The people here are super knowledgeable and take the time to help you get exactly what you need. You want a $7,000 laptop? They got you. You want the bang for the buck CPU cooler that fits in a SFF case? They’ve got it covered. Hands down the best place for computer and hardware-related purchases.

My new Corner store for satisfying my craving for Tech candy, but easily the size of some big box vendors down the block. Wow. I knew what I wanted to buy before going in and thanks to the highly knowledgeable and attentive CSR named "Maggie" I stuck to my limited budget and was efficiently processed. My thanks to you Maggie. I can't wait to return with a handful of cash, and an afternoon to shop the thousands of high tech bits and bytes for my next home build. Its about time for some fun and with CC & E so conveniently located across the lower Mainland I am salivating to get at it. This Post is 5/5. Can't wait for my next visit.

This was my first time in this location. I have been in maybe three or four locations in more then one province and this one was the biggest location with the widest isles. It was a comfortable experience instead of feeling crowded and overwhelmed. They had a lot of staff working so there was no wait time for help. I will visit this one again for sure.

Great staff that are helpful and knowledgeable. There is a huge selection of tech toys for everyone.
Parking lot is easy to access and is great for bigger vehicles.

Great selection of products for every technical occasion. I went for a few specifics and found them all. Lacked a great deal of RAM products which wasn't great but I did notice that the prices were extremely fair.

At a time when solid service can be hard to find, I was more than pleased with the time and service I received here.
Making a modest purchase of a new monitor, the young woman helping me was more than patient and accommodating. She showed many options, explained the differences and what you got for the money, and answered all my questions.
I was very pleased and based on this experience would certainly recommend CCE.

I just saw my review was deleted. Not sure if the company paid Google for it.

I pre-ordered an 3080 white Strix in 2020 Oct with full money paid, and waited 5 months to get declined. At the time the card price got crazy and the their internal employee on Reddit posted that they decline most preorders, not for supply chain shortage, but for moving cards on the whole computer sale instead of sole cards.
I didn't get any apologize, not even store credit for future use. They just used mine $1000s free of interest for 5 months. There is no way that you purchase a pre-sale home with FULL price, waited 4 years then got declined, as they say the property price is increasing and they can't make enough money from you. No need to mention some rude employee and managers from this store. Just avoid this company, not just this store.

Helpful staff. Ordered online but turned out the merchandise was a demo - not for sale. I didn't see the email notification until I was at the store. But the sales person went to double check and walked me to the aisle to check alternatives. Very enthusiastic.

Went in needing to get a new CPU Cooler and upgrade my RAM, Alex was amazingly helpful with the product reccommendations as well as Kevin did an speedy job on installing the cooler and RAM, as well as a full rebuild because I needed a new case for the cooler. Not only was the build speedy, it was EXTREMELY clean as well, every cable was tucked away and it looks beautiful.

If you need help, I highly recommend talking to Alex and or Kevin if either of them are in!

I never write reviews but this location has terrible customer service.
Bought an entire computer setup from their Broadway location which was fantastic but it had issues right away so I came to this location as it was closer. The middle aged tech berated me saying it's Broadway's problem and why would I come here and spoke over me anytime I tried to ask something. He said he didn't believe anything I said and told me to call Broadway which I did. Even when Broadway confirmed what I had said he essentially told me to get out and walked away. Went back to Broadway and they fixed the issue in 10mins with an update. Literally the time it took the tech to yell at me.
Stay away from this location if you can.

Awesome customer service! Go see Vanessa if you need help. She was able to answer all my questions without making me feel bad about how little I know. She also set me up with my service ticket for the work being done to my rig, helped me pick out all the additional parts I required for my setup and some ideas for the next build. 10/10 experience. Once again, go see Vanessa she rocks!

