Really great Pacific Northwest Canadian experience. Even though I live in North Vancouver, the scenery was new and unique and I'm so happy I know a little bit more about the landscape nearby. Our guide, Tarn was super great.he told funny stories, made it extra fun and he was safe.

Did the Elaho raft tour with Theo yesterday.
Super cool experience. Theo has a lot of experience and ensures that you get the best rapids. On the quieter parts he tells a lot about the landscape and the surroundings. Great experience, enjoyed it very much!

The Elaho river with raft guide Eric was so fun! Who knew you could get both a thrilling adventure and a new crush on the same trip. Might have a professional heart throb on our hands!

We just had the funnest day of our lives on the river for a bachelorette event! Our guide Lucas was a hoot, and we felt very safe with him. I can’t wait to come back!

Our boat peddler Pedro and his instructor (can't recall the name but a guy with long curly hairs:) were too good and the whole rafting was enjoyable, adventurous and people were so cooperative especially putting cracking some Dad jokes:)

The experience was super fun and the guides kept everyone happy and safe. Instructions were clear and safety protocol was given in a way to keep everyone calm and confident. Our guide Connor was great, he had so much information to share about the area and really added to the whole experience. The views were beautiful and the water was cold, it was a 10/10 and I will definitely be back.

6 STARS. Yes, the rafting experience was amazing - but after I embarrassingly locked myself out of my car, the staff were so understanding and accommodating. They called for help while we were on the river, allowing us to enjoy the water! Plus, let us use their phone line for excruciatingly long!

This was my first rafting experience and I have to say that I was impressed. From the moment we got out of the car, staff were attentive, friendly and organized. Wilson, our guide, was not only a skilled helmsman, he was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot about local geography, geology and history. Highly recommend!

Competent and still entertaining crew. I felt safe and very well taken care of the entire trip through the stormy and wild water. If you're an adventures person, go for it! And if you're not, well.than it's the best opportunity to become one.:)

Such an incredible experience! The views were amazing. The guides so funny. We laughed all day long. I was afraid of falling into the water but they created a relax environment where my stress went away. I highly recommend this place!

I had never been rafting before, but after my experience on the squamish river with canadian outback rafting i was left instantly wanting to plan my next trip. From start to finish, the trip was absolutely magnificient. Everything from the breathtaking snowcapped mountains, the exhilarating rapids, and our extremely helpful and humorous tour guide alex contributed to an amazing journey I wont soon forget.

This was an excellent adventure. We booked the Elaho Exhilarator and it did not disappoint! Even though it was raining we still had a blast!

From the beginning of the experience they were totally organized and on top of everything. Clear instructions on how to put on all of the gear and what to expect.
The guides were extremely knowledgeable and funny (lots of jokes on the school bus ride to the rafting location)! Once we arrived the guides had a very efficient system to get the boats and people into the water. We felt 100% safe and well prepared in case of any emergency.

Lucas was our guide and he was excellent. He pointed out lots of interesting sights, kept us laughing and challenged us to paddle better together and try getting into the water ("It's an experience we would look back on for years to come" - he's totally right!). The rapids were amazing and way better then we had anticipated. We will do this again with COR for sure! Thank you!

Absolute fun, loved it. The class 3,4 rapids made it v adventurous. The last hour was v slow with no rapids and just slow drifting which made it boring. Our guide jacob was very knowledgeable, friendly, fun to talk to and ensured high safety levels

Canadian Outback is one of the best rafting companies in all of Canada. We took our family (3 generations) on their Cheakamus family trip and everyone loved it. Our guide, Eric, made the whole trip fun! His enthusiasm and sense of humor is contagious and our young grandkids will never forget it. They want to become rafters and paddlers in a major way. Myself and 7 friends went on the elaho experience and had an amazing time. Alejandro, our guide was great fun and explained how to navigate the rapids very well. I could not recommend this tour highly enough!

