I have been trying to get information on how to get warranty work done on my vehicle now for 2 DAYS. I called the toll free number and not a single agent there knows how this works. One of the agents even said “who is your warranty with? ” Um. I was promised a call back from someone who could answer my questions yesterday and still nothing. And now today every time I call the toll free number the call disconnects before I can even speak to anyone. I need warranty work done on my vehicle ASAP and am not getting anywhere. You would assume that because Canada Drives sold me the warranty and it’s in their name they would know how to proceed with using it. Apparently the extended warranty I bought is now a useless piece of paper. Word to the wise — don’t get sucked in by the promises of their extended warranties. Very disappointed and frustrated.

It runs a hard credit check without even taking consent. I noticed it on my credit report today. The credit was checked in 2018. I had signed up worn them through Facebook to see their inventory and search car. And yet, they had run a credit check and negatively impacted my credit score. They are not professionals.

The online process was simple and straightforward they moved extremely quickly and made sure to get everything in order within one hour of us deciding on a car. The car arrived the next morning! This was also very straightforward and simple, they were very honest and Upfront about everything. The car was in great condition and all inspection reports were provided. If you’re looking to get a preowned car, I would absolutely recommend using Canada drives over going to a traditional dealership.

Very poor communication, takes too long to get an answer. They wait forever until they update you with what is needed to complete your application (meanwhile you are loosing the shopping window so your credit score does not get affected and they don't care). When the application is complete, you need to keep following up on them in order get an answer). Aggressive corporate culture.
I went to a regular dealership, I got my car loan in one day with a very fair rate.

I am really pleased with the vehicle that I purchased from Canada Drives, as well the trade-in. All of the people that I worked with were really professional, but Eli and Cole in particular provided excellent customer service. The vehicle was delivered on time exactly when they said it would. They also agreed to provide some detailing work on the exterior paint and windows that were covered in a grey film. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Canada Drives, and I would do it again.

Great car buying experience. I recommend these guys. Great car selection. Great customer service. Very easy process from start to finish. No pressure car buying. No hidden fees. You know exactly what you are getting prior to delivery. The insurance broker called me before the car arrived and the delivery driver brought the car and insurance documents and I just had to get in and drive. Also the 7 day return guarantee is a fantastic option. I got a 2015 Mazda with 89,000km unfortunately the hub and bearing went on it 3 weeks after the 30 day warranty which Canada drive offered. Thankfully I got a great call agent Ariyan who went above and beyond and was able to get management to cover half the cost.

Canada drives which says that if you work you drive is like every other car company new or used that does not want to give you authorization to buy their vehicles. They will tell you that you are pre-approved but it's a scam. If you were authorized you would be able to set a decent price but they wouldn't allow that. They want you on the defensive at all times sweating it out whether you will actually get the vehicle you desire. Be forewarned you will never get the vehicle that you want, you will get the one that makes them the most profit.

First time buying a car online. All the agents were lovely and helpful at times a bit confusing because of the many customer agents we spoke with. Was able to get direct contact with a few awesome agents like Paul, Scarlet and Alex. The gentleman that helped us retrieve our car and swap the plates from our trade in was amazing, kind and had a good sense of humour. I would recommend Canada Drives because they provide excellent customer service and the car was presented as expected in immaculate condition.

I had heard some good things about this company from some friends and coworkers of mine so I decided to give them a shot. My experience with them ended up being quite disappointing. The car was a day late to be delivered, interior detailing was poor (there was dust and grime in and around all the buttons, seats, steering wheel etc. They give the interior surfaces a quick wipe down and vacuum but that seems to be about it). In addition to this, two of the wheels were curbed (not shown in the pictures) and it did not come with the navigation system package that it was advertised with. Overall I did like the car so I reached out to customer service to see if I'd be able to get a slight discount in price due to the decreased value associated with the issues listed above, and they only offered $200. Considering I bought the car for $30,000, and the nav system alone costs $1000+ (not taking into account any of the other issues), that offer seemed fairly ridiculous and just goes to show they really don't care about their accountability or customer base. Only good thing I can really say about this company is that the customer service rep I dealt with was great, however that was not enough to offset an overall poor experience.

