CanaDream RV Rentals & Sales Vancouver

The whole experience was fantastic. It was a great time of year to travel, most roads weren’t busy and plenty of space at any campground day that were open! Special to see the Rockies in winter time.
The rental we had was very new and really well setup for the cold! Will be coming back for sure

Everything went perfect for us. Booking was easy. On arrival everything was explained well and the RV was in perfect condition. Camping chairs could probably easier be brought at Walmart or something and leveling blocks weren't needed as all camping spots were leveled. Staff was really friendly. When we had a small question help was easy to reach. On return everything went quick and well. Can really recommend them.

Great camper and very nice people. We opted to get the “platinum package” with our RV and were very happy with that since we locked ourselves out of the RV on the first night and all those expenses were covered by that package. Pick up and drop off were very convenient and fast. RV was very new and clean. All in all would recommend!

Firstly, I will start with the best parts about the van.
We got a DVC Van (Ford transit) for 6days and paid approximately $2700 CAD.
Engine, Generator and battery-
Were all really great- it was easy to drive, especially around the bumpy back roads of Victoria Island. The van held really well navigating thru the roads, had alot of torque going up hills. Easy to drive.
The Front screen with navigation and android auto was also really good.
The seats that turned into the bed was really comfy, the fridge was nice and large. Storage was really good- blankets were warm. The blinds are really good.

Secondly, I will list the things that only deserved a 3star.
Design, it seems as if the design of the van inside is very old school, there was a TV which was great coming back on the ferry, however it is still attached to a DVD player?
Tips- to bring your own firestick and upload with movies for late nights.
Main panel board - to show levels of grey/Blake water etc- it is an old panel type- unfortunately the technology is about 20yrs old.
For a complete run through, you need to pay for it. And it seems as if this company will try everything to find faults for you to pay. Take as many photos as possible before your trip, of van and mileage.
Grey tank doesn't have much space, will be full in only 2days.
We also purchased the premium package, coffee/toilet paper etc- wouldn't reccomend it for the 6days as we hardly used it. Towels were white, not the greatest when we go to the beach. Cutlery and plates were glass, - overhead storage needs latches as the roads were bumpy and kept opening with plates and cups falling out.
Shower water was only warm for approx 6min, and then it will go cold.
Shower doors not functional for someone of a larger size. One turn and it will open the door, with water spillage all over the floor.
Blackout curtains seemed like a bulk order of one size fits all. Canadream app needs an update and full of bugs.

In a nutshell, this Van's "bones" was functional, had power and backup electricity. 20yrs ago, this van would of the best in its field.
Unfortunately, the design and practicality wasn't good.
My reccomedation is to spend the little bit more $ on a van that is designed with love and colour and practicality. Look at technology, and ease of van functions.
We are grateful we learnt alot, however we would most likley go somewhere else next time.

Very professional organization, well organized and friendly staff. Pickup and drop off were very easy and pleasant. Good automation in place to support their processes. RV was absolutely great, low mileage, everything worked and we did not have any issues. 5 star experience!

Great experience. Vans are high quality and reliable. Check in and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend for your next RV vacation. We will rent again.

Hated the experience, please avoid if you don't wanna get scammed in the end while returning the car.

The staff is quite friendly and experienced and the cars looking shiny and new.
Nevertheless a lot of functions and gimmicks are blocked. What is a nice car worth in BC weather without an awning? Why TV is not working proper?
Look at the cheaper cars from Fraserway and other, they are fully equipped not sitting in the rain or looking why things are not working.

Scammed me out of $4000, They lured me into paying Gold package for road side assistance, and when I got a flat tire in the middle of Hope stranded, they wanted me to stay there all night on a very dangerous road until the morning. Upon returning their truck they claimed the tire was damaged, and charged me $750 for the tire and kept my $1000 Deposit. Once I tried to fight it, they called police, and they blocked my number and said they didn't want to hear from me just so they could evade responsibility and keep the money. I'll be taking these Filthy Crooks to court. And I will do whatever is in my power to shut them down.
Stay Away If you don't want to to be scammed and robbed

Very helpful staff and very thoughtful. We have a young baby and they were able to give us some pointers on installing the car seat in the RV as well as found us a spot to park our car so that we didn't have to drive back and forth with the baby!

Pretty good company. Both Vancouver and Calgary. Did a relocation for them. The truck was new and camper almost new. Diesel truck. Lots of power good on fuel. No problems. Free 10 gas card included, and a welcome pack. Would rent again.

I hit a deer and it cost me $1000 deductable.asked for a discount as I was relocating for them but never got a phone call back. Oh well. If a manager reads this please see if I can even get 200 back as we were very nice customers and thought we all got along well.

Was 1200 bucks for the rental and included 2000 KM.we used 1950.

Would do again. Out the door was 2200, plus fuel and camping fees. Probably about 3000 bucks out the door for 10 day vacation.probably good price.

Was informed that Fraserway makes you pay 7500 if you decline their insurance. With Canadream the insurance is included.

They did not give me any problems on return, but I followed procedure by the book.

They offer me 500 KM free on my next trip thats cool.

From Twasseen we uber to their locaiton, and from calgary we uber back to airport.no brainer.

Rented a 28' RV in July for a week. The RV was better than i expected, it handled great for my road trip, the staff at the Delta location were friendly and very helpflu, and the price was pretty good as well. I highly recommend this business for all your recreational needs.

Advertising is deceptive. They're definitely not in Vancouver. Since when is Delta any where near Vancouver?

Rented a maxi motorhome for our trip to Banff and Jasper. Overall the trip went fine, but that's not without problems. On the first day when we stopped at the gas station, we realized the engine wouldn't start and later found out we had a bad battery. They got us to go into a ford dealership to get the battery replaced, but that resulted in tons of extra driving (going backwards) and half our day wasted. No compensation was provided for our inconvenience. The vehicle itself was sufficient but rather poorly built. The bug guard won't budge and was basically stuck, so we couldn't leave our door open. The bedroom sliding door wouldn't close properly because the piece it hooks onto has a loose nail. Drop off was quick, though no apologies or compensation was provided for the loss of time due to the battery problem.

I wanted to give it one star because the check-in agent named Karen was horribly rude and unhelpful!
We had ferry reservations to goto the island and because the drive from Nanaimo to Tofino is about 5 hours, you can only book the ferry earlier in the day. The pick up at the location is in the afternoon which is inconvenient. She told us “You should have planned better”!
However, Im giving it a 3 star because Jerome at the Delta location was absolutely helpful. He let us pick up our vehicle earlier. He was kind and understanding to our situation.

The old receptionist at the front desk was very rude, which made them lose out on a sale. I'd suggest going to Canada cruise, they are very nice and helpful with all of my needs, and they are way cheaper! They are also right down the road!

Disapointed, the bill says 3200 km allowed and when you pay it's 1600km. They want to charge you extra when you already paid. Cheaper than others RV rentals but extras bring you to the same price. The RV is supposed to be ready at 13h and we left at 16h30.

I do not suggest or recommend.

Our trip was generally good, however, we had some issues during the pick up, drop off process. The pick up process took way too long as we had some door lock issue and needed long time to fix. Our main comment was during the drop off time when the staff were a bit tense and not very welcoming. They were more concerned about the vehicle than the customers. When we told them about the damaged water kettle that could’ve burned us, their response was whether we bought a new one to refund us. Finally, the policy of paying for 7 days even if you book for 5 (like in our case) and then charged us for $160/hour for late drop off is a bit over (especially when the drop off time is 10 am). My little daughter summarized this by saying “we didn’t get what we paid”.