My family and I had an amazing first time rafting experience today with Canadian Outback Rafting. We did the 5 1/2 hr Wet and Wild Elaho Exhilarator trip. The company was very professional, gave detailed, helpful instructions, and made us feel very safe. From the moment we arrived, everything was so organized and staff were friendly and helpful. Our guide, David, was incredible. I was nervous as a first timer, but he made us feel prepared and confident. He worked hard to ensure we had a fun and exciting time. The water is freezing, but they give you wet suits and booties which help a lot. The views as you go down the river are amazing. It is definitely "wet and wild" - the river has many rapids and you will get wet and your heart will be pumping! You don't need any previous experience- they teach you everything you need to know. These guides are very experienced and I definitely felt like my teenagers and I were in good hands. They even had a guide in a kayak following the rafts for extra safety. I highly recommend Canadian Outback Rafting and hope to go again the next time we are in British Columbia.

Awesome experience. We headed here for a two day trip, the first day was training and paddling through the ‘most extreme’ rapids. I wouldn’t call them extreme at all but it was still very fun. We stopped on an island where we camped overnight and were served steak and salmon cooked over a wood fire. The dinner was absolutely fantastic, i was surprised by how good it was! After some drinks and good times around the fire we went to sleep in the tent and we hopped back in the raft in the morning for a gentle float down the river back to a short bus ride where we gathered our belongings and finished off mid afternoon. I would recommend this trip for people who are not so sure about paddling through some raging rapids ideology.it is not very extreme but at the same time very fun, refreshing, and the guides are good people as well. Thanks for the fun!

If you enjoy nature this is a must experience. Beautiful natural back drop combined with exhilarating ride down the Elaho and Squamish river, You will have a time of your life.

Fantastic experience. The pick up shuttle from Vancouver was on time. The rafting experience was lots of fun! Before the rafting experience, the guide made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. During the experience, we got the chance to jump into the water. I'd definitely recommend this company.

We booked a private group of 8 for the Wet and Wild Elaho Exhilarator. It was such a fun and memorable experience that we still talk about it days after.

A big shout out to our guide, Thomas. He was very patient with us and gave us plenty of opportunity to practice drills. It proved useful when he would sail the raft through all the rapids on the way. He also let us jump off the raft in the safe part of the river and we get to experience what it takes to execute a rescue by pulling someone back into the raft.

I also wanna give a shout out to the other guides as well. They are truly in their elements when on raft. It takes teamwork to ensure everyone's safety. They were always alert, aware and constantly communicating with other guides. When off the raft, they love to crack funny jokes and play some Spanish music. Their camaraderie was infectious.

Shoutout to the bus driver as well. A great singer and photographer. While the ride was as bumpy as the actual rafting, he made it up by giving us a brief mini opera concert. He also snapped some fire photos.

Finally, I wanna give my thanks to the admins. We were warmly welcomed the moment we stepped into their office. They were very reachable and responsive to all my email inquiries.

Don’t think about, just do it. Went on the wet&wild exhilarator rafting past weekend for my birthday and so glad I chose this adventure and the company to do it with. I don’t know how to swim but that didn’t stop me. This team is absolutely best at what they do and very interactive. Expect ~hr for waiting to dress up, driving up in the forestry road to begin your adventure and be on the draft after safety instructions. Each raft has a team of 8 plus the guide, there were about 7-8 rapids and make sure to sit at the front to experience it at the max. The only disappointment I had was there were no photos of our team on the raft where I can see me and my partner. That’s one improvement I recommend. Iced tea and an energy bar were provided half way through the trip. You’ll be on the river for about 2.5hrs and definitely a must do activity!

We had the BEST time on our first rafting experience today! We did the Wet and Wild Elaho Exhilarator and had so much fun from start to finish. We appreciated the shuttle from Whistler village-but it would be worth the drive from wherever you are!

The guides were AMAZING-knowledgeable, friendly and hilarious! They were so thorough in explaining everything from how to put the gear on-to safety procedures and how to paddle. Everything was extremely well organized to efficiently get a large group of people dressed and ready to go!

Our guide, Jack, made us feel so comfortable and safe-enough so that we were able to get off the raft twice (on purpose) and swim in the (freezing cold) river! He was even kind (and strong) enough to haul us all back in the boat after!

The guide’s introductions had us all laughing and made the drive into our drop off spot go so quickly. We really enjoyed Jack’s stories and chats along the way-and we learned more about rafting and other outdoor adventures on the bus ride back (thanks, Austin!)

So glad that my daughter and I booked this as one of our holiday adventures-would HIGHLY recommend taking the time to add it to your vacation plans!

