I can not say enough amazing things about our involvement in all things CAN. This organization has been life changing for our family as far as attending events and participating in sports goes. Every event and program we have attended is always so welcoming and friendly. They know my ASD son by name and are always there to greet him with a warm smile. The events have a relaxed and calming atmosphere that is helpful for my family of sensory sensitive kiddos. The weekly programing has increased my son's desire to be social and helped him have a fun activity to go to like his sisters do. Their helpers are always patient and kind and are amazing at following his lead even if that means he doesn't want to play whatever sport they are doing that day. I highly recommend CAN family events as well as their weekly programming for anyone with an active kid or who just wants their kids to have a bit of social interaction. Even if your kiddo isn't big on following the rules of games or participating as expected, they will have so much fun!

It has not been long since my daughter joined Canuks Swimming. However, she feels more confident in the water. Her instructor's attitude and expert behaviour broke her resistance, and she enjoyed every session. I am sure she will be a good swimmer next year. I recommend Canuks for any neurodivergent kids and adults.

My kids have had the ability to learn skills like swimming and skating which they wouldn't have been otherwise. The family experiences which we can go to without feeling of judgement from others. They can just be kids

Amazing people, so happy to have this program for my son out there. It does make a big impact on him. Thank you for all the opportunities you have given us as a family.

CAN staff and programs are absolutely amazing. My son loves going to the programs and benefits from the high ratios of staff to kids.

The staff was wonderful during our week at camp. This was my daughter's first time participating and we will definitely sign up again in the future. Its a well thought out program, and gave my daughter an opportunity to learn new games and make new friends.

Our kids are unique, they can't participant in regular class. CAN might be the only way for them to learn a new sports or at least try it out.

We had an amazing experience at the CAN swimming in Surrey! The staff were truly welcoming, patient and well prepared. They made my son's first swimming lesson a memorable experience. The first day, he was still clinging to the instructor but gradually he developed confidence and started going into the pool by himself during the last few days. It's a plus that it is a small group for the preschool and thus, they were highly supported.
I am very grateful for the CAN and the volunteers for this fantastic program.

My son has a great experience in the preschool swim class. He started off wanting to explore the pool and staff were so patient with him. At his most recent lesson he gained confidence to do floats and blow bubbles with his instructor. Very helpful staff!

CAN programs have been amazing for our children. The facilitators are wonderful and passionate. They are engaging and gave our children the boost of confidence that they needed. We have used many of their virtual programs and will continue to do so.

Our daughter, has grown within motor skills and social skills with these brilliant programs and trained mentors. We love Canuck Autism.

CAN has been life changing for my son and I.finally we belong somewhere. Every class, outing, training I find that the employees and volunteers are so professional, playful and knowledgeable. So grateful for the work that they do to support healthy development of children/youth who need some extra support.

The Canucks Autism Network is absolutely wonderful! For the first time in a long time, our family is able to participate in activities together in a safe supportive space. The one on one instructors are so very patient and kind with our son. He is now able to participate in different activities that he loves. We cannot express how thankful we are to be working with such an amazing organization!

This network has open its arms to us new members, my son is 10yrs old on the spectrum, we live in a small town and we dont have much for my child to do things. My son does the virtual classes, they have sent us supplies for the classes he takes, during the pedemic we received a big supplie box of out door things to do with him n his sister. Thank you for making the virtual classes available for my son, he looks forward to next sessions.

So grateful for the support and social opportunities in a neurodivergent positive space that my son feels so comfortable in

This Organization is amazing. Everything that you want it to be and so much more. It can be difficult to have family experiences with children with disabilities but the CAN accommodates those limitations with events and programs that are incredibly understanding, welcoming and positive. The volunteers and directors are the best people who genuinely care about these kids and do everything to provide an amazing experience. Hockey games,
pumpkin patches, swim lessons, movie days. There isn’t enough space to type how much we appreciate these days and how much of a smile it provides to everyone. Thank you CAN!

One of the best things we have done for our son. These programs are outstanding. The instructors are well trained, compassionate and organized. I highly recommend.

Our child has been a participant of C. A. N.for about 4 years. She has attended the multisport, swimming, gymnastics and skating programs, as well as attending family events. Every single session we have been welcomed by kind and supportive staff making a comfortable environment for everyone. Our child has gained confidence and skills through CAN activities that she was otherwise unable to through any other program or professional intervention. We are truely grateful for C. A. N.
