Captain's Oven Pizza

Definitely a recommendation. Had a slice from a friend at work and drove all the way here after so the family can also have a taste. Their Chef’s Special delivered an unforgettable flavour with truffle oil and parmigiana cheese. Dough is thin and crispy. Just could not have enough of it. Their staffs are also extremely friendly and gave our kid a very warm welcome when we dined in for the first time on our 3rd visit. They also gave him a special treat. Wish we had something like this around our place. People around are super lucky!

Ordered takeout for my wife and I. The flavour was really good, the crust also wasn't too dry and had good flavour.

Everytime I fly into BC, must have this pizza. And must have the Mozzarella for de latte stuffed crust - next level pizza here!

First time placing a large order and the staff were incredibly kind. The manager was very cheery and answered any questions on the phone. When I arrived, I was again greeted with the same enthusiasm and felt welcomed! The workers were working very hard, and they were also dealing with a lunch rush. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped me bring my order out to my car. The pizza was phenomenal, truly worth the money. They even sell pizza by the slice! It’s hard to find exceptional service and incredible food all in one place. Definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. Bravo to the manager and workers. You all deserve a raise! I just moved down the road and thought I would try something new and Wow! 5 star pizza. I order on Uber eats and it came so quick. The superb soprasotto has to be the best pizza I’ve ever had, spicy and sweet. The bruschetta was some of the freshest tomato’s ever. A must try!

The crust and toppings were good but there was barely any sauce on the pizzas. Had their pizza's once before and they were much better. For the price (which I dont mind paying). They could have put actual sauce on top of the crust. Not sure if I would order from them again.

Unbelievable pizza! So freaking delicious! Best pizza in Surrey in my opinion. Mmmmm. I highly recommend this place.

Good service and nice atmosphere, however, I did not like the pizza.
I ordered the Philly cheese-steak. It had no flavour and they made it fresh. I paid $32 for the large pizza

The Gluten Free crust is outstanding! Beat GF Croat we have ever had. 10/10 highly recommend! Also ordered a regular and it was delicious too! Definitely go here for pizza.

Tried the Pancetta pizza and Ferrero Rocher dessert pizza. The pancetta pizza was incredible, everything I want on a pizza! Their garlic sauce is really good too. Huge selection on their menu. The location is a little small, but I hope the community can continue supporting them so that they can keep growing! Even a food delivery driver saw how good the pizzas looked and got pizza himself:)

We ordered the margherita and napoletana. Crust unevenly cooked (burnt on one side), way too much cheese on the margherita and not nearly enough sauce, overly salty (yes I know that napoletana is meant to be salty which is why I used the phrase OVERLY salty), and overly hyped. The Brazilian cheese stuffed crust was decent but when the crust ends are the best part of a pizza something ain't right.

Amazing pizza and phenomenal service! Most delicious gluten-free pizza ever too. I ordered two pizzas from here, one gluten-free and the other regular. When they arrived I was convinced they mixed them up (because the gluten-free crust looked way too good and fluffy), and the manager spoke with me on the phone and was so kind and patient with me. I was wrong- it was gluten free! I have a severe allergy so was very nervous and asked him at least 10 times if he was sure. He continued to be patient and outlined their thorough cleaning procedure for gluten free pizza.

We really like of the pizza there. I was missing good and generous toppings! Frango com Catupiry (very good catupiry) is amazing, pepperoni is very good. Unfortunately we do not have the real calabresa in Canada, I really miss it. I recommend this pizzeria for sure. Captain Ovens should try to put on menu broccoli with bacon and cheese! Thank you ti make me laugh eating, and enjoying with so good flavours!

Ordered caprese pizza and captain's cheese garlic. Both the items were horrible. Pizza had too much of salt and crust was terrible. Never ordering again from here.

Edit: Restaurant was extremely supportive. They refunded the amount and also offered two pizzas for us. Surely I will be ordering again. Kudos to Captain's Oven

An amazing hidden gem of a pizza place. Service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the pizza was easily some of the best in Vancouver.

Neopolitan thin crust style with the right amount of crispiness to the crust. But the best thing is definitely the ingredients they use - you can actually taste each one, and they have some pretty unique menu options to showcase the ingredients.

Had the Portugese style pizza and the Alfredo potato pizza and they were fantastic. Would highly recommend this place to any pizza lover, and will absolutely be coming back again.

Staff are very friendly and the pizza was great. Definitely try it.

The options here are amazing! Great service as well, we were new to this place to the staff gave us some suggestions and help on the pizzas we picked. The pizzas we got were amazing, great flavor, fresh ingredients. Highly recommend

Two contrasting experiences in a single day. This has been a favourite takeout place for mine and my husband’s pizza/pasta cravings however today has been good and disappointing.
Tuesdays are Pasta Tuesdays so myself and my husband decided to go for a quick lunch. We ordered a Marinara sauce Penne with chicken and mushroom (basic toppings). The dish was nice and saucy. Ample amount of toppings, good bread and overall a very satisfying meal. The owner I am guessing was very sweet and humble towards all the customers and it was very welcoming. We felt like visiting again in the evening since it was our date night.

Now for the disappointing evening review; we felt quite unwelcome as the lady who took our order seemed kinda tired (no humble welcome feels). We ordered a pasta Alfredo with chicken and mushroom (again very basic stuff). We specifically mentioned to separate in two plates but we were served one (no problem but finer details). Now for the taste, pasta was lacking flavour, very dry and not upto the mark. I mean if we are paying 19$ we should get good quality.

