Bad service from the garage department, lack of empathy for customer’s unfortunate situation. Refused to refund faulty portable jump starter unit, ended up with credit for local store after his self-contradicting statement, hence, giving this refund credit to friend in Canada since there is no Canada Tire presence in US - I suppose this is a good thing. My first and last time in Canada Tire. Hope this is exception case. Posted similar review in Markham store which was by mistake. This poor experience was at Richmond store.

Thanks John Gilinias (service manager) in the automotive service department. He is obnoxiously loud and aggressive towards customers. Avoid this garage if you can, clearly inept. Canadian Tire WILL NOT honor warranty work and will gauge you wherever they can. Sorry bunch at this location.

False commitments, Very bad experience. I purchased a NINJA food processor and the store guaranteed me price match till BLACK FRIDAY and now, they have reduced the price but not matching my price back. They just want to sell products and are not customer oriented. Fake commitments. Will never purchase from Canadian tire.

I picked up a CANVAS Pre-Lit Piedmont Fir Christmas Tree, 1000 Micro-Brite LED Lights, 7.5-ft from Canadian tire on No. 3 road a couple days ago. Just my luck, the lighting on the tree was defective so I had to bring it back to Canadian tire to exchange for a new one. I called and spoke to a Canadian tire staff member prior to bringing the defective tree back to give them a heads up. The exchange process was easy and the staff that helped with my exchange were friendly. We are very happy with this beautiful tree!

They don't honor booked appointments. Got there 15min before my appt - on time. Then heard from the responsible on duty - "Oh I left you a voice mail because this appt wont work for us". Worst costumer service experience.

Terrible experience at this particular store. The staff appears disinterested and unwilling to help. The manager who was on duty at the time, by the name of Chris, was especially unprofessional, rude, and dismisses our concerns with a condescending tone. This overall lack of attentiveness and poor communication contributes to a frustrating customer service experience.

Had a couple of keys cut here recently but, they turned out to be the wrong ones. Ralph in auto parts replaced them for me right away. Great service! Thank you Ralph!

I had a great experience at Canadian Tire! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The positive attitude of the staff made my visit enjoyable, and I appreciate the excellent customer service.

Richmond Canadian Tire is located next to the future Capstan Station. Like all Canadian tires, the shop sells various tools, machines, and everything you will need for your household, outdoor needs, DIY projects, toys, scooter, skateboard, bike and bike accessories, of course, it includes a car repair factory. Overall, most Canadian tires will have everything of what you need. Well, transportation is also convenient, such as buses and skytrains and many shops are around this store. I will recommend this store.

Poor customer service & liars. I went in to buy a duplicolor paint pen, their website showed 12 in stock @ this Richmond location. I was at the front of line so the cashier assisted me first, but he didn't attempt to look for the the paint pen (in the shelf behind him) until 15mins later after helping two other customers behind me. Took him an additional 10mins to look through the shelf and told me there's none in stock. Did you even try, bro? I told him i saw online there's stock and he told me that it's not up to date and that it takes up to 1 whole week for their system to update inventory levels, lol. Every other CT store stocks these paint pens in the aisles, these guys hide them away like they're made of gold. What a joke and waste of time.

NEVER go to this store again! Terrible experience! I shopped at this CT for only 35 min on a Monday morning and I got a parking ticket when I returned to my car. It's about 8: 50 in the morning and only 10-15 cars in the lot. I don't understand why CT hire Royal Parking with worst reputation to fine its own buying customers. Anyway, WON'T to to this store or any other CT again.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with extremely rude customer service at Canadian Tire.
When I asked questions about a product, I was met with a negative and rude attitude. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism from a store's customer service. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning.

I came for a tire change and the experience was not good. I booked and purchased tire online but found the store price was cheaper by $27 per tire. Also the manager kept saying "I need to get paid, I need to get paid, I need to get paid? " As a customer, I did not feel they cared about providing the best pricing and it appeared that the manager wanted me to pay higher price. I decided to cancel the online order and pay the discount price at the store but the manager tries to penalize me by saying my vehicle will be moved down the list despite having booked time a week in advance. Overall the customer service is not great especially for what you are paying. Planning not to return.

Good sales, not too much on sale, when shopping on August 8th we got a parking ticket, why cost me a 102 dollars bad for your business

I bought a battery for my car but it did not fit. I went to the store this morning for an exchange. The manager of the auto dept was extremely rude. The battery was returned, but he refused to sell me a new one. When we talked about this issue, he yelled at me and swore, even using the F word multiple times. I used to like Canadian Tire and have been shopping there for more than 20 years. His behaviour is completely unacceptable and severely damaging to the reputation of Canadian Tire. I highly discourage people from shopping here.

I had a deflated tire. Went in first thing in the morning at 9: 00. Ahmed and the repair crew fixed the tire and I got the vehicle back in two hours. Although they were very busy that day, the service was still delivered properly.
Sunday is a little bit slow comparing to the workdays maybe because the managers are not on site.

A smaller store but it seems quite tidy and organized. The Christmas decorations are slowly taking over the shelves so they look a little bare at the moment. You can find most emergency supplies here. Make sure to check their website first to see if they have it in stock so you can save yourself a trip.

Purchased helium balloons from here for a birthday party. In less than 24 hours, they began to fizz out. What a joke. Don't buy balloons from here.

Went to return an item within the time frame, however I was immediately shut down and was discriminated by employee named Narseen claiming that a return is not possible even though it was later confirmed by the manager that it was. As a visible minority who is fluent but does not have perfect English, I tried to ask her nicely why it’s non-refundable when it should’ve been. She then aggressively threw the item back at me and told me to read the terms and conditions on the back of the receipt in a very rude and degrading tone. Manager Ralph then came to help and thanks to her I was able to get my refund. Narseen behaviour was unacceptable and needs to be reviewed, especially in a company that claims to celebrate diversity.

They damaged my box! And insulting staff!
I bought this and tried to return it. The staff said that once it's been used, I can't return it. I brought the box to the store and put everything back (just as in the original package). However, after they checked my item, they returned to me with this ruined package! And the staff are rude too. They said they have no time for this! Very very disappointed!
