The store has been changed around a bit. Looks better, brighter, cleaner. I enjoy shopping there.

Thank goodness they're not doing self check out. That's the day I quit shopping there.

This is our go to place to purchase garden & RV supplies. We always find what we need.

Amid the turmoil of an extensive revamp at this store, I want to give a shout-out to Tim and Tara. Took two visits amid all the chaos to try and find a particular light fixture. Tim searched above and beyond on my first trip and, when it couldn't be located, offered to order it for me. When I made a second trip several days later to place the order, Tara was able to source the fixture. Excellent customer service under trying conditions. Good job! Thank you!

This place is irresponsible and makes customers waste their time.
They don't check where to fix it, they don't explain to customers I've had it repaired three times, but they always repeat that there was no part.
They always return the car to the customer without repairing it.
When I return the car, it always pretends it's been repaired, but when I get the car and check it, it's always broken.
Young managers are always irresponsible when it comes to having their cars repaired, even though they can't explain the problems with their cars.
They seem to be waiting for the time to get off work rather than thinking about repairing the car.
It's a stupid waste of time to repair them here.

Worst customer service ever, as usual at this location. The staff doesn't even care you're there.if it wasn't for customers they wouldn't have a job in the first place. How come in a store full of mostly employees they can't focus their attention to the customer? They just stand around talking, turning their back on you to talk to other employees, don't greet you, they walk in pairs and gossip loudly, yell at eachother from across the tills. It feels like a major inconvenience you're even there. Absolute $#! + show.

They were out of stock on a few things, sadly. I've found for any CanTire you have to call and confirm stock is in if your item lists only a couple of your item in stock. Often the last few are sold already and the system doesn't register it.

Dirty and disorganized. Was looking for a specific tool - online system said two available but of course there was none in stock. Will stick with Amazon

Garden center was slow. Selection was limited and I got sprayed by water. Still the best sadly.

One of the best places to look around and find deals. It's a great place for gifts and odd tools.

With this new rule allowing people to bring dogs into store I will not be using Canadian tire, why should my grandchildren be in fear of someone’s dog while I spend my money in your store, stores are for paying customers, leave pets at home

Great.my favorite store. Something new.an online order pickup box. Have your printed order confirmation or use your smart phone and it will scan your QR code and the box with your item will pop open. Very simple and you won't need assistance. It is green and located right by the tills. Great idea. I think this idea might catch on.

Customer service rep in the reruns department was a utter joke ; rude ; Belligerent towards myself an another customer.

At checkout I was prompted to pay credit or debit, I submitted cash, the cashier scoffs at my money! Rude older woman.if she is going to be judging me by my method of payment or attempting to embarrass me In front of the other customer waiting in line she shouldn’t be working the tills. I believe this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this worker

I bring to car to the shop to get a new set of winter tires, it was shiny and clean when I got there. After they’re done with it, got some damage on the rim and super dirty. Cost 120$ for labour for 40 minutes of work. This is very upsetting me

Canadian tire is a amazing shopping experience. Alway's a exceptional selection & deal's to be had in all departments. My personal favorite's are Housewares (cooking & bake ware) & their Garden Center. The have the best selection for all seasonal holidays - amazing. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Pleasant place to shop

Little bit mad with Canadian Tire! Went to their website looking for a portable safe! Found one the right size! Checked availability, & said they had one on hand; went to the store to buy! Went to Isle & location were it was as supposed to be! Couldn't find one, approached a employee to see if he could locate! Talk about a irritable person! Thought employees are there to help customers find what they are looking for! But this one didn't even want to help! Tried to find another employee to help couldn't find one close by! Tried asking him again! One of the reasons I give Canadian Tire a 2 star rating out of 5, because employees like that shouldn't be near or on the floor in that kind of mood

Tried calling customer service and it took forever to figure put if they have 5gallon buckets nobody answered than they picked up the phone to hang it up

He also suggested we contact Canadian Tire main office about this matter so that it can be dealt with at the national level. I've always had good service and experiences with CT! Over the last 35 years, not only is it one of the first shopping centers I go to for almost all my typical needs, I also worked for them as a red seal ticketed mechanic for about 15 of those years. Their tools, 'Maximum' for example, are excellent and very innovative. Good guarantees, warranty never an issue! I highly recommend them. My rating would be '5.5'!

This is a review for the garden centre. I called 4 times because the people answering the phone didnt know how to transfer to different departments when they didnt know the answer. Obviously the people i spoke to were trying to help but even the person in the plant or seasonal department didnt know what an echinacea was.i was kind of hoping the person answering the phone would be capable of answering the question specific to their department. They were suoer nice and i totally understand that its difficult when people call, but why have a phone if its not helpful.

I've never been spoken down to in such a rude tone by employee in my life. I was in the As Seen on TV section and saw a strange looking item on the shelf and picked it up. The employee said something like 'Why are you touching my device? ' I said 'I'm sorry I didn't know what it was. ' It did not look like a tablet to me and was on the shelf. But my apology wasn't good enough for him, he continued to go on about touching other peoples things and shaming me. I had to walk away because it was abusive. This employee needs to learn some manners. I would never talk to another person like that, let alone a customer.

