Very nice campground. It's unfortunate that we are here for medical reasons and not for fun. Clean power. Clean grounds. It is a favorite of mine, for sure. No breaks on cost for length of stay. It's nightly and adds up pretty quick.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place! Great facilities including laundry, chill out area (with board games), great WiFi, lovely showers and not to mention the hot tub and swimming pool! Nice small park up sites with picnic benches and electricity. Very accessible and central with a bus stop right outside that takes you into the heart of Vancouver, a big shopping mall right next door and a 15 minute walk to wholefoods! Would definitely recommend!

Been here for the last month and everything has been excellent! The facilities are top notch with a nice heated outdoor pool, hottub inside, lounge, clean showers which are free, as well as lots of laundry machines. The location is great as well! Staff have all been very friendly and helpful and my girlfriend and I and our dog are enjoying are stay! The park itself is nice, well kept, but the sites are fairly small. There's nothing dividing the sites either so your basically right beside the next RV. But its also in the middle of a city, not out in the moutains, so I understand. There are trees on the outside perimeter of the park and a small fenced in area for dogs to run a bit and do their business. They are very dog friendly here! The park is located very close the the river/ocean and there's tons of nice places and trails to check out near by. During this time of year the salmon are spanning in the river located right beside the park.
Thanks Capilano River RV Park! Keep up the good work!

Convenient for visiting Vancouver (the metro stop 700 meters away near the Park Royal Mall), but as they have no competition with rest areas in the surrounding area they have very high prices for what they offer (70 CAD per night with 15 Ah electricity and exhaust only gray water). Even the staff at the reception does not shine with courtesy and helpfulness.

More than a camping is a parking, under a bridge surrounded of skyscrapers. Traffic runs up your head (lions gates bridge) pretty loud and non stop. If was cheaper was ok

Very convenient place as it is close to downtown Vancouver and if you are ready to walk in 45min you will be downtown. Also there is a big mall just 5 min walk from it where you will find everything you need.
This isn't the quietest place as you are next to the highway but in a rv that didn't bother me much. Lots are also very close to each other but again I didn't feel like it was much of an annoyance.
This place is on the expensive side by so is everything in Vancouver. They have a heated pool, jacuzzi, laundry, wifi (actually this wasnt working very well where I was located).
Showers and bathrooms were clean
Overall a good experience for me

Ehr parking lot as a campground atmosphere and functional as well as beautiful, quite noisy due to the proximity to the multi-lane bridge. All connections available at the pitch. The neighbor is about 3m away. WiFi is available and gone every 5 minutes. The highlight is the proximity to the bus stop.

Personnel très désagréable, peu souriant et ne cherche pas à vous aider quand vous ne parlez pas très bien anglais.
Ménage et entretien juste limite et emplacements très petits.

This is a very nice RV camping facility with excellent bicycle access to Stanly Island Park and the Vancouver City. The restrooms and showers are reasonably clean and functional. The staff is very friendly. All the RV sites are concrete pads with grass and some shade early and late in the day. Our Starlink worked well but due to the high density, throughput is reduced in the evening. I observed rats scurrying around in the bushes so be sure to close all the hatches/doors in your rig, don’t leave food around and dispose your trash properly. We spent a day riding our Rad E-bikes all around the harbor. Lots to see and do. I would highly recommend this RV campground.

Pleasantly surprised by this place, was looking to camp in Vancouver and this location cannot be beat. We stayed in a tent versus an RV, which the lots are on the smaller size (as stated) but have everything you need. We had an area of grass (perfect for our tent), parking and a picnic table. Staff were very friendly, very clean (especially the bathrooms) and quiet. Definitely recommend, especially when you just need a place to sleep & will spend the days exploring the area. Will definitely be staying here again!

Can't beat this location for all the different parts of Vancouver.
But also, hot specious shower, clean bathrooms all day long, REALLY helpful and kind crew.
Mall right next door, can walk/bike to Stanley Park across the bridge. The traffic isn't too loud and there's plenty to do near the campground.

The spots aren't very wide, but it doesn't matter since you are out all day enjoying this fun city.

With the prices that they charge for tenting sites I would think that they would have enough income to remodel those bathrooms they are filthy and full of moles around the sink in the men's washroom I didn't even want to wash my face or brush my teeth

At first I wasn’t sure, whether I’m at RV dealer or at a campground. Sites are literally meters apart. Washrooms are small for the number of guests, though they are nice and clean. Sani-dump station costs $27, which is far overpriced.
The best thing is the location, as it is close to a bus stop of frequent public transport to get you downtown.

