Capri Italian Bakery & Bistro

Great place, this is a true italian bakery they have very traditional Italian goods, and the staff is very friendly im not from area but work nearbye and I've gone with work friends. I had a "fuget about it" sandwich it's not the first time and definitely not the last.

This little shop serves up some of the best sami's in the lower mainland. Pictured is the "forget about it" w double meat featuring Spicy sopressata, prosciutto, fennel salame, spicy peppers, Provolone, arugula, and Italian mayo. This hits all the right cues and drops you in to little Italy and you crunch thru the amazing house baked bread and have a generous amount of olive oil running down your chin definitely a must try if your local or just driving thru. I literally crave this Sami and this isnt close to all the do here from pies to pastries and sweets to flor de latte mozza theres always something taste and try thats mouthwatering.as always thanks for looking

We picked up some frozen lasagnas from Capri for a party and the guests raved about how good they were! Definitely recommended

I ordered a bonbon cake for my wife’s surprise party. I got a 3/4 slab for 80 people. The cake was fantastic, VERY fair priced, and super fresh. Everyone at the party was complimenting it. I would recommend this bakery for any large party you have needing a cake for the occasion.

Dunno how I never been to this place before, awesome sandwiches, friendly staff! Glad I was told "hey let's pop in here for a min. " came out with a porcetta sandwich

Amazing bakery and delicious sandwiches + desserts.

We went to buy some sandwiches and we had some special requests for them, the staff was so accommodating and nice about it. They did everything as requested and sandwiches were incredibly good, everyone said they were so tasty. They are a good portion for the price that you pay, and high quality! Same with the desserts we got, worth what you pay for!

We will be coming back for sure!

I will go out of my way, To eat at this place. I took a chance on this place with no recommendations at all. What a great find! I have gone twice now. First time i had the FORGET ABOUT IT sandwich and the second time i had the SOPRANO sandwich. Let me tell you, Absolutely no Sub sandwich chain can compare to what they make here. These sandwiches are on another level. Big flavors and filling. They also have a great Italian grocery section and baking as well. Pizza next time i'm thinkin.
Be prepared as parking can be challenge, And both times i went was close to lunch hour and busy.

Bad review as we had a gift card and in fine print it says it expires in 6 months. Pretty sure you can exprie gift cards legally as its equivalent to cash. Instead of arguing, I rather just give them a bad public review. Don't buy gift cards from here

What a wonderful job on the reno: it's a bright and airy with a high-end feel with the marble, tile and white-on-white canvas. Everything's made fresh in store, and the owners are very friendly if you should ask to meet them. We had zapole with a latte and espresso, and will be back to try more in the future!

My first time there last night and I tried their “forget about it” sandwich it was absolutely delicious. The bread the Italian mayo … sooo yummy! Coming for more!:)

Don't waste your time! Three times I have tried to buy a sandwich before 5: 30 pm and the staff make-up some excuse like the oven is off. I'm confused do they want to sell food? I tried three times, I will not go back to buy over priced food. They are very arrogant.

Good tasting food! It’s just too bad this owner doesn’t seem to want customers. Not only is there no seating area (except for a few bar stools - no tables) there is no customer parking! I parked in a stall that said “capris bakery” and I was told to move it’s only for staff. I said “ok where is your customer parking “ she said there isn’t any… okay. I guess I won’t be back.

Great bakery where they make cakes and pastries from scratch. I'm only sad that I just discovered it this year. Their hazelnut rings are delicious and I've already bought some as gifts for friends to try. Nutella cheesecake is quality, but it's really the cookies that stand out for me personally. Their chocolate chip cookies, vegan cookies, and hazelnut rings (shortbread cookies with hazelnut chocolate and this delicious cream filling) are awesome.

Maple Ridge's finest bakery and their sandwiches are beyond amazing. I always have the Vesuvio. Lovingly crafted and more than a meal. The groceries and Italian specialties are top quality and the cheese selection is ever-changing and lovingly chosen, you just have to try everything they offer. The soups and meals to go from the frozen section are home made and their eggplant parmigiana is spectacular. Terrific owners and staff.

I went here for the first time recently and just WOW.i decided to give the tuna up sandwich a try and it was amazing.shoutout to the employee at the counter for quick and friendly service! Being gluten free and pescatarian isn’t always the easiest when ordering food but capri had it all.i’ll definitely be coming back!

This eatery is sensational, and the owners are genuinely lovely. Everything from cakes to sandwiches is impressive. I recommend the eggplant parmigiana for take home.

So thrilled to have discovered this place in Maple Ridge. I highly recommend the charcuterie. It's perfect as a summertime dinner for two, along with one of their salads. The cheeses, meats, bread, the mustard and pickled veg! So absolutely delicious. And the harvest salad was so fresh, and a perfect accompaniment. Love this place, and will be returning over and over. The only thing that would make the experience better would be if we could sit outside on a patio and sip some wine while enjoying their beautiful food.

I am a baker and generally do not like baking from stores but this little shop is the true exception. We ordered a variety of baked goods and all were exceptionally good. Highly recommend. We are going back this week to test the sandwiches.

We usually travel over an hour into Vancouver to pickup good Italian products. But this little Italian bakery has it all. Not a big place, but all with an Italian style. Beautiful cakes, pastries, desserts. Salami and cheeses and breads with a good variety.yum

Ordered through skip the dishes and i was blown away by how nicely presented and prepared the food was and the taste was incredible. I had no idea about this little gem and am so happy to have somewhere else local that makes amazing food

Just had the chicken club sandwich, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, so tasty and the bread was so fresh. I’d highly recommend this place and the staff were super friendly and helpful

I ordered some cookies for our wedding dessert table, and after picking them up we unfortunately got into a car accident right around the corner due to a distracted driver.
Our car got totalled, but I rescued the box of cookies and they made it in perfect condition! Everything was delicious!

I go here all the time, their pizza is great, the croissants and donuts are outstanding, highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming, friendly place to grab a quick coffee and baked good or for a nice lunch

An absolute gem in Maple Ridge. Soup's, sandwiches and all manner of baked treasure (and much more). Bread that simply puts other breads to shame. Frozen meals that are addictively tasty. Outstanding quality, presentation, ingredients and overall pride in the finished product. However, the flavor is what really grabs you and gets you planning for your next Capri visit. The flavor and texture combinations are perfect. My faves so far, the Vesuvio and Sinatra sandwiches and the eggplant parmigiana. This is art folks.it is the real deal. Oh, and do not forget the cakes and desserts. Just had the lightest and tastiest mousse ever. WOW!

I've been on a quest to recreate the AMAZING Florence (Italy) sandwich that I got when traveling (name of restaurant - All’Antico Vinaio). I've visited many Italian shops in Vancouver to try to make the sandwich I've loved. This was the CLOSEST to the sandwich I've gotten so far! Absolutely amazing. I ordered the "Forget About It" sandwich, which was a delicious combination! The bread was outstanding, the house sauce was brilliant! Also really enjoyed the pickled peppers. Not only that, but the espresso was the HANDS DOWN BEST ESPRESSO I've had in North America. It was full-bodied and chocolatey, but still tasted so good! Highly recommended going here. You can't go wrong! Also, great shop with lots of baked goods, fresh and delicious options!

Just had the Chicken Pesto sandwich today and it was great! A generous amount of fior di latte, grilled veggies and chicken. Definitely worth the wait as they make it all fresh. Obviously had to get a cannoli (or two.) as well.

Delectable treats and desserts! Wish I could add more stars than 5, especially for the raspberry lemon cake and the Nutella cake! Yum!
