I’m not a big fan but my grandpa loved this store. He’s American and thinks this is the best place ever.

Worst shop service around. They don't even accept their own warranties and literally lie to the customers. Support your local mechanics and not these corporate scammers.

Wow! The Canadian Tire Store in Duncan is well stocked! I love all Cdn Tire Stores ever since my dad took me to my very first one, in North York, ON. I was 6yrs old, lol.
Hours for Duncan store: 8am to 9pm M-S and 9am to 6pm, Sunday.

Food is always great!
and the staff are really warm and attentive. We love this place for our breakfast and lunch

Tried to upsell me on an oil change when it wasn't needed. Went for a tire patch. They didn't find a leak but changed the valve and seal. Was still leaking, took it to Integra tire and they found a screw a hole and a piece of metal. Patched it and tire is fine. Very disappointed in canadian TIRE

It's a store what can I say.some prices are reasonable some aren't. Fishing section sucks big time for fresh water fishing.some of the aisles are crowded, it's a place where pets are allowed some staff are friendly some aren't.

It was a bit difficult to find what I was looking for here. There were lots of young staff hiding in random places making puppies but no one helping customers

Received wonder help purchasing wipers for my SUV. The young man even came out and replaced them for me. I'm so very grateful for his kindness and service.

Staff is great at this location. No problems giving me a sale price on an item that the sale just ended on

Another great experience at Canadian Tire Duncan. Lots of stock and helpful employees working the day I was here. Bought a sump pump exactly what I was looking for seems to be good quality and works well highly recommend Canadian Tire Duncan

Huge Canadian tire, loads of stuff for your home, sometimes it even feels like there is too many options of one thing that yiu need, but that's a good thing right.

In a Hugh store I think there were only 3 staff on duty on the floor who were not too knowledgeable. I wasted 45 minutes and couldn't find what I needed

Good customer service but overpriced ($12.00) for a small piece of plastic. I only shopped there as I needed something right away. Next time I will go to home Depot.

Merchandise is well displayed in wide isles with helpful friendly staff. My go to place for all kinds of household items at a good price.

Awesome customer service and when I needed help looking for something they helped me right away. Unlike the ones in Victoria. Duncan Canadian Tire is the best one.great job guys keep up the good work. I definitely appreciate the help and I look forward to coming back here anytime. Even if I have to spend a little extra gas it's worth the trip. ️

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. At times though a little group can be seen gathering at a counter. Then customers are then ignored or the staff go temporarily blind. I like to check out the house plants they have a good selection 95% of the time.
Today there were discounted plants most had not been watered for days, in very rough shape. Give them away. They leave a poor impression of that department.
Bought some camping lights 6.99 including batteries. The batteries were included as a buying feature. The batteries are dead.

Every Canadian tire associate I asked a question to. They knew where to direct me, if not they assisted me till we found another associate to help.
That's going past ones duties.

I had a lug nut torque off while on my way to Duncan. Even though it was a Sunday, Scott in service talked me through what needed to be done, found the parts and squeezed me in on the Monday to get me back on the road. Hugely grateful as I had animals at home needing me—and now as a forest fire has started nearby, my getting home quickly was critical. Thank you Scott and team. First rate customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff here at the Duncan store, made finding what I was looking for so much easier! Great selection and prices too.

Well, it was everything I wanted and more. I only went in for wood chips for my smoker and ended up getting a deal on a huge water bottle and a cookie sheet. Can't go wrong!

I ordered a log splitter online. Team members were very friendly and helpful loading it into my vehicle when I arrived for pick up. Seamless shopping experience. Thanks guys!

Was leaving Vancouver Island first thing in the morning the next day to visit my unwell Dad in Kelowna. Before loading our camper on Sunday afternoon, we noticed we had a leak in our left rear tire on our 2018 GMC 1 ton.
I called Scott at the Canadian tire service department and he told me that he could get us in right away. I was at Canadian tire within 20 minutes and within one hour I was out with a patched left rear tire as well as he also rotated all four tires for us to ensure we were to get on our trip the next day. I could not ask for better service from Scott and his crew in the Canadian tire service department.
Would not hesitate for a moment to go back to this service center.

Treat me like a thief every time I go in there since I have same traits as one cause of adhd. I spend alot of money on most times I go in. Usually for 1 thing and always ends up being more. I'm sick of the employees going to try find another place just hard to find prices the same.

