Had a wonderful experience at Canadian tire Salmon Arm. The staff were prompt and helpful. Especially the young male manager. He helped me find what I was looking for and helped me to carry a heavy item out to my vehicle. Much appreciated!

Went in to buy a dog bed, the older lady that checked me out was extremely rude, talked over me and would not answer any of my questions, very disappointed in her costumer service.

Love this particular Canadian Tire Store. Staff is always helpful and positive vibes all round.

OK, so I don't expect this will happen everyday, but after a poor experience with a local dealership, I dropped by CT to get a new battery installed. In and out in less than 1 hour with no appointment. Can't beat that, plus I saved 200$!

And down they go. Canadian Tire is on its way out folks. The products are garbage and the staff don't care anymore. Especially at this location. Too bad, I used to love Canadian Tire.

DO NOT GET TIRES INSTALLED HERE. Eight months and under 1000km later, the back tire on my truck nearly fell off. Upon further inspection one of the bolts was snapped off and the rim was damaged. The manager said it wasn’t their problem, and offered a discount on the labour to fix it… I guess the $1000 for purchase and a defective install wasn’t profit enough. Stick to buying paintbrushes and camping gear here and take your vehicles to actual trained mechanics.

UPDATE: it’s costing me $300 for a new wheel, plus installation (not at CT because I prefer all four wheels to stay on my vehicle while I drive) so yeah, like I said. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Usally has everything you are looking for for a fair price, and take it back if you don't need it or something is wrong.

Organized and helpful. Lots of recreational merchandise. Love the party center! And the discount racks:)

Nothing Canadian about CT. Stop buying from here and putting local shops out of business. All to save a few pennies? Plus the staff are miserable and intolerant.

I really enjoy this store and all they offer plus the awesome sale deals that can be had on tools power tools power washers compressors welders oil and all the everyday stuff on hand You get decent quality at much lower pricing and if you look after your purchase properly (power washer / generator / welder etc) and maintenance as required it will last a long long time! I have been going here since my twenties and have never been disappointed so that says ALOT right there This store has a little of everything and to browse the whole place well you better pack a lunch! Meh, nothing special, typical lousy crampy tire compete with mediocre customer service, staff with bad attitudes, and nothing ever in stock as advertised. Complete with the tag line "OH, we're sold out" ya, on the first day of the sale 10 minutes after opening.

We live about 30 min in between 2 Canadian tire stores. We knew what we needed and checked online to make sure they were in stock and went to salmon arm. Get there and they had none when online said they had 4. Then said they have it and will look. They looked for 5 minutes, the place was a mess and noone knew where anything was. What is the point of having availability online when the store workers can't keep things stocked or know where items are? Wasted an hour driving today for nothing. Will find the item online and just order from amazon.

Cust service is super rude, dont recommend dealing with any of the older ladies they love to talk down to ya

On June 25,2021.
I went shopping at Crampy Tire in salmon Arm with a friend and two ladies from customer service was rude to me and telling me l was shopping lifting when l just bought two things
and waiting for my friend outside the store and it was to hot outside waiting for her and came in and customer service ladies did not say sorry to me at all.
So l called the manager the other day and he was didn't say sorry to me and will never shop there anymore

Nice, clean and bright store. Most everything we wanted was in stock. Lady at checkout was extremely friendly and efficient. Thanks!

Great store lots of good deals and lots of super nice tellers, hard to find a floor person to help at times.

Good store but the pick up in store feature online is terrible. I ordered something at 9 on a Wednesday and went to pick it up at 11 the next and was told it wasn't ready. When I asked how long it could take I was told there was no way to tell. Lady at customer service was absolutely useless and unfriendly. The silver lining is I canceled my order and was able to buy it on Amazon for 300 dollars cheaper. I guess Jeff Bezos will be getting my money.

Stocked up on 1 pound propane tanks and spare mantles for my Coleman lanterns. Very helpful staff and easy to find products.

I bought a lawn mower at the salmon arm store a year ago. It has a 2 yr warranty, well it won't start this year. U called the number to get the warranty and was told I'd have to take it to a repair place 2 hours away. They then told me that the nearest Canadian tire store would send it for me. Ha. The lady at "customer service " un salmon arm was rude and condescending telling me that they don't do that and to enjoy my 2 hour drive. Not very nice customer service if you ask me. I understand if the head office got it wrong and they don't send it for me but being rude and treating me that way was uncalled for.

After opening a boxed power tool, I was told I wasn't suppose to do that. I replied that if there had been one on display I wouldn't have had to. He called someone on his radio and ask what the policy was on customers opening boxes was and said something to me about making sure nothing was taken from the box. From that point on I was watched and made to feel uncomforable enough that I cut my shopping short and paid for the powertool complained to a manager 3tried to justify the behavior and left finishing my shopping at a competitor

The staff was all very nice.
We bought a shed, they helped put it in our truck. Was an easy process.

