This office has the most rude, horrible, disrespectful, lazy incompetent Receptionist of any company ever! For the front line person representing GWL to be so rude and so horrible to people calling in is unspeakable. Join me in reporting her to the head of GWL, as this female is someone who has gotten away with treating people like garbage for too long.

I won't be accepting jobs from place that provide health insurance through Canada Life after this. It doesn't exist. I haven't received a single one of my claims.

After over an hour on hold and listening to their horrendous music, I never even got to speak to a customer service agent! Canada Life, hire more staff if you can't handle the number of customers calling you!

This company should be put out of business. I have contacted the ombudsman for this company, been promised return phone calls. NO customer service. They are paid big $$ by employers to service their staff and retired people, but no service at all. Employers should cancel their contract with this greedy company that provides absolutely no response, does not provide phone, text or email service. The CEO should be fired as well as all the staff. A total disgrace.

This Company is making hundreds of millions in revenue and has completely dropped the ball with the new federal workers transition. Collecting premiums from paychecks but not covering dental claims. Perhaps they should have gotten things in order BEFORE the big roll out. Multi hour waits on hold with zero customer service on the other end. If you work for this company save yourself the embarrassment and work somewhere else. The CEO needs to resign for this fiasco.

Absolutely no customer service. You can spend hours on hold never getting through and never getting callbacks. I'm not sure if this is their business model to frustrate customers so much they don't make claims against there healthcare plan.

I called multiple times to try and speak with my case manager. You can't speak to anyone and have to just leave a message, only for them to never call you back.

Couldn’t talk to my caseworker for nearly two years. Was it off of benefits unjustly, and finally back payed, after over a year of them stonewalling me. Had to repeatedly ask for them to restart benefits (which they’d told me I was entitled to), for months.

Finally, one benefit check came in at the appropriate time… two days later, they schedule an assessment and send me a letter saying “your benefits will continue until we receive the results of your assessment”.

This company is cruel and completely dispassionate in the way they do business. Would not recommend to anyone, ever, for any reason.

Oh Dear, in two months I will be transferring over from one company to my new company Canada Life, I'm trying to understand the emails I have been receiving from Canada Life, I have some questions no one is answering the phone & when I do call it asks for my ID or Certificate # no agent comes on the phone " then it states we are expecting some difficult please try again later" - 5 times already I'm a New Member Transferring Over I will not have the right information yet until - the email is linked & is asking for some personal information that I can not send, it does not send any address in the email to send too or unable to talk to a agent

What a shame this company is still in business and there is sadly many other corps supporting practices as such… bad customer service, archaic technology, confusing interface and websites…

If I could give zero stars I would 4 hours on hold on 3 different phone lines calling 3 different customer service numbers 4 1/2 hour later still no answer on a single line WOW you get better service at 7/11 there's no way it takes this long to answer a call unless you have no staff working this is so ridiculous NEVER in Canada have I had to wait on hold for this long for any reason.how does a multi billion dollar company not have staff to answer a phone call?

What a joke for a company called themselves Canada Life, they should be ashamed of themselves, pathetic, unprofessional, unorganized, terrible company, never return calls, never pick up their phones, I wish this company can go out of business!