First time rafting not sure what to expect so was nervous at first. But the staff is very friendly and helpful especially our guide Eric. He is very professional and cool, and made everyone relaxed and laughed. We all had a good time. Great experience and recommend it to everyone.

We had never been rafting before, so we chose the family friendly trip, it was awesome, just enough rapids to get a taste of excitement and left us wanting to go back and try the next level! Everything was very well organized and easy from the moment we arrived, the kids had a blast and our guides were super friendly, helpful and ensured we had a great time on the river! We had a fabulous time with COR. It was so much fun and exciting! Will was our guide and he was fabulous. Great stories, exciting rapids, and beautiful scenery! Everyone needs to try this at least once.

Took the family here for their first time white water rafting. They were very nervous and a bit scared. The staff did a great job to amp up the scary-ness level.

Three hours later they couldn’t stop raving about the adventure they had had. Very fun, and organized.

The three hour tour which is geared for families with small children is fantastic.

All the staff were great but the two which stuck out to us were Izzy and Dan (our raft captain).

Danny our guide did such a great job making it fun and personalized for our group!
He did not hold back for us all while kindly and patiently dealing with our shenanigans! We had a few members in our group who were a little nervous to go rafting, but near the end of the day they took to the front of the raft and they were stoked! We all had so much fun and loved looking through at the awesome photos taken of us that we purchased after!

Brought my nephews it's a really fun atmosphere with knowledgable guides. We did the Wild & Wet Elaho Exhilarator. Our crew was absolutely amazing we were in Danny's boat and had Keaton, Carson, & Thomas was our safety kayaker. I highly recommend this company that are fun & outgoing but stress safety. Lots of great rapids, we got tossed out between Aiden's Alley & Avalanche. The safety training came in handy.

Locals from Vancouver, we went on the Elaho rafting trip this past week and had a fantastic time. I hope to return next year for an overnight trip. The guides are entertaining, rafting as a first timer felt very safe and what a beautiful way to explore our own backyard. I can't recommend this excursion enough.

Jacob was an amazing guide; very knowledgeable about the history of the area, so you actually learn a lot, in the midst of paddling and having a SPECTACULAR time getting facefuls of glacial water for a few hours. It’s an exhilarating experience. The team was very professional and made sure that every safety measure was taken. We had no rafts flip or people overboard, and in any case, we were taught how to save others if that were ever to happen, which we practiced when we went in for a swim. It was amazing. The wetsuits kept us very cozy; I could have gone swimming in that river for ages wearing that! Thank you to the Canadian Outback Rafting team for putting together such an all-round memorable adventure. I will be back!

Our rafting experience with Matt as our guide was amazing. He was knowledge and made the whole experience very fun! I would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a fun thrill.

Never been on a raft trip like this before. Was a little apprehensive as i knew someone who.
On one of these.
We thought getting wet suits ect would be a pain. It was VERY well organized with wet suits and all the gear, bus ride ect. Well done canadian outback, we very well maybe back for one of the multi day trips. Thanks for showing how safe and fun white water can be.

Beware! Outback rafting will simply ruin your vacation plan for rafting less than 24 hours in advance if they encounter just a slight inconvenience on their side! I booked Outback rafting originally just because they offered a pick-up service from the village. This was important for me as I neither have a car nor I have a Driver's License. However, after I already arrived to a village, less than 24 hours before my planned rafting trip, their agent called me to notify that they decided to cancel a shuttle because of road construction that delayed a shuttle back to village that day for 45 minutes. They told me that there is no problem with traffic from village to rafting, however return is where delays happen. Well, I said that I am okay with delays, so i still prefer to go. However, they mentioned that shuttle is no longer available. I asked them to pay for my taxi then as a compensation, but they said that this option is not available.what they actually meant was: "We don't care if we ruin your vacation".

So, they offered me 3 options:
#1.re-schedule a rafting trip (this doesn't work for me because I am not planning to return to whistler anytime soon)
#2: refund. (wow! Is this an option LOL? Really? I can legally sue your company if you wouldn't do a full refund)
#3 self-drive (I told them I don't have a car and DL so I can't drive.this would also encounter extra costs for me if i could)

I ended up talking to their manager who was very emotional, unprofessional to their client, lied to me (as their agent was telling me a totally different thing) and he "power talked" to me showing that he will never ever do anything else other than those 3 not suitable for me options. He neither apologized nor tried to be empathetic.