I am new to PC building and had trouble deciding on which b450 motherboard along with which ram to choose. The employees were welcoming and I received help from Venus. She was able to help me differentiate between the motherboards available, making it easy for me to choose a board along with some ram! Huge thanks to Venus, I am in love with my PC

She was very patient and took time to explain the different laptops I was looking at and suggested things that were within my budget. Huge Thankyou to one of the Representatives at this location.
Vanessa was a huge help with my acquisition of a GPU.
I had only recently assembled my first computer, and the GPU shortage plaguing the PC community finally reared its ugly head as the only device I could get my hands on was a measly 1030, good enough to tie me over, but not great.
I had dealt with Vanessa before, when I was making my purchases to build my rig, and a few more times after that to check in on any surprise stocks of Graphics Cards.
Finally, when I was able to reserve a 3070ti online, it was Vanessa who went out of her way (30 minutes before her shift ended) to complete my order as they were prepping to close up.
I see myself shopping at this location many more times to come, thanks to the amazing service I received on repeated occasions.

I'm not much of a tech-savvy person, but Vanessa really went above and beyond to understand my needs were and helped me understand what was best me! I always appreciate people who know what they're talking about and enjoy sharing the knowledge with others. She was patient and answered all my questions which gave me all the confidence with my choices. If wasn't for her I wouldn't have completed my build till 2077! Definitely look for Vanessa if you ever drop by, you won't regret it!

As others have stated, during the current covid restrictions the store is not possible to browse. Sales people are not helpful. You basically have to look on the web, check store stock, then go to the store and pay for it. Other locations seem to be more friendly and helpful.

Just purchased a motherboard from this store. There was a bit of mixup with my order as it was in-store pick up only and I live on Vancouver Island. The staff was very accommodating in helping me try to get my order shipped out to me.

Really appreciate their help with my situation. That being said, they should update their system to allow instore orders to be paid for online.

The day before Father’s Day i went into Canada Computers on Grandview Hwy and attempted the impossible; to get my husband the perfect Father’s Day gift. I know absolutely nothing about gaming computers and only have a small understanding of the computer my husband was building and what he needed. Vanessa was the absolute savior here. She made me feel valued and helped me immensely! When there was a stock issue with the item, Zenon came to help and they worked some SERIOUS magic to get me my item, same day, in store! My husband’s jaw hit the floor when he opened his gift. I had such an amazing experience and I will be back FOR SURE. Vanessa is amazing and I will be back because of her.

Location is easily missed, causing quite the detour, however if you know where you're going this location is very quick to reach whether you're driving into vancouver, or a local.
The store is quite large, and packed with typical pc goods, however being a pc component store, it would be nice if they stocked a greater variety, and number, of components (like cables, raid cards, adapters, etc) the variety is lacking, and still requiring us to source from amazon, ebay, pc stores from the US.
A large specialty shop should fulfill its role, and be the one stop shop for computer related goods, but they aren't.

Went in for an hemi cable and was treated rudely being told that there is no free browsing in the store and I would have to tell them what I wanted and they would pick one out for me, even though I was there last week and they did not attempt this with me. I am not sure I will be back due to his attitude

Went in because my computer was shutting down during gaming. I suspected a faulty power supply (that I bought at Canada Computers) and advised the tech as such. I paid the diagnostic fee and left. I got a call letting me know that they thought it was an overheating issue and to pay for a dust cleaning, so I did.

I brought the computer home and not only did it still shut down unexpectedly during gaming but it was happening more frequently so I brought it back and explained once again the issue I was having. They explained to me a number of possible reasons for why it could be shutting down (none of them being replacing the power supply that was still under their warranty). In the end I bought a new case, a new motherboard, a new processor, liquid cooling for the processor and a bunch of new fans for the new case.

I brought my PC home again and SUPRISE SUPRISE it STILL shuts off fully while gaming. I called the store and spoke to Kevin and he told me it was possibly an overheating problem (DESPITE THE FACT THEY JUST SOLD ME OVER $1500 IN PARTS TO SOLVE AN "OVERHEATING" PROBLEM). At this point I asked to speak to a manager about my issue as talking to the tech wasn't going anywhere useful, he told me the manager was on lunch, I said "no problem, let me know how long he'll be gone and I'll call back. " he told me "since we're understaffed right now we might now be able to answer the phone at that time" I said "not a problem, just let me know how long the manager will be gone for and I'll call back, if I have to call a few times that's no big deal" he paused for a few moments and said "Thank you for call, have a nice day" and hung up on me.

