When my friends and i walked in the girl w the blonde highlights mouthed “OMFUCKING GOD” and she basically threw my ticket at me. She was also rushing my friends when there was no one else in line behind us.

Watched a movie recently. Nice cozy neighbourhood theatre.
Screen brightness (Screen 1) needs significant improvement, the dullness spoiled the movie experience! Also washrooms cleanliness could be improved!

Wasn’t bad not too busy. Went to see multiverse of madness seats were comfy but crammed. Basic theatre food nachos, popcorn etc.
Certainly nothing special but not too bad of a place.

Comfy leg room and good hospitality from the management taking us to the seats and making sure all is good. Great Popcorn, Quality Audio and Screen. Had a great experience watching Leo and Ponniyan Selvan 2.

Friendly staff and clean premises, only issue was the AC was very cold and a sweater would have helped.

4 for comfort, 3 for ambiance and a ZERO for staff, Unfriendly & unhelpful.
I couldn't care less if the seats are comfy (they are tho) it all comes down to good customer service, which aids in a good experience.

A quaint little theatre with a lot of availability, clean, good seats and a great movie experience! I come here often as they have Indian movies too!

Incredible service! The owner was there to greet us and checked with us on the way out too. The staff offered us an extra cup so I could share my drink with my son. This is a little gem with old fashioned friendly service. Please support this great theatre!

Theatre is alright for its age. Works great as a cheap escape but thats wear the benefits end. 3 out of the last 5 movies I’ve walked out of or had a terrible experience. Kids and people being loud and obnoxious throughout the movie is not enjoyable. And the moment you mention it to them or the staff not much is done. I am finally done going to this theatre as its now cheaper to go somewhere else or a better experience at home. People forgot that theatres aren’t their home during covid and its really starting to show. Just not worth the visit anymore to leave annoyed. I’m a patient person but its getting ridiculous. Last night we had kids mouthing off and moving from seat to seat laughing and being rude. Had one girl constantly forcing my seat forward and putting her feet in between our arm rest.

One of the last of it's kind, I cannot express how important this place is. Awesome staff and comfortable experience all around.

I took my family to the movies tonight and it was my two year olds’ first time. The manager and staff were so sweet and gave my kids movie posters. When we came back to see our movie the owner greeted us at the door and offered a complimentary kids combo for my son. The staff at the concession were attentive and fun to chat with.
Simply because of their good hospitality and going out of their way on a busy Saturday night to be friendl, I will choose this theatre over others. It was clean, well managed and the seating was comfortable. 5 stars caprice. Thank you to the owner!

Staff is always helpful and friendly, they are always patient with the little ones. I highly recommend this cinema to families. Great stop on a rainy day and delicious popcorn!

Such a great spot, friendly staff and great screens with great sound. So nice to still have neighbourhood theatres!

Wonderful little local theater, my husband and I had our first date here as teenagers and have enjoyed going back over the years! My husband and I now come here with our daughter it's one of our favourite family outings! The prices are very reasonable, the staff is always friendly, the seats are comfortable and the popcorn is delicious!

Retro deco theatre with not too many people, very enticing prices, and decent toilets, what else can you ask for? Maybe a bigger screen but it's only 10 bucks per person so not complaining:)

Great price, comfortable seats, good sound and the kids pack is great value. Better value than any of the big box cinemas at a fraction of the cost and close to home. Don’t drive anywhere.

I grew up going to this little theater. I absolutely love enjoying a show here and supporting smaller theaters!

Good little theater in South Surrey/ White Rock. Seats all re-done. Lots of padding and you can lean back.

First time at this local theatre. Love that it's within walking distance, and enjoyed the old school ambience of the place. Staff were friendly and popcorn was way better than at the larger theatres.

I had never been to the Caprice before but the movie we wanted to see was playing there and the timing was right. The Caprice was a little out of the way but it was Sunday so thought we would give it a go. A neighbourhood movie theatre is a perfect description and I mean it in all the best ways. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and tidy and the seats were very comfortable. On our way out the young man cleaning up the theatre we were in said "thanks for coming out" with an easy gesture. I thought it was a very nice touch.

My spanish class went here to see encanto which was a good movie.i also went here to see spider-man no way home which was a good movie.

Attended the capri movie theatre.
Covid rules in place. Good service at sales and tickets and great service at food court. Theatre very clean and comfortable. Prices were very reasonable.
Will attend again.

Had wonderful experiences at this theatre. Great new seats and social distancing protocols. Felt safe the entire movie, and because it is now assigned seating everyone has a clear view of the screen.

Updating my review in COVID times:
Went to see Tenet last week, was great. We had almost the entire theater to ourselves, there was just one other couple sitting far away from us. The new seats are clean and very comfortable, the old ones used to hurt my back after an hour or so. They are taking COVID precautions seriously with one way lines and are distancing between the seats, every 2nd row is cordoned off. All the staff were wearing masks the whole time.

I think it's important to support small/local businesses right now, even if it's risky to be in spaces like this. We've been a few times since they reopened and the place is very empty so I felt safe both times. I hope they can stay open as this is our favourite place to watch new movies.