We all know how C. T.is it's not bad it's k. But most of these stores could have more customer service we all know don't blame it on the pandemic. C. T I like going in.

I bought a hanging basket today. No signage but, the staff member said $19.99. However, it rang in at $25.99. I took my receipt into the store, the garden manager came only to say ' No. $25.99.sorry ' and walked away!
#1 The staff should be held accountable for quoting an incorrect price. #2 The Manager needs a refresher on customer service and tact.
I found her demeaner very dry and unfriendly.

I can’t say I’ve ever reviewed a department store before, but this location always goes above and beyond to help. The store is always clean and well-stocked, the staff are friendly, funny, and courteous, and it’s never too busy when I go in. This is my go-to place for everything I need around the house.

I started by trying to buy a sale item in our local Courtenay store. They didn't have 8item, so I asked if someone could contact a nearby store and inquire if the item was available. A call to the Campbell River store proved fruitful and they agreed to hold it for me. When I got to CR, the clerk knew about the hold, but, it took a wh6to find. In the end, this was one of the best experiences I have had with Canadian Tire.

Although the selection is fine, and people are nice, there is no way to effectively social distance in the store.
There are no directional aisles, although the aisles are narrow. The till area is very crowded, meaning you must walk through a big crowd to leave, or stand in a long crowded line to pay. I was very disappointed when I visited recently. Only go if you want the plague.

Everyone was very courteous and helpful. The line ups were long but the efficient staff got everyone through in a timely manner

Got what I needed bar 1 item oil for my ATV the binoculars on sale at the sport area couldn't get anyone to help so I checked out.

Greedy service department workers were so slow. If they are charging me per hour why they are fixing other cars at the same time by holding my work. Terrible service. Air Conditioner of my car was not working took 2 hours and they could not find what’s wrong with it. At the end, told me to change the compressor charged me $322 just for could not find anything. Horrible service by canadian tire going to contact Canadian tire main office to get my money back!

Sales are pretty great and finding a staff member is usually pretty easy. Wide variety of items to choose from.

I will say the staff are all over the place

My partner and I walk everywhere. We used to frequent Canadian tire until the other day when they made a new rule about men wearing backpacks. I say men, because my partner and I were both wearing backpacks and he was asked to leave his at the front and when I asked if I needed to as well they answered no. We both carry our personal belongings such as our keys, wallets, extra bags and inhalers in our packs and I felt very frustrated that a store would make only my boyfriend remove his, but have no issues with ladies extra large purses or my backpack. We both have stopped being Canadian Tire customers and will remain that way. We have buying power and choose to use it where it feels right.

My local, "2nd home away from home. "my love for CT has been a long one. " 2 things stick out the most, service and especially return or exchange of products, something happens a product breaks and with your receipt you op in to exchange it or refund it. This is handled immediately upon coming in to the store. It's so so simple. This return policy Is the best in practice as it is in real life. And from a loyal customer of 30 + years this service policy should be implemented throughout all such big box stores. Really, " please the customer and you'll have business from them for life. " SR

Bought a fireplace/entertainment center all in one setup today, was supposed to pick up at 1PM an hour before we are suppose to pick it up I received a voice mail saying that "we may not like the item" we call back to be told that the lady that called us IMMEDIATELY went on break after putting a call out telling us to call her back so we call back to be told to call AGAIN in 30 mins which then would put us at 1PM (our original pickup time) to see if you guys even have the item that you were suppose to put on lay away hours before this incident.this is a HORRIBLE experience and I will never be buying anything from your company ever again. Hopefully not all your locations are unorganized as this, not to mention any employee walking down your isles has zero knowledge on your store.zero help from any staff finding an item that was clearly on your online store.

I love that I can bring my dog in here. The staff are very friendly and the garden centre is well taken care of with a wonderful selection.

You might think this a bad review, because they put the wrong oil filter in, my engine blew up. But Cody made sure everything was fixxed like new. Replaced mortar with new one. Then made sure we were happy with free oil changes for life of car. On top of that free car to use while they fixxed it. Thanks Cody.

My friend went to Canadian tire to fixed his bike and they said it will take 1-2 weeks to fix it he requested it but the staff was so rude. My friend said they were treating him very disrespectful way. My friend has to go to work by bike because he is on his L and waiting for road test in December. I never commented on any bad service but next day my friend went to work without having bike fixed because they denied to fix soon. Therefore, he had to face a problem of small accident. It could be bigger accident.

You have to admit Canadian Tire has a huge selection. Nothing to complain about other than the Overseas import smell of products. Their automotive section is great for selection. One thing they could do to improve service to have enough cashiers at the tills. Nothing is worse than being treated like sheep in a narrow line up and then they only open up 2 cashiers to make the lineup wait time very annoying. It's a sign they only care about money.

Good product selection with a auto mechanic shop built right in it. You can find some ridiculously good deals here. Also a good place to get your oil changed

Got new winter tires and wheel alignment is done from Campbell River store. Great staff and great customer service from the auto department (Andrew) and the very nice lady on Customer service on service.

We found out I needed one new wheel Andrew called me up and ask me to come over by the time I got there he already has found a replacement wheel in some local 2nd hand shop and brought in so I don't have to wait.