I’m a car guy and I like to kick tires and negotiate a fair deal. I saw the add for Canada Drives and the terms 7 day 500 klms return money back and 30 day 1500klms warranty got my interest. I started my application on a Friday got a response for my trade in and price was more than anywhere else I tried. I then finished the application, put down a deposit then minutes later they excepted application and gave me choice of when vehicle to be delivered. Wednesday between 9-11 am next week. So on Wed at 9: 30 truck and trailer pull up front with my car. Francis was my delivery tech and he did an excellent job. I had an hour to check vehicle out, it was perfect no issues. I had the insurance transferred the previous day by agent provided by Canada drives. Francis set up table in trailer and completed paper work. He transferred the plates, loaded up my trade and I was on my way. I highly recommend Canada drives and will use them again.

The process seems easy and straight forward.the service is great. They keep in touch via text messages during the whole process, which is reassuring. One note to buyers, Don't expect perfectly good cars, because they are used but generally good cars.

Bought a 2018 red Tesla 3 long range, everything went smoothly until delivery. The car had multiple defects that were not reported in the ad, such as:
Damaged front mud flaps,
Multiple scratches on the screen,
Scratch right front door,
Center console didn't close properly,
Dent in the dash board passenger side.
I didn't take delivery and returned the car right away. Too bad.

Update:
After talking to Amanda from Canada Drives, we agreed that I was willing to buy the car back should they address and fix the defects. And they kept their promises. So did I and I bought the car back. Overall, the process was smooth, from dealing over the phone/emails w/ the team to the actual delivery. Revised my rating from 1 star to 5 stars.

WOW JUST WOW. Sitting on couch one night an ad for Canada drives pops up and I recognize it from the truck and trailer going Thur local town spot in summer wife said she wanted new car so on a whim tossed in the 4 questions got a call next day with with an amazing no BS offer so wife picked care on their website and a couple days later boom they show up drop her newly picked car and load hers and drive way! Was so cool all paper work and insurance and everything done over phone, text or email was so easy, The after sale experience also quick fantastic they stand behind the cars they sell and ensure 110% satisfaction

My application was such a convoluted mess from the get go! I had just moved to BC from ON 2 days prior to applying, and our house had been delayed so our address was an AinBNB and none of my statements or bills had our soon-to-be current address on it. My self-employment had been stable for less than 6 month. And my driver's license had expired shortly before we moved so I had paperwork to go with the ID to prove it was considered valid - thankfully they accept Birth Certificates as a primary ID. It was an absolute Cluster! But I submitted, just to see what would happen.
What I received in return was a number of phone calls walking me through every step of the process. What I received was excellent communication, solution-minded support and thorough explanations whenever I needed them. What I received was someone else taking care of the insurance and license plates in a province that was new to me and who's process was SO different that I'd had no idea where to start. What I received was multiple assurances that they would work with me to make this happen. What I received was confident confirmation that I'd made the best choice possible in selecting a dealership for my new-to-me car.
This whole process could have easily gone sideways - so many, many times. But it didn't. I'm, legitimately, a handful of a customer during a smooth process - but I didn't feel like it once during any of the 100 calls or emails to them. Also, I should like to mention that 90% of the process was done in sweatpants from the AirBNB couch (the other 10% involved going in public to physically receive the car).

I will admit, I was a little sceptical at first but I researched the company and all was up and up. Selling your car to someone is always nerve racking, using Canada Drives is seamlessly easy from start to finish. I dropped the car off, AJ removed the plates and signed a few papers. Very fast and transparent to deal with. Everything was easy and direct. I had an absolutely seamless and positive experience from start to finish. Everyone I delay with was excellent and are amazing at their jobs.

No doubt, one of the EASIEST things i have ever done, in a time where i thought all was hopless. I had a van from another ppace, and they were fantastic, but injeeded a second reliable vehicle to get me to and from work so my wife and 4 iids could have the van with them. Even my fantastic lady couldnt pull the right strings to get me in there. I figured heck, why not give it a shot. Within 48 hours i was already driving my next car, but it wasnt quite the right fit, so i gave them a shout back, and within the same day i was reapproved for something even more expensive and ready to go and it was a perfect fit. Thier 7 day return or exchange policy is absolutely wicked and super easy. On the new car, i found a couple very minor issues, they said absolutel6 no problem, found a warrenty apriloved shop minutes from my house and already booked in ready to go! Between the inexpensive extended warrenty (was 1500 for 40,000 kms) the inexpensive cars, and how genuinely easy simple quick everything is, if you are in need of a new car i would highly recomend sending in a request. This is the second vehicle I've bought through Canada Drives, and I've been very impressed with the whole experience with them. From the easy to search website, to the great pictures of each vehicle, as well as a comprehensive list of each vehicle's features, it made finding a vehicle very easy. Application for financing, and valuing and inclusion of the trade-in was fast and easy, and all costs and pricing were up-front and fair. Delivery of the vehicle, and pick-up of the trade-in was also super easy, and the driver was helpful and very professional and friendly.