Over priced fasteners, electrical supplies and so on. Now you are essentially locked in the store upon entry, massive line ups if you do wish to purchase anything, I only go here as an absolute last resort.

Spacious and spotless clean. Staff were eager to help.
They had everything we needed at the right price.

Busy, but the lineup's are fast. Wqrm and clean.
Most people are keeping a good distance.

Clean, not too crowded, lots of Christmas items on sale right now. Low on most Christmas stock but plenty of trees, lights and ornaments. Staff was very friendly.

Way too crowded and too lax on covid prevention, should consider implementing a lower max capacity

Could work on efficiency of getting people through till and making sure departments have the people with that knowledge

Want to give dennis in parts a 5 star for for his amazing customer service and looking after a customer. Canadian tire online were completely unprofessional at looking after my online order I was waiting for for almost 3 weeks. Then they canceled my order saying my product was unavailable when the site said 3 in stocks. When I called and talked to Dennis he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Very happy now, thx Dennis

Just want to write about dennis the auto parts manager in the salmon arm store. He went above and beyond to help my husband after an online purchase we made 3 weeks prior was cancelled due to unavailability.
When we did the online purchase there was 3 items in stock, about 2 weeks after purchase his money was returned to our visa. When we called head office they said it was all still good and purchase would be in the store on the 27th and sometimes the payment shows back on the account and then taken again.
One week after the call we got an email the said order cancelled. We were very upset as we ordered a plow blade for our vehicle and once order was confirmed we went out to get clients for the winter.
When we called denis at the store he rectified the situation for us and gave us a better plow at a discounted price.
Thank you dennis there are 25 customers that will be happy this winter.

Makes you not want to go back. Hope my purchase works. If it is this hard to make my purchase returning it will be a nightmare. Terrible customer service

Usual Canadian Tire, store is fairly easy to navigate. If you have a question it's usually fairly easy to find an employee and if they don't know they'll find someone who does.

Thank you for being pet friendly! Your staff who we talked with did not seem like the friendliest bunch however you get a 5 star as you had what I needed in stock while we drove through town and your are pet friendly!

Was camping near Salmon Arm, when our air mattress deflated overnight! Went in to this location, found an awesome replacement for a really great price. Staff is friendly and helpful! Store is well maintained, and super clean!

I used to love Canadian tire, was the best store in my eyes, now? A sad excuse of a franchise, I've never seen worse management instore, clearly the staff is clearly under paid (can tell by how they hold themselves and their "just kill me now" look in their eye) dont bother ordering online to pick up in store because they're stock is never right, bought damaged goods unknowingly and was refused return due to torn packaging. One of the worst Canadian Tires in BC. Will No longer be a Customer or recommend people shop there

Customer service is nice and hard working, but If you so happen to buy a bike from Canadian Tire and it needs repair or replacement, I do not suggest bringing it into Salmon Arm location. We indicated our problems (all manufacturers defects) and they told us they would repair or replace the bike upon evaluation and call me. They did NOT call when the bike was ready, ie. I had to call in. They did NOT show me the problem and how it was fixed despite telling me it was; AND the defects were never fixed! I am currently dealing with Vernon and they have given me such good service! So if you need repair, I 10/10 suggest going to Vernon instead. ALSO, a good tip is calling ahead and seeing if the manager of the department is available because customer service will send you directly to them if you show up!

My go to store for most everything I need, best to go there web page and find what isle things are on. Hard to find help sometimes

Lots to choose from like car parts, toys, furniture, electronics, wall-paint and even holiday decorations. Lots of friendly staff just a massive abundance of product.definitely go! I wanted to get into soldering and building electronics so I went to Canadian Tire and bought a tool kit, with a soldering iron, some wires, batteries, and so on.

What a aweful policy ct has about walking a customer up to the till for any items locked behind glass, Feel like a criminal Wow ever since they put that in i rarely go there and the ungrateful cashiers not even saying thank you till i said your welcome.and hearding people through customer service like cattle.it will be even rarer that i even go there again it really is black friday for ct it will go the way of sears.operator #105 float 001 trans ;70 thursday nov 21/19 12;09pm

Do NOT ORDER ONLINE AND HAVE IT SHIPPED TO THIS STORE! We went to pick up a paintball gun the same day that we were told it was available and upon trying to pick it up, we were told that they didn’t have it because it was STOLEN. The same thing happened to my brother when we went to pick up two ladders. Not sure what is happening in the warehouse, but Canadian Tire is also not taking responsibility for what is going missing from their warehouse. Left trying to get a credit from VISA coverage. Salmon Arm Canadian Tire needs to figure this corruption out and provide an acceptable level of customer service.