Would I come back? Probably not in the evening.

Wow! This is probably the best pizza I've ever had. And they have a wide selection. Will definitely be back again because they set a new standard for me.

Genuine hospitality is hard to come by in these times, but Captains Oven delivers! Friendly and homely vibes as soon as you walk in the door, to the moment you leave. Delicious food, warm and kind service, and an exceptionally clean environment. 10/10 a must visit if you’re in the area. (Thanks for the garlic sauce sample!)

This is amazing fire over pizza. You don’t get this is sorted often with this range of ingredients. This is something I was more used to in Vancouver. This was my wife’s suggestion and I’m glad I said yes because we ate our pizza pretty darn quickly lol.

Hands down one of the best slices of pizza that I have had in a long time. Really glad I tried this place and can’t wait to go back for more delicious pizza

Pizza is delicious with so many different options. Employees and (who I believe is?) the owner are all very friendly, respectful, nice and take great pride in their product and space.

Oh my God! That large size of Pizza was biggg I thought can not finished them but we did…. So gooood if you are sick of instant pizza plz try here

Having been to Naples I can definitely say this pizza is far from authentic. And even when compared to regular Canadian style pizza it’s a fail on the most basic levels. Owner is also personally harassing us after we spent our hard earned money at Captain’s Oven, and if it continues we will be contacting the police:)

Best place in the area for value and taste for a quick lunch, as you can buy great quality and variety pizza by the slice. The pieces are fairly large as well, so 2 slices are plenty filling enough. Their garlic sauce is also great for dipping the crust, and to be honest, the entire slice as well if you so desire.

Amazing vegan pizza and their garlic sauce is unreal omg…. HIGHLY recommend. So glad I found this place in Surrey!

Tried the chefs special truffle pizza. Wasn't disappointed at all. Was literally worth every bite. Got it through doordash and wasn't disappointed at all the pizza came in quite warm and tasted original as well as specially handmade for my taste buds. I have been raving about it ever since and will definitely try more of their options including the pastas, i hear they are on special some days as well.

We love this place! We probably order once a week, and it's always fantastic. Authentic Napoli style pizza, thin chewy crust and fresh and delicious toppings. And the people who run it are super nice!

Really delicious pizza! I got the thin crust with two different pizza halves. The ingredients taste fresh, the pizza isn't greasy, and has that nice crust of an oven baked pizza. Highly recommend trying it out! I will be coming back when I'm in the area.

I have had pizza from 50+ places in the lower mainland and I would definitely consider their pizza in top 3. Delicious pizzas. I have only tried their vegetarian pizzas and they are so good. They definitely set the benchmark. Must try and its totally worth it.

Simply the best pizza you will find in Vancouver Area. If you are Brazilian and are missing a true pizza with those amazing flavors that only our country provide, that's your place. Aren't you Brazilian but you like a great pizza? This is also your place.

I work in this building and I love lunch time because of this Pizza Place. <3 They employees work so hard and have orders ready so quickly, the food is always fresh and the customer service is incredible! 5 star service and food!

DELICIOUS! I’ve ordered from here several time.my go too fast is the Truffle Mushroom. I get it every time I order.it’s a masterpiece! Tonight, as the 2nd pizza, I tried ‘The Works’. ITS AMAZING! Caprese salad, focaccia.lovely! Highly recommend!

Their pizzas never disappoint me. Super tasty and decent prices! The manager is really outstanding as well. There’s a reason why this place is rated so high! It’s too bad other companies don’t follow their way of excellence but it’s their loss I guess. Keep up with the great work guys!

What a fantastic place! Went there with my family to try it out and we loved it very much! The staff and owners were very friendly and the pizza was veryyy delicious. The crust was to die for it was light and didn't sit heavy in the tummy. We will definitely go back to try all the other choices like salad, desserts, appetizers and more.ohh did i mention that they even serve Cocktails.yum. Gluten free options are available too. The local restaurant offers probably the best pizza in the town with light, thin crust pizza fresh from the oven. I tried Pepperoni, Cheese Steak and Truffle Mushroom there. All were yummy but my favourite is Truffle Mushroom. They also serve soup and homemade tiramisu. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

We took home two pizzas for the first time, it was absolutely delicious. Best pizza we have had. Great thin crust. High quality cheese. We will absolutely be returning!

The search for real brick oven pizza in Surrey is over. This is the real deal. You don`t have to cross the bridge just to get your `real pie` fix, just go there. Brick oven, top quality ingredients and a Napolitano trained pizzaiolo. Don`t waste your time with `fast food` pizza. Time to wake up and give this place a try. You get what you pay for. You will see the light and have the OMG moment.

This place is great. The reviews don't lie the ingredients are fresh and the staff is pleasant. The salads are delicious also.

Just stopped at Captain’s Oven Pizza, it’s a gem, never had a real Neapolitan pizza. I had the Chicken Pesto, it was special. I will be back again and definitely recommend this place.

The pizza here is truly delicious. Their authentic wood burning oven is what really makes the difference and will put them a gigantic leap above every other place.if you want delicious pizza in Surrey then this place is a must.
Side note, the interior is really nice and the staff are lovely. 5 stars for sure.we will be back.