Everything went smoothly, nice, simple and fast. I went online on Sunday night and got my car on Tuesday afternoon including a loan with a very reasonable interest rate. I will do it again.

It seemed too easy. I kept waiting for a catch but never happened. Found the exact car I wanted online. Received the Carfax report, then the service records, had a couple of questions which were answered then paid a deposit online. The next day - trailer pulls up, car is unloaded, paid the remainder, we completed the insurance paperwork and was done! It was quick, simple and just an amazingly easy!

Getting approved was quick, getting in contact with the people to arrange delivery? IMPOSSIBLE. They can’t tell us anything, say their dispatch team is only there Mon-Fri 9-5. We’ve had everything signed for days and they keep telling us, that they will contact us whenever. 4 different agents in 4 different days say 4 different things as well. We have to arrange time off work to go to Van because they don’t do ferries. So if the car isn’t what it looks like, we spending a few 100$ for nothing. And trying to get back home? Lol we can’t reserve because they literally haven’t contacted us in days. Delivery in under 24 hours is clearly false advertising. Frustrated is an understatement.

The process was really easy and simple. I appreciated the experience being completely online and upfront without having to travel to test drive or dealing with hidden issues from a private seller. The price was also really good for the vehicle.
These are used vehicles but when my car arrived, it appeared and smelled brand new from the inside out. I haven’t had any issues and it is by far the easiest car transaction you can probably have.

Bought a car on my credit card, when it came time to deliver it, they couldn't the car had "issues", had to wait days for the $16K to be credited back to my Visa.

The whole process from start to finish was pretty impeccable. Bought a 2015 Mini Cooper. Once the car arrived, the gentleman unloading it was amazing and the car was almost near spotless.

AMAZING! If I did not experience it for myself, I would not have believed it. I recently listed my vehicle for sale and received an instant offer from Canada Drives that was incredibly fair. Within a couple of days, I got a call to schedule pick up and to let me know what I needed to do to prepare for the sale.which was next to nothing. My credit application needed certain details to be explained outside on the credit app. They ran my credit 11 times at 11 different places in a 2-day time period instead of reaching out to me. I lost 70 points. This place might be good to find a car but def not to find credit options

Seems like a scam. I filled out an application and one of there employees named Evo contacted me, I then worked with him for a few days to figure out what kind of vehicle would work for me. Now I have not been able to get a hold of him in over a week, he doesn't answer calls or texts. They ran my credit but have not given me any type of explanation as to why things are not moving forward.

I had purchased a vehicle from Canada drives almost a month prior. It passed a government inspection and I was told it was going through repairs and would be like “new” when I received the truck. They dropped the truck off late at night and immediately when the deliver driver left, the vehicle wouldn’t start right away. I notified the sales rep immediately and from here, it took nearly a MONTH to have it fixed. My own mechanic said the car had fuel pump problems, possible spark plug issue, the breaks were DONE on the front end and at the end of their life (I hadn’t even had the truck for a full week), they sent another mechanic who said the same thing and then I brought it to an auto repair shop they recommended where they confirmed the same things and more issues. The mechanic at this shop said he had a hell of a time getting ahold of anyone to approve the repairs and kept getting the run around. He was told to contact the warranty company, Global Warranty where they denied the repairs.

I ended up having to call Canada drives myself and ask to speak to a manager and nobody would send me to one. The sales rep kept saying he would and never would contact me to arrange this. I ended up speaking with Shawn, the service manager who was the most helpful person but he can’t speak on what happened during the sales process and sent me to Amanda who kept saying she would phone me and never would daily. I ended up contacting the bank who approved my financing and they were the ones who were able to get me somewhere.