I've been to theaters like Clova and Towne before they shut down. But I never knew of the existence of Caprice until a few months ago. Where I was invited by friends to watch Jurassic Park as it was brought back to the big screen. I really liked the environment. The parking is decent, area is safe, staff is friendly, prices are fair, and the neon signs are classy. But what I really enjoyed was the 90's vibe that I got from being there. The theme colors are purple and green. It just brings back great memories of what theaters were like 25 years ago.

Sooo happy to get out and see a movie after covid.especially happy to see their new reclining rocking extra comfy chairs with arm rests!
The staff were so kind and helpful, they actually went above and beyond!
I also like to come here with my 5 year old son and they have booster seats and truly are happy to have children enjoy a movie with them as well!

They updated the seats, and now there is so much leg room. The seats lean back a lot now too. Screens aren't as big, but the price makes it worth it.

New chairs look awesome! Management is great and the staff is really nice. Foods great, and I like the steps they took to provide a movie watching experience with social distancing. I’ve been coming here for close to a decade and I love it and will continue to.:)

An older theatre but shows run movies. Two shows nightly with matinees. Excellent rates and awesome senior rates. Older seats and 4 smaller theatres w/o reclining seats but still good to go. Always enjoy seeing movies here.

A FOURPLEX CINEMA. I REFUSE TO PAY SNACK PRICES BUT THEY ARE MARKET VALUE (SAME PRICE AT OTHER CINEMAS)

It has a likeable manager who seems to be always on hand to help you with any and all concerns, giving the theatre a home type touch to it.

A well run smaller venue with four or five theatres. Friendly staff. Great snack bar. Ample parking. Good place.

Not the greatest movie theatre. I must have tried 3 different seats and everyone were broken. I had a very sore bottom by the time I got out.

Small town theater feel. No crowds, hustle or lines. Friendly staff who actually talk to you & care if you enjoyed your evening & the movie.

I love that my friend and I went on a weekday and we almost had the theatre to ourselves. Comfy and cozy.

This is a great theatre, which gets first-run shows quickly. Has a small-town feel which I love, with staff performing multiple roles to keep prices down. Keep up the good work!

This is the type of theater I grew up with (with, admittedly, a much updated sound experience) and i love taking the family to it. Unfortuanately we get so many passes to modern theaters (cineplex) we dont attend this theater nearly as much!

As a relatively new parent, they also have a wicked matinee every week for parents with infants and toddlers! The staff are always down to earth and welcoming, as well.

Ticket prices are cheap, a nice blond young lady serviced me I have never seen better customer service.

Great little theatre. Everything wonderful except the owner, who is grumpy and takes away from the experience somewhat.

Classic little theater. Never busy and prices are good which is nice. Staff is always friendly. Seats could use a update but that's why the price is so good.

Owner rude and insincere. He couldn't care less what your experience is as long as you keep the line going. Been there a few times and he is consistently grumpy.

Because it is small, there are hardly any people in the theatre so it's easy to get your snacks. Etc. Staff are friendly and courteous too!

Power went completely out about 15 minutes into the movie and we were told to wait around to see if it comes back on for a voucher. Need better contingency plans and management.

Quiet and convenient. Friendly front of house staff. Slightly less expensive than the theatres with the great seats but that's what it was lacking, the great seats!

Very disappointed unfortunately. ️ The theater is a major fixture of South Surrey/White Rock, and a lot of history has certainly been built there (by me as well when I was younger.) However on my most recent visit after a while away, I found a theater neglected and in need of care. No upholstery on any of the arm rests, with some having the cupholder ripped out or the arm rest cracked lengthwise. The seats were still comfortable, but had noticable tearing in a few areas on some. The screen was all good and I still enjoyed my film, and the price you're paying is certainly a steal compared to larger theaters, but it's still noticable the disrepair these things were in. This is less of a knock against the theater and more a plea for management to please look into amending these things, to bring this to the stature I remembered it being when I was younger. I was so excited entering in, but left more nostalgic and saddened when the curtains were drawn.

Descent quality. 2D and 3D movies are available. Not overcrowded, price is a bit cheaper. Been before, will probably go back again.

Smaller older venue with good prices and a dose of nostalgia. One star off for having the washrooms upstairs - it would be nice if it catered to elderly/disabled.

Our family go to the cinema a lot and this is our new regular spot. We love it as we get to see the latest movies at a price we can afford. Whilst it's not cheap and it doesn't offer all the bells and whistles such as Cineplex, we can at least afford to go as a family. Our visit to Cineplex cost us almost $100 with snacks.

Nice small theatre for reasonable pricing. Seats are dated and missing cup holders here and there. Most of the times I have been there the theatre is half empty.

Nice small movie theater in South Surrey. The facility is very clean and the concession is fairly reasonable price - way cheaper than any of Landmark or Cineplex. Ticket is priced at $7 during matinee. For new releases, just wait 2-3 weeks and you pretty much got the theater to yourself. The screen is smaller and don't expect to get super high definition sound. The sound system isn't that bad; they don't crank up the volume so you can have good hearing after those intense action scenes.

Family owned older theater. Clean and well maintained. Support the local guy! $7 matinee! You can go wrong. ️. My kids love it there!

The Caprice White Rock is a great movie theater with 4 screens. Yes popcorn and everything imaginable for snacks. We paid at the concession and only saw inside cinema #3. The seats were good with a great screen, good sound, and it even came with the sticky floor. Friends booked a private, requested showing here. I also looked on-line, seeing birthday parties and a party room too. Thanks for the fun time.