I will be calling back a few time over the next couple days hoping to speak to a manager and resolve this and will update this review based on how that goes, if that doesn't go anywhere then I will be issuing a charge back on my card and will not be doing business here anymore and I recommend others do the same.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Horrible customer service. Long wait times. Stock is inaccurate. Pay attention to the negative reviews!
Like many reviewers have said, BEWARE of stock inaccuracy! Wasted hours waiting in line just to hear from their employees to say a product is sold out. FYI - they do not answer their phones, it's basically a dead line.

Always had good experiences with staff in store until lately. I backordered an EVGA XC3 3080 to the tune of $1174.88 in store around Dec 18th. After three weeks of waiting I went back in Jan 12th to cancel the backorder and process the refund. The clerk was having some issues so he called his manager over. The manager advised that they got a new computer system that now has "passwords" assigned to backorders, and that mine does not have a password since my backorder was on the old system. I had the invoice with me and the original receipt.

He said he would email accounting at head office to get this refund processed for me. He said it would take a couple of days but someone there would reach out to me to get this resolved. No problem - I can wait a couple of days.

We're now at a week later and still radio silence from Canada Computers, either in store or at head office. I've submitted two tickets to their online support system and they have been completely ignored.

At this point I will wait until the end of the week for news from them. If they have not reached out by the end of the week I will be claiming a chargeback on my credit card.

Do not put any money down on any item they do not have in stock. Getting it back - even for legitimate reasons - is like pulling teeth.

Customer service reps (those who interact with the public) are friendly and focused on customer needs. Management can be very rude and needs to learn customer service skills. As long as management doesn't serve you, I recommend this particular store. There are many computer stores with similar stock and prices - what will make you stand out is your customer service. But perhaps their managers are promoted based on technical knowledge instead of their customer service skills. I think I will go to another Canada Computers store for my future needs as I don't have time for rude people especially if my children are with me and I don't want to give my money to help pay for their pay cheque. Such bad role models. But the actual workers have always been friendly.

Seems well stocked but customer service is subpar (I understand and respect covid precautions but 2 customers at a time in a massive warehouse store with no browsing?) and the atmosphere in this place is so cold and unwelcoming that it makes the average funeral feel like Mardi Gras.

Purchased a new computer from this location in January of 2021. Computer was amazing and the price was excellent. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

I placed my order and had not heard from them in two days. I tried calling their central customer support center and was told "your call is important to us, please leave a message" before getting a busy signal. When I called the store, my call was repeatedly unanswered. I was worried at this point that I may have been the victim of a scam. A friend told me there was no line at the shop, so I went to the store and waited about 40 minutes before I spoke with someone.

Massive shop, but appeared to only have one employee. I eventually saw someone else in the back stocking shelves. The employee was apologetic about the wait and filled my order immediately. He was also able to answer my questions about my new computer (which accessories it came with, if there was any I might need, etc). He was friendly and seemed to be in good spirits.

Excellent staff, at least the person who helped me, however the mismanagement of the store and the entire chain is so atrocious that I'll never shop there again. Given the lack of staffing, I'd have serious concerns about giving them any money for anything that they couldn't immediately deliver. The place has serious "NCIX about to go bankrupt" vibes.

For comparison, their main competitor Memory Express has an order turnover of usually a few hours, about half a dozen or more staff per store, and excellent customer service. The savings just aren't worth the frustration and poor service for me, personally. I value my time and my mental health more than that.

If I could give a zero star I would. The item I was looking for was on sale and not in stock at the nearest location. On their website it noted that I could order the product I wanted in the store. I assumed at the current sale price. After waiting an hour outside I finally was excited to place my order. But I was told they couldn't guarantee the sale price as they don't do rain checks. I noted to them that it was never stated "No Rainchecks" on their website. Also that their website listed that I could order that specific item in the store. But I was turned away with nothing but severe disappointment. Would have been my first purchase at Canada Computers, but they will never get my business ever. One final note is that their website really sucks. All the people in the line waiting agreed and was the only reason they were at the store.

Website said they had the item i wanted but they didn’t have it in stock and i had to wait half an hour for my item outside.and i also had called the store twice just to double check if they had the item so i wouldn’t have to waste my time getting there but there was no answer.

Whoever manages this store needs to get it together. I've called many times and seems to get the run around with no one picking up.