Terrible experience. The distance between caravans is zero. The campground had many caravans of people who "lived" there, they made a lot of noise, sang and drank until late at night. Our worst experience in Canada.

We were in #68. We have DRV 39’x14’6”. The site concrete is 10’ wide. Our door at bottom of steps were 2’ from Motorhome slide. Yes the traffic was visible but luckily no horns just a constant rumble that was tolerable. This is a 1980 build and our trailer was long and pickup was cross parked off the nose of the trailer. We couldn’t use the picnic table if we wanted. We saw the pool and it was covered at night. I walked by the bathrooms and glad we had ours. The staff were very nice at check in. The city is beautiful. For our stay and visit to Vancouver Island it was very convenient. IF you were a novice driver with a big 5th wheel you might have problems.

We had no choice, unfortunately, than to stay here for 2 nights before our ferry.
As previous reviewers say it is just a carpark. Concrete kerbs act as site markers in the smaller sites around the outside. Our rig only just fit and we had to park almost in the road to avoid putting our tent over the sewer manhole cover that was protruding about 6 inches above the ground. Thank goodness there were no units using the sewer outlets along the row we were in. I can only imagine the smell when that happens! We were on site 167 - it needs fixing.
There was rubbish over the sites along the row we were in (by the noisy road)
The reception staff give out leaflets with key codes for the toilets - the numbers have rubbed off the key pad to the mens. The door to the womens was permanently propped open.
Shower cubicles are small. Toilets don't all flush properly so are often left dirty.
It was very busy because it's the only park in the north of Vancouver, there is another RV Park in Burnaby which might be better.
It's a city RV Park with almost a monopoly so it doesn't need to try & it shows.
For $70 + tax a night for a 15amp site no. 167 it's a rip off!

Excellent city campground. Clean park with excellent staff.
Sites are small but if you are camping in a city, you are most likely there for work, as we were, or to go sightseeing.
We will definitely be back!

Very crowded and noisy.instant hot water in the showers was nice! Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but then again there are a lot of people staying there. Clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers.
16 August 2023 21:53
City Rv/camspite = small spaces, no privacy, busy, noisy traffic. But it also had pool, hot tub, was walkable to Ambleside, Stanley park, and park royal. We had limited exposure to staff but when we did it was pleasant. Long term tenants were kind. We’d stay again.

Peu d'intimité certes mais cela est normal en centre ville. Emplacement parfait pour rejoindre le centre ville ou le Stanley Park et très grand centre commercial à deux pas.

Our last campsite before returning the camper. Excellent city campsite with good facilities. Don't expect a nature camping spot. Good base for visiting Vancouver and Capilano suspension bridge.

DO NOT CONSIDER CAMPING HERE!
I would give it 0 stars if that was an option! Sites are ridiculously small. Could not extend our awning without being in our neighbour's site. Bathrooms are disgustingly dirty - day and night. Our trailer had an attempted break in. The lock to our trailer was rendered unopenable so we had to call a mobile locksmith ($125 later) to get into our trailer. The campground boasts it has security 24/7. The front staff were COMPLETELY apathetic! Absolutely infuriating! Will NOT recommend this campground to anyone ever AND will never come back!

Good location to get to Vancouver and to the ferry, not much Green and wie closer to the highway bridge (loud!)
29 July 2023 7:49
Camping located very close to the city. Pardonal very kind and helpful in everything. It is set and managed by members of the first nations. The plots and the services a little neglected. Nothing serious.

Parfait pour visiter Vancouver. Site étroit mais très bien.
Tout les services requis autour.
17 July 2023 5:47
The location (West Vancouver) is the saving grace for this RV park; there is shopping close by and local beaches; Stanley park is just across the bridge (walk or bike). Note.there is no access to the river.
The RV park its self is typical for a city.small tight spaces, on top of each other. Staff not helpful or friendly.

I have a lot of issues with the presentation of this Campground online. The graphic depiction of the Campground on certain sites makes it seem like you have water front sites. In reality, you dont. You cant see any of the Capilano River from the oeiginal site I booked. There are a lot of "live in" sites with permanent or semi-permanent residents. The sites are a minimum size. Facilities are well worn. I wouldn't stay again.