If Outback rafting would have been a good service company they could have done the following:
1. Politely and apologetically offer full refund with a HUGE discount for the next trip (a company that cares about retaining their clients would have done it.sounds like this one doesn't)
2. Propose me to wait till the day of my trip while they would monitor a traffic situation. If traffic is fine, commit to pick me up as promised (BTW! Next day there was no traffic jam at all times, as it seems like this problem was just 1-time thing)
3. Pay for my taxi (do it for clients who have a trip in less than 24 hours with you!)
4. Embrace the road construction, and pick up your clients earlier if traffic is indeed a problem. (I booked another service that actually told me "it usually takes us 20 minutes to go to a location, but it might take us 40 minutes with the road construction". This is a good service company!)
5. FINALLY! They could have asked other travellers to pick us up in their car. (at least they could have thought about it however they chose to be emotional)
At the end Outback rafting made road construction MY problem. So they issued me a refund. Not only did I have 1 of my vacation days ruined I also was very upset after talking to their their client-facing employees. I will ensure to spread a word about this experience to anyone I know.

A fun time out on the rivers. The guides Kay and… (I wish I could remember his name, but he was the lead guide and from Ontario) were clear with the instructions and fun. Both were in full control of the boats and interacted with the kids in our groups.

Oh my! This company and staff are SUPER! Megan (guide), Alex (kayak escort) and Kyle (bus driver and photographer) you guys ROCK! Thank you so much for such a fun and memorable family rafting experience! It was the highlight of our family BC trip! One of the best adventures we’ve had. Keep up the amazingness that you guys exude. Hope to be back to do the thrill when kids are old enough!

Amazing tour with the very best tour guides. Our tour guide, Morgan, was amazing and made it a fun hour and a half. The other tour guides were friendly and funny as well. The adventure itself was out of the world - serene at times in the calm waters and thrilling when we encountered rapids. Would certainly come back again.

Very fun experience and amazing sceneries, thank you Alex and Danny our guides and rest of canadian outback rafting, I had to reschedule due to injury in less than 24 hrs and they did it for me despite their 24 hrs policy, If you drive from vancouver it is a very nice 1-1.5 hrs drive. Totally recommended.

Dan was a great guide. He had good knowledge about the river and the surrounding mountains. We felt very safe with him but I am genuinely concerned over the quality of his jokes!

We had a great trip with Canadian Outback Rafting! Our guides were wonderful, Gabriel and Alex did a great job showing us what we were rafting by, from lichen to the old forest fire watch tower. We really enjoy our trip, I would love to go on another rafting trip with Canadian Outback Rafting

Outstanding experience. We have lived in the area for 20 years and loved the 2 day trip - full of surprises in our own backyard. The rapids were very fun, camping out - so beautiful, the guides were solid! Evan, Lukas and Dylan took care of every detail, we couldn't have asked for more. We took this trip as a family of 5 with three teens and HIGHLY recommend COR!

Great experience! Kids loved it! Adults loved it! Guides are super nice and caring. We had a group of 6 adults plus 4 kids 9-12 years old and one 5 year old. Our littlest one did not like the tight wetsuit and life vest and was a bit cold and hungry as we were putting in. Our guides rallied and found her a granola bar in one of their PFDs, she ate it out on the water and was good to go! They turned what could have been a sad, grumpy experience for her into a great one! Thank you Canadian Outback Rafting!

This was my first time rafting and it was a great experience with Canadian Outback! The guides were very professional and experienced, and the time spent on the river was a so much fun! The additional info from the guides about the river and surrounding landscape really added to the experience and it was a great day from start to finish. Thanks again and I can't wait to be back!

Where do I even start, from the shuttle pick up to the trip back to Whistler village my whole experience with Will was amazing. I really enjoyed the bus ride there and considered it quite adventurous and the water rafting was so amazing and exciting never failed to give me a thrill. Our guide Will made sure me and my partner were always included to letting us sitting in the front and making sure every one of our raft team was able to experience the full rafting fun! He was polite, professional, and funny and not to mention this whole trip made me feel as if it was not some cheap service but more of a family bonding and I loved that how caring and welcoming they are about it. I would recommend this experience with this company to anyone who is looking for a thrill.