I cannot shop at the View Royal location, tired of incompetent staff. Not all but a few I could name. Langford has the best outdoor enthusiast section and helpful staff. Also only CT that sells real firearms not just pellet guns.

Most of the time our experience is great and we usually only go their for something specific and are happy with it. However most of their products are cheaply made, don't last and are over priced. Also the website is always slow and phone service does not work inside the store. Not a fan of the employees that have a station set up in the middle of the store to hound you about signing up for their credit cards.

Was utter shocked at how horrible the customer service was.
Grabbed a can of paint that had a price of 15 dollars on the shelf and when i went to cash out it was 24.99. They refused flat out to give me the price that was on shelf so i thought maybe i was wrong and went back to the shelf looked at it and they were there 15.99 went back to teller and not onyl did they not give me the price they refused to send someone to the shelf to see the price. Will never recommend anyone to this plc they made me feel as if i was liar and wouldnt even try to see if the shelf price was what i said.
Worst exp i ever had in a store, i have been a return customer there for years and will never go back without a apology and correction on the way staff handle customers

Purchased a Bissell rug shampooer 5 months ago. In that time it has broken down twice after about 6 uses on normal spot cleaning on a normal carpet. I took it back, not requesting a refund, just a different machine. The manager refused saying it was under the mfr's warranty and said to take it to "ABC" vacuum dealer. I did that, they do not do Bissell warranty work. Back to Can. Tire, she gives me another vacuum dealer. Off I go, nope, they don't do it either. I can't afford to throw $300 in the garbage. If you're not going to stand behind the products you sell at least give correct advice regarding warranty work. Never again!

Costumer service was kind, but the quality of work is pretty unfortunate. I got my tires done here, but jeez they don't know what they're doing. I wouldn't trust them with anything more technical then torquing lug nuts.

Its canadian tire. You can get alot of household supplies and tools. Easy to get lost searching for what you want. I generally rely on using the app/ website as it tells you what isle the item is in.

I love our local Canadian Tire store in Duncan, BC. Well arranged and the plant section and indoor plant selection is amazing!

With covid going on I have been Shopping online and found that it's very efficient, the website works well, I get exactly what I ordered, if the item is in stock it's ready in a couple of hours at most and I'm sent a text or email to pick it up, or you can have it delivered if you prefer, but it's so simple to pick it up in the store it's really not a big deal, all the staff are friendly and organized as is the store I usually end up shopping while I'm there and I'm not much of a shopper, so all in all it's a good experience at Duncan Canadian Tire.

Terrible experience… got new tires this last winter, and the tires are great but they didn’t even wipe them off or clean them. Dirty handprints all over them. Then I found out my friend got the same tires from somewhere else for $400 cheaper! I also got my ac recharged and they completely messed it up. It worked fine before and after the service it stopped working on one side and now doesn’t work at all. When I called to discuss it the lady there argued with me on the phone and was super rude. It’s only gotten worse with time and I wasn’t able to go back within the 90 days for them to look at it again as their hours didn’t work with my work schedule and I had to take a day off to have the appt in the first place. I filled out the customer service questionnaire and told them what happened but never heard back from anyone about it. $300 down the drain for them to make my ac worse and now I’ll have to pay to take it somewhere proper to get it fixed. I won’t be going back to Canadian tire… ever.

Staff are very helpful at this good ole Canadian Tire - the wide selection of reasonably priced consumer goods you've come to expect from Canadian Tire. Good quality outdoor furniture at a reasonable price, which we were looking for. Needed the handy utility trailer to haul all the goods, including recycling all the cardboard!

What an amazing store! I loved the wide isles and all the fun stuff inside! Check out the birds nests in the “parts & service” sign outside, too cute!

I did my online shopping before i left courtenay, drove through nanaimo then to North Cowichan. I required a cargo net. The website said they had them they did not, the response from the store was it was not their fault as they are an independent franchise. Not impressed with the response or service.

Typical Canadian Tire great selection of stock Great sales lots of parking, Garden centre, tools, hardware, car parts if it sold food I wouldn't have to shop any other store. Its the best store I know. I love Canadian Tire!

Always my go to store. However this time for plants I found quite a few not priced and very inconvenient to get around the outdoor area. Line up hard to get to and a big hose right in the way making it difficult to get carts up and over in path of line up and second part of plant area - the fellow in the wheelchair had a hard time too. This was both times I was there.

