Capilano Market

I am a frequent customer of Capilano Market and I have tried most of their menu. The customer service in this place is amazing. They are all lovely people. My favorite is the Ambleside Bagel (Smoked salmon and cream cheese) and the breakfast sandwich. Highly recommend this sandwich shop.

Edit: Sadly, the Friday special no longer exists. Now it's a good but expensive lunch/sandwich shop.

I ate ambleside bagel. It was sandwiched with salmon. It was really really really delicious I recommend it. I want to come here again…

I had caramel frappecino and Ambleside Bagel. Both were very delicious. The salmon in the bagel was too big and popped out of the bagel. The interior was very nice, and I was be able to relax. Every dish was attractive, so I wanted to come back.

Stopped here to relax and enjoy the Affogato happy hour! Fun coffee shop full of good people. The sandwiches made at the deli looked really good, we will have to go back.

Wonderful food, great staff, do yourself a favour and stop by.
When I worked in the area, this was my go-to stop for morning coffee breaks or lunches.

The staff are friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Soups, Sandwiches, Salads and lots of other great tasting baked goods. It can get busy but there is a good reason why.

Amazing food, coffee and service. Such a great find while we were visiting North Van! Try the golf club Turkey panini, 10/10!

Our favorite local cafe, you will never be able to go back to subway after eating this meatball sub - everything here is fresh and delicious every day, and they even have a little grocery area which is helpful when in a pinch you need milk, bread, cheese or cold cut meats. Also the seasame bagels are the best we've ever had.

Honestly I like the food, the drinks, the service and the decor but I've been there twice this week, both times it was really unpleasantly COLD inside and the music was barely noticeable. They diminish the atmosphere. A shame.

Some of the best cafè food / sandwiches / bagels on the north shore! I come aaaalll the way from the other side of town just for their sandwiches and soups, super affordable prices and the staff is so sweet:)

I got an egg breakfast wrap and a coffee here, they were both 10/10! The wrap was huge, filled with veggies and the eggs were made to order on a skillet right at the deli station. The coffee was very nicely made, I appreciate that non dairy milks are only 65 cents (most places charge a dollar these days). Most notable was how friendly and lovely the staff are-they even threw in a free cookie to my order. Will definitely be back!

I’ve heard about this place from friends and family they go on about how delicious and fresh everything is especially the sandwiches / subs. Well me and my husband went today and absolutely loved our subs. Fresh ingredients great flavour and great environment. We’ve decided it’ll be our new local place to go on our walks.

Delightful find near our hotel in North Vancouver. Perfect spot for breakfast en route to Whistler. Strong coffee, great wraps (with lots of fresh veggies!) & some victuals for our snow condo (eggs, mustard, much more).

While the sandwich I got tasted fine, it was not worth the 30+ minutes I waited to get it. My partner and I waited for over 20 minutes simply to order, with just 2 people ahead of us in line. One of the people left while we waited. One of the workers, though she wasn’t outwardly rude or anything, honestly seemed deeply confused at how to do her job. At one point she held up focaccia bread and asked her coworker out loud “is this focaccia? ”. She then proceeded to keep asking her coworker on how to make various things, which seemed to slow the whole sandwich making process down to a near halt. I think the worst part of the experience for us was finally getting the sandwiches after a 30 min wait time and then watching as the worker tipped the sandwich onto the floor. So I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get my own sandwich. We are patient people, and did not make a scene and also tried to help clean the mess off the floor. But man the service completely ruined our experience. Hire better staff. Or train them better.

Capilano Market is a good coffee to take a breakfast with delicious Panninis & Sándwiches or Fresh bread, the prices make sense for good portions!

Went there 8: 00 AM thinking they’d have fresh baked good. Ordered a croissant and a scone. They were at least 1 or 2 days old. Croissant was soggy. The cheese on top came off like rubber and the scone was so dry and stale, it was crumbling. On top of that it cost a fortune. Most definitely a skip.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Some of the best paninis ever - massive portions, fully loaded, fresh and delicious ingredients. The staff are very pleasant. I can't recommend this place enough. I drove by it daily for 4 years and I wish I had checked it out sooner.

Had an amazing pastrami panini and chocolate chip cookie for lunch - I wish I lived in North Van so I could come back more often!

Occasionally slow but given how they make the sandwiches it makes sense. Food taste really good and the price for a large is very fair. I can never finish a large.

Discovered this little gem, while staying in Vancouver this weekend. Good selection of pastries, sandwiches and groceries. The ice cream was a treat too.

They don't seem to follow their business hours. Not open at 9 AM on Sunday. Sometimes close early. Presumably due to staff shortage.

Another time we went there and the owner lady was having an argument with another coworker in Farsi. Which makes it very uncomfortable for patrons who are trying to dine in in peace.

Awesome sandwiches and service is great and very friendly. Would recommend if your in the area.

Enormous sandwiches with high quality ingredients, great Americano, lots of convenient groceries, super friendly and fast. I look forward to work at the residences next door because of the great food here. And they have gluten free options too!