A great price to share an adventure.
An easy drive from squamish be careful or you will miss the entrance to their property. Once you arrive everything is taken care of and great covid protocols considering the activity.
The bus ride to the drop in location is pretty fun considering the time in an old bus on a gravel road and the crew made a good effort at humour and entertainment.
After a quick safety briefing you hop in the raft and are in the hands of experienced guides. If you have a goof onboard they may immediately fall and and get swept under the raft to help assure everyone else the guide and kayak support can get you out from under and back into the raft.
The rapids were 2-4 and really fun with the kiwi guide doing a great job to get us I to the funnest stuff. When the river settles we were treated to comedy/stories from our new Zealand guide along with good conversation.
The sights from the river were astounding, a beautiful perspective of BC and a calm connecting place, you can really see and feel why the Squamish settled and thrived in the valley.
The cheeky buggers had us help load the boats and equipment back on the trailer, but at least you are warmed up even after a dip in the rather cold river.
I highly recommend them for a well supported reasonably priced white water rafting adventure, and they are very accessible from the city.

Had a great time rafting with Canadian Outback. All the guides were super nice in getting us fitted in our gear and kept us entertained by being funny (and serious) in their safety speeches. The water and scenery was amazing, spectacular. Matt was our guide and he was friendly and totally nailed it on hitting all the waves, making splashes and making it fun!

Rapids 1-2 are great for families and the crew is amazing, very professional and kind. Highly recommend for families with younger kids but would suggest the stronger rapids for older ones.

I did rafting on August 03 with my wife and friends. Nice experience. Entire staff was very helpful and our guide Evan was awesome.

This is the second time we are going and it was amazing again, is worth every penny for the experience.

We had a great experience on this rafting trip! We have been wanting to do this with the kids for awhile and the family friendly rafting trip was perfect for our 8 and 10 year old. It was also enough action to make the trip fun for us (parents) as well! I really appreciate when a company has the logistics and operations very organized and makes the day go smoothly without stress. This was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to the PNW and was definitely worth stopping in Squamish on the way to Whistler.

A+ fun! Our guide Eli was amazing and made sure we all had such a good time. This is great value for your money!

My family and I (6 total) were visiting Vancouver for the first time and wanted to add a little adventure to our trip. White water rafting with the Canadian Outback Rafting team was the perfect adventure!

Our guide, Danny, was amazing. He was informative and knowledgeable about the history of the First Nations people and their culture, which added to the experience, and he knew how to have fun and test my brothers and me (ages 19-29) with different challenges throughout the trip.

The photos and GoPro footage taken by Jeremy and Danny came out great and were well worth the price (only $90 for everything).

The entire staff was super helpful, professional, and charismatic whether on the bus ride or just small interactions checking gear, etc, which is what I think puts the experience over the top as a must do. I will definitely be recommending this tour to friends and family visiting the area in the future!

It is absolutely worth to drive an hour fronm vancouver to make a fabioulous day with your family or friends. Breathtaking views with pro staff. I will make it again shortly.

We booked the Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator August long weekend (Sunday) the day before, and had an awesome time out on the water. The staff were great, very friendly and enthusiastic to be there (which is nice in a world where not many people are happy where they work).

The bus ride up to the starting point took about 35-40 minutes. Being a logging road it was rough but not too bad as the school bus was fairly new and took the beating relatively smoothly.

Our guide Mariano (Mario) was hilarious. You couldn't be around that guy without feeling good in general. The other guides were great as well. Everyone was knowledgeable, had a confident background in rafting or kayaking, and made us all feel safe.

We may have lucked out with weather, as the water was rolling at a decent clip with no clouds in the sky. The scenery is unbelievable and was almost worth the price of admission on it's own.

I thought about it after the trip, and if you tried to do something like this on your own, it would be so much more than just a hundred some odd dollars; plus when you're done you can ditch the wet suit and they deal with it.

Highly recommended to anybody (I can barely swim and I felt just fine up front in the raft).

The best rafting experience I have taken part in in a long time. Professionally run, fun and friendly staff, great rafting on the Elaho River. Would highly recommend. Free pick up from Whistler as well was a bonus.
