mike in finance was very patient with me as i explored a few different vehicles and payment options, i walked away feeling like i got everything i wanted at a price i was happy with! Thank you!

Bought a used 4Runner from CR Honda. I was happy with the pricing and vehicle. The vehicle needed a number of repairs and I found the repair shop to be extremely friendly and responsive. The pricing was fair for both the vehicle and the repairs. The business office was friendly and professional. Only complaint is the interior of the car was not cleaned before I purchased it. It had food and spilled drink, stains, fur etc. It was barely wiped done. I ended up getting it detailed locally it was that bad. I'm not sure if that was a function of the deal we struck, maybe that wasn't included. But I've purchased many a car from dealerships and I've never had one not cleaned first. Overall, the people were nice to deal with and I felt fairly treated. I'm very happy with the vehicle. Just one small hiccup.
