Canada Post

Service here really depends on who you get. I’ve had some great experiences and some absolutely dreadful.

Now I see why there are so many 1 star reviews. I came in with a huge smile and very polite and was treated rudely.

Went drop off a package shipping back to SSENSE, following the exact instructions:
1- Show this QR code to a Canada Post agent.
2- The Canada Post Agent will scan the QR code and process your package.

What an easy & beautiful process I thought!

I did this previously at Shopper’s Canada Post @ Hillside once and was perfectly smooth, except Vince who’s at the counter here insisted that I need to tape the label myself (the shipping label is printed on a piece of paper, not a sticker). Since i don’t just carry tapes around, he’s sorry that I need to bring the package back.

I’m sure when Canada Post pitched to SSENSE to get their business didn’t mention that the bring your own tape part.

Terrible, the workers here always have the phones turned off. I even went into the store and called while there were standing doing nothing but scrolling on their mobile phones. Went straight to the voicemail thats not activated saying that the worker was busy helping someone.

The delivery people for this location tend to be extremely rude and rather put a slip for you to pick up the package rather then them delivering it to your door. I heard a rattle at my door and opened it to the delivery person placing the notice slip for attempted delivery, only to see that they didnt have the package and they refused to talk to me or give me a reason for the lack of package. Instead i got a packege slip and need to wait another day to go pick up at the this location.

Their debit machine doesn't work with coast capital cards and even after getting a new card, they told me to go to another post office location. Have tried numerous times to use my card there. Why not get a new pos machine? They also closed before posted closing time! Annoying.

Staff at this location need to be fired. I've been bringing my items to Canada Post for years and every time they offer the little plastic pouch to put my shipping label in. This jerk looked at me and said to go to Monk's Office Supplies if I needed supplies. This was hands down the rudest person I've ever encountered at a post office. Took my item down to the Canada Post in Esquimalt where the gentleman merrily put the shipping label into a plastic sleeve and all was right with the universe again. Never going back to this place. Canada Post needs to fire the jerk working there. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Basically permanently closed.take the sign down! The big dollars the CEO is making at that joke organization is typical government bloat. Any legitimate business would have folded by now the way Canada Post is run.