At this point I decided I didn’t want the truck since it passed a fraudulent inspection and was a lemon. They refused to take back the truck and management bickered back and forth blaming one another for issues and supposedly got the “owners” involved who were “helping” me with the situation yet I never spoke to an owner. They also said the owners agreed that this situation was handled well after the sales rep was wasting my time giving me and the mechanic the run around and then management disappeared and kept passing me back and forth for weeks. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had. The truck needed at least $3000 worth of repairs. All they did was offer me an exchange because they fixed the issues and Amanda told me that none of the issues I had were safety concerns beside the fuel pump and breaks. Yet the mechanic also said the rotors and spark plugs needed to be replaced. After this experience I refuse to trust them. Disgraceful. Don’t trust this company. I reported them to the better business bureau and management refused to give me these “owners” names so I could document for my lawyer and file who made this decision.

I’ve been looking at getting a new car and I didn’t know where could I get it, which make, model, etc. I didn’t sure about it, but Canada Drivers helped me and it was awesome; I applied, I was approved and I got my new car. Just amazing. Thanks to Canada Drivers.

After completing the application of what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend, jumping through so many hoops to get approved (when I really just wanted to see what kind of vehicles they were offering), I was offered vehicles for double what I said I wanted to pay a month. When I expressed this, I was told I wouldn’t be able to get what I was looking for within my budget - they tell me this AFTER they’ve pulled my credit info, so my credit score took a hit for nothing. I ended up going through a dealership instead where I got exactly what I wanted within my budget. When the dealership checked my credit, it showed that Canada Drives had pulled my credit TWICE. For nothing. The dealership I bought from advised me to withdraw my consent and application with Canada Drives so they don’t continually sell my info to third parties who then try to get me into a vehicle - yes, Canada Drives charges dealerships $$ for your credit info who then offer vehicles to you. All in all, they are a complete scam.

My Husband and I were extremely fortunate to have found this wonderful place when inquiring about a new vehicle. This absolute gem and angel of a man named Colton helped us not only get a vehicle, he exceeded all of our expectations in getting us a 2017 Jetta Wolfsburg, when so many other places wouldnt even give us a chance. Not only that, but he made every single step of the process fast, smooth and pain free. Colton was extremely friendly and thorough. Stay far away from this company, especially if you have poor credit.they will soak you for everything you got. I was promised a vehicle, was told congratulations its all yours.then call me 2 days later and say "The Higher Ups" reversed their decision. Scammers IMO

I had so many text messages from these people and everytime i would ask them to stop but they wouldnt.i had to resort to swearing at them and threatening to complain to managment before they stopped. Also when i spoke with them they were OBVIOUSLY trying to confuse me by taking fast with big words and instructional questioning. Not cool. BUT I wont condem the whole company for a few shifty employess

Absolutely disgusting company! DO NOT GO WITH THEM. They buy cars for 2 and and lease then out to people on a 28 thousand dollar contract. Not to mention they get people to lie about the actual condition of the car. My friend was leased a car that was supposed to have brand new rotors & brakes & only 100,000 km on it.when actually getting it inspected for herself after it started acting funny it ended up having over 400,000 k on it plus the rotors and brakes were completely SHOT. They call and harass you, threatening you with a bunch of different things. Do not go with these people.

I had an absolute terrible experience with this company. I got approved for A loan and decided to change my mind and back out. They tried to bully me into picking A vehicle. I had to get A family friend who has managed car dealership for many years to review the loan agreement. He told me that they where lining to me and I just needed to tell them to leave me alone.which after many text they finally did. I do not make reviews or complain on the internet this is my first review. My hope is that if anyone reads this that they will find another option to save them A potentially terrible experience. Especially people who haven't a lot of knowledge in this area like myself.

Terrible company, two calls per day to my cellphone even after I told hem I wasn't interested anymore. Upon further research it is clear that they are a predatory company with ridiculous interest rates. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO UNLESS WANT TO BE HOUNDED BY THEM! As a student that already occurs a great deal of monetary stress this company was the last thing I needed. Will be telling everyone I know to STAY AWAY!

These lovely people sold me a vehicle with 120km, and brakes / rotors just done. I found it making a strange noise and had a mechanic look at it, the rotors were hand tight (very dangerous considering they knew I have a baby). And brakes were completely gone. After requesting the safety inspection report I later find out that the car actually has 400,000 something km on it. The people who did the safety inspection lied on paper for Canada drives possibly putting my life and my infants life at risk. They’ve threatened me with all kinds of things. Finally I was able to get some legal help and have my loan reversed and the car returned. Btw the loan had hidden fees of almost 12 grand! It’s been 4 months and they’ve just contacted me again, claiming I never sent the registration back with the vehicle. Threatening me again, harassing me via phone call and text even though I told them I’ve just had a major surgery and won’t be able to meet them for a while. They’ve called saying “oh you work here” “oh but you live here right” as a scare tactic to try and force me into doing what they say IMMEDIATELY. Once again, even after explaining I had just had a surgery. If they were an authorized dealership they wouldn’t need me to sign any papers over. They would legally be able to do that themselves. They took advantage of me knowing I was a young female. Now they are trying to register this car under their own name to resell it at 28k value when they paid 2000$ for it at an auction! Total scam artists. Hidden fees, harassment, tampering with an odometer. I don’t recommend lol.