Update: popped by the store and it's completely dead. Good thing they had something in stock, or Memory Express is the better place to go

Unfortunately I have to give this company a 3 star review. I have bought $1000 worth of items from this company (receipt and proof if you want to debate), A MSI B550 MAG tomahawk motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 5600x and H100 MC case. Being 5600x is a newer architect then the motherboard I needed a Bios update. Which I was hoping they would help me with free of service. But apparently they charge you $50, But since I bought the items there they gave me a discount down to "$28". Conclusion and moral of this story is that my friend (with proof) had the same issue and Memory Express that which he purchased the items from was given free service. So if you had the same issue or 2 of the same items from different companies and same price go to Memory Express instead. I guarantee they will have a better service and support and they are still local and have just as many stores around B. C. If Canada computers don't have deals or items you need in stock I would recommend Memory Express.

Before I go on a mini rant I'd like to thank Tony and Timothy as they are very nice individuals. Don't get me wrong this place is pretty good for computer parts but its the customer service that ruins the experience. First off this store is huge, like really big, yet they only allow 1-2 customers in the store at a time. Which results in nearly hour long lines on any day of the week at any time. You cannot browse the store, you just tell them what you want and they get it for you. Secondly an item that says its in stock in store is rarely actually available in store. Their customer service is nonexistent they do not answer the phone or reply to emails. For example I backordered two items with them, a ryzen 5 5600X and a RTX 3070 while the 5600X came in just under a week ive been waiting for the 3070 for over a month and I have no way of receiving any information or estimates on when it may come Ive emailed and called with no avail. The only way I can get some info is if I go to the store and wait in a 30 minute line. Beware any item you buy here will be an eternal pain to return so don't think about it. Overall the prices are fine but there quite a bit of issues.

BEWARE. Ordered a product online as it was in-stock, we go inside to pick it up as its "in store pick up only" and they do not have the product as their "system isn't up to date and have old computer hardware" ITS A COMPUTER STORE.
Also, they only allow 2 people in at a time and will NOT allow you to walk around the store to purchase other product.
This place used to be good, not anymore. Buy your product online and ship it to your house, do not support this terribly run store.

Order was ready for pickup within 24h.it was exchange only once I declined the insurance upsell, but it *was* on sale.
Oh, and be prepared to wait in line outside. The Sunday after black Friday it took nearly 45m. I'm glad they're taking covid seriously though:)

Try to avoid this place at all cost! Very rude attitude towards customers & seems like manager does not care at all. If you have to make your customer wait for an hour to just pick up an online order, you better show some respect to the customer rather than ignoring them & blame everything towards COVID. Very poor management & full of disappointment.

On April 2nd, 2020 I brought a video card to upgrade my desktop, unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my desktop. I went in-store for a refund, however I was declined the refund as the new covid-19 refund policy was in place. I argued that I purchased my video card before the new policy was in effect. On the receipt it clearly states "45-day refund & exchange policy. " On their website it clearly states:
"Temporary Return & Exchange Policy

Ontario and British Columbia Return & Exchange Policy
All purchases made on April 5th, 2020 and onwards, will be considered final sale.
Defective items may be exchanged within 15 days from date of purchase through contactless curbside exchange. "

In my opinion, I believe this is unfair to decline the customer a refund as I have no use for this video card and I feel cheated during this Covid-19 Pandemic. It clearly falsely advertise as @Canada Computers Grandview can say whatever they please in order to keep my hard earned money.

I won't be shopping here again. My partner and I came to this store for a refund. The person who helped us pulled up the wrong reciept and as we were doing the refund he checked my partners credit card, telling us this isn't the right credit card. The manager Chad at the Grandview hwy Vancouver location, stepped in and started being very aggressive towards us, basically accusing us of fraud, raising his voice and speaking to us in a very rude and unprofessional tone. They didn't even bother looking at the purchase confirmation email on our phone, even though we insisted on it.we even tried to show them my partner's ID to prove that they pulled up the wrong reciept. Eventually they found out that they pulled up the WRONG reciept with the WRONG customer profile. The manger did not apologise to us, rather he just walked away. I had to confront him saying he shouldn't be treating customers this way, when this wasn't our fault. He didn't even bother to apologize to my partner. Absolute WORSE customer service I have ever received and no one should ever be treated this way and falsely accused of anything.