I took my brand new, high performance Tesla model 3 in to get my summer tires installed on my wheels. I mention the car model because I would think a car of that value should be treated with extra care. The technician that did the work painted the wheels to mark where they came off of the car and the paint was left on the wheels. When the balancing weights were removed, the adhesive backing was left on the wheel. The tool that was used to remove the weights scratched my wheels. The service manager told me that painting the wheels was their policy and that they weren't going to change their policy. He also said removing the adhesive was a difficult job and they don't do that (I easily removed it with glue remover that they sell in the store). I haven't gone in to talk about the scratches because arguing is stressful! I hope the store owner has a solution and addresses it here!

I have a 1967 sports car. Sometimes servicing and parts are a challenge. Mark and his crew are terrific. Great service, fair prices. Always meet their commitments

Mostly all good but directive to garden seeds not precise enough. I needed to here that they were at the entrance going into the till lane. I just heard "garden seeds up at the till". Confusing and time eating.

I love going here.they have so much nice stuff what ever I need it's there the people that work there treat you nice as well what more could one ask for at least they make me feel part of

I can usually find everything I need in the garden department but left disappointed today. Some usual favourites are not in stocks.

Great store love coming here. Only problem was I could not find anyone on the floor to get directions to what I was looking for. The people on shift were practically running about so likely were understaffed that day.

Staff are friendly and helpful.
But sometimes the isles are very crowded with what I assume are boxes left from stocking.

Great, friendly service at the auto parts dept. But, don't be fooled by the name. Many goods and services, including key cutting.

I love going in here for my hunting gear and ammo (when its in stock) and also being able to bring my dog in is a bonus. Only thing I would recommend would be to try to get some new stock in the hunting section

Like Canadian tire products. They are not very helpfull when it comes to furniture section. The younger kids working in housewares were a little clueless about customer service, and one of the customer service cashiers is extremely rude on several occasions to several people but I think that's on her not the company itself. The service in the garden center Nd bikes is great. Website is kind of glitchy. Love their products and supporting local inventors. I prefer shopping Canadian tire, but don't enjoy going through the check outs.

Sales lady at the service department is very ignorant & rude.offering me zero solutions & chastising me (the customer) about my vehicle.needs to do less talking & more listening.if i was management she would be clearing her desk prior to the end of the day.how can you call yourself Canadian Tire, yet refuse to help a regular customer in need.all i needed was a replacement valve stem installed & when it was recommended i replace the tire as well. (shocker) I was then refused service because none of my sizes were in stock.regardless of an order placed for tires i still would not be able to have my valve stem replaced.so what am i supposed to do now? Thankfully there's Walmart a stones throw away & they were more then happy to assist with the installation of my valve stem, free of charge too! They ordered me a new set of all weathers that I'll be collecting later this week.
Canadian Tire just lost a valuable customer today.

Whether it was incompetence or just straight up dishonesty, this Canadian Tire service section wouldn’t honor my car battery warranty. The battery was clearly dead. I handed it to one teenager, when I asked how long it would take to test, his overlord at a nearby desk interrupted to claim it would take “at least 7 hours”. I gave them all day. They didn’t call. The next day I had to call them and go in to pickup my battery. A different teenager got out the tester and said the battery tested “good”. I was $hit out of luck.
I bought a new multimeter and spent every spare moment of the next week trying to troubleshoot an alternative electrical problem (which, as a full time single dad without a functioning car, was an enormous pain in the a$$)
I finally was able to borrow a different battery and the problem was immediately rectified. With this borrowed battery I was finally able to bring the obviously, completely dead battery to a different Canadian Tire location (in Victoria). The test took about 30 seconds (and included a print out of the test, which was suspiciously not provided at the Duncan location), the warranty was honoured and within 15 minutes I had a new battery.

It should also be mentioned that most of the staff and customers at the Duncan CT were not wearing masks, and many appeared to scoff at my choice to do so. The Victoria CT took many more precautions in this regard, including prevalent mask use and a hand sanitizer station.

Spent over $1,000 on new tires.
When I picked up my truck after having them installed, there was wheel grease all over my wheels and tires.
Very sloppy, they could not take 2 minutes to clean them off.

Canadian Tire has super sales, but even their regular prices are the best. But the reason I'm rating this store is because of the customer service. Without getting into too much detail, they have always been SO GOOD to me! Love shopping here!

After my son complained of Scott the head manager and how badly he treats his staff and workers it sounded he verbal abuse and assault.
My son and I are reaching out to the business bureau.
AVOID THIS PLACE!