Canada drives is not to be trusted and I hope you will read the bad reviews! They put my family members in danger by selling them a car which was said to have 120 000k on it and when she had it looked at it was tampered with and had 400 000K ON IT! She has a infant. They have been harassing her and threatening her for months now and I must mention the car had 12k in extra fees she did not know about! Watch out! Do NOT trust Canada Drives whatever you do!

Just want to say thank you for your help assisting us in the purchase of a 'new' used truck! I was looking to purchase a truck about 4 yrs old, but instead, we were able to get into a 2017 with under 9000 kms for less than we thought we'd pay for an older truck! Ya'll put us in touch with Ian Long from Merton's GM, and wow! He wasn't pushy, and really helped us understand every aspect of what was available to us! Huge kudo's to him!

The way these people handle business and sell vehicles is darn right scary. A friend of mine recently bought a vehicle from them only to find out it should have been a write off. The "New" breaks were so far gone, the vehicle was a potential death trap. They had the safety report doctored to make people think the vehicle was worth as much as they were charging. Falsifying information like that is criminal, They lied to my friend about all the supposed work that was done and had the KM gauge altered. They harass people, bully people, threaten people and even bribe them for their silence. Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy from them. How do you sleep at night Canada Drives?

Half of the service is based on cars and that's where you have excellent customer service. On the other hand you have the loan service and they suck. They're super rude, they don't listen, and they get upset when you choose to think on it or simply say no. I've also had multiple times I said I want my information taken off so that you guys stop messaging me. I'm not interested in the loan or the car; yet you guys keep messaging me.

I would give this company a negative 5 if I could, they are an atrocious no-hearted group of scam artists and have absolutely no concern for the safety of their customers. My good friend of many years recently leased a car through Canada drive, she has a very young baby girl, which they were aware of, and they sold her a car that had HAND TIGHTENED bolts.as well as her loan has thousands of dollars worth of hidden fee's. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you are looking to get severely ripped off!

If I could give zero stars I would. First they wasted an entire afternoon of my time making me send them this and that and about 25 call backs. Then once the process was all done and I was approved for my loan, they skimmed through the agreement with me in about 30 seconds. Of course leaving out all the scammy fine print. Then they transfered me to some Spring Financial where all of a sudden I'm being told that on top of my monthly loan payments I will owe them bi weekly payments for some credit building service that I didn't ask for. I was told it's an optional service but I had already signed for it, I hadn't signed anything. I told them I am not interested in the credit building service and the representative, her name was Lucy, got incredibly rude with me and told me I have no choice. This is not how you do business. When I called Canada Drives back they transferred me back to Spring Financial where the whole song and dance started all over again. No one at Canada Drives said anything about this other service or that it had been automatically added to my loan. They are not a transparent company, they are deceitful, and they will trick you into things that will cost you money and not tell you until it's too late.

These people tried to extort me. Offered me 300$ cash to delete my bad review. I said I would meet them for the 300$ just to see if they would actually do that but of course, they backed out last minute. You can find my post below about how they lied to me and sold me a car with 400XXX Km and lied on icbc papers stating it had 120XXX km on it. They’ve harassed me via text and phone call. Often remind me they know where I work and live as a scare tactic. My loan has been reversed and is null. They girls they have driving them are often not Canadian. And very pushy. It was disturbing to tell a young lady my age today that they had put me and my infant in a dangerous situation because they lied about the brakes being fixed.she replied with they wouldn’t do that. After speaking to many people and deciding I wouldn’t sign any papers the female proceeded to try to scare me into signing. She then waited outside ICBC for me to come out. The workers at ICBC were just as disturbed and said they’ve only heard bad things from “Canada Drives” aka Vancouver auto liquidation. Do not do a deal with these manipulative people. I have picture proof of all the things above including the extortion.
