CSO & OFA certificates are highly recomended for finding job in construction field and Care Institute is the place to get these tickets.

In June 2023 class for ofa 2 instructor Julianne simply the best at care institute, like Nicky before her.
Julianne was helpful, and actually cared for students, and answered all questions, gave great instructions, was happy with her. I’d recommend anyone wanting to do ofa 2 or especially ofa 3.

I took the OFA Level 3 course here and had a blast. Julianne is great, easy to work with, and makes everything easily digestible. It’s a tough course but, if you do the reading and have the right attitude you’ll be just fine:)

You certainly won't learn and know OFA3 like the back of your hand, but if you pick up a lot of the slack by yourself then you might have a chance at certifying. Maybe an option if your company is covering the cost, but I wouldn't pay out of pocket for training here.

I had Julie Anne as a teacher, she instructed us well and held us to a high standard. If I had someone doing first aid on me I would breathe easy knowing they were trained by Julie-Anne.

I had a great time doing the course FIST AID LEVEL 3 and everyone involved in Care Institute Of Safety & Health has made it a great experience.
I look forward to doing more courses with this institute in the future and have been recommending to everyone I know. Thank you for all the assistance and feedback, it has been delightful and very gratifying.

My instructor, Julianne, has helped me a lot, particularly Through her lessons and her best teaching methodology, my Skills has improved. She gave different scenarios, which not only made the lesson interesting but also made it easy for me to understand well. She not only encouraged me on every step but made me confident through her lessons. She is indeed a good and knowledgeable instructor and a good guide too. Took OFA Level 3 with this training facility. My instructor Julianne left me feeling competent as a first aider for the first time. I have taken a few basic first aid courses before, and I have not ever finished the course feeling like I would be able to perform what I've learned. Julianne made sure we drilled in proper habits from the beginning, including staying up-to-date with new science and to be open to learning. And she really seems to understand the effectiveness of practice, practice, practice, with encouragement to learn and deep dive into the theory on our own, using valuable class time to practice. When I had questions about anything, such as an application in real life scenarios, she went out of her way to find the answer for me. And I've heard the other students speak highly of her and other instructors they've previously taken the course with here too. I highly recommend Care Institute for any First Aid training.

I learned and passed my level 2 without a hitch. I enjoyed my teaching from Clarence. He has many years in the field. He teaches in a relaxed environment and help you to be successful. This is the place to go to and pass with flying colours not only on testing and also on practical. I will retake my class in 3 years again. I hope I get Clarence again for a teacher.

This is a GREAT place to get your first aid certifications, CSO training, etc. The staff are VERY knowledgeable, passionate and focused on your success and understanding of the material. You gain a great deal of practical, hands on experience and you leave feeling confident in the new skills you have learned. Your days are jammed packed and there’s no time to be bored. I have to admit that I was mentally drained by the end of each day but it was worth it. Each day you do a lot of physical, practical work and are on the ground (often on your knees) and my only minor complaint would be that the floors are barely padded and the carpet is quite worn. It would be nice if they invested a little bit into the building and made the floors a tad more comfortable. That being said, the experience and knowledge you gain here is well worth some sore knees. You leave here feeling confident in your new found abilities. I’m very pleased with my experiences here. ***IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL KINDLY “LIKE” IT***

I have had an amazing opportunity to learn from instructors Leslie and George. They taught me everything I needed to become a certified Construction Safety Officer. Elaine, the owner has been extremely flexible and has worked with me to ensure I received the best classes and times. Thank you!

Reception was unable to answer basic questions on the courses offered and then hung up when asked how long instructors had been working in the field.

Just finished my training today.first aid trainer nikki explained everything with as much detail as possible from the book and outside from the field.she made everyone do the practical again and again repetitively which made the theory actually get into my head.

I Recommend this place to everyone who want to learn ofa2 in a practical- on the field way without feeling the pressure of the toughness of the course.

Their office in Langley was MUCH BETTER. I just completed my OFA 2 over the last 3 weekends in a row. This place needs a renovation! The first weekend the heat was out. Our instructor was late every day, 10-15 min usually. The CSO course in the other room was open. So we would half to walk thru their course to find our classroom dirty & not set up properly.

The OFA 2 & 3 Course requires participants to be on there knees for a large amt of time. So under padding for the carpets would have been nice. Heat as well is apparently a luxury!

The kits were in terrible shape! None had working zippers. And all of the O2 kits were ripped and torn. Their was only 1-2 O2 tanks that even had air in them. During my whole course. 3 weeks in total! Even the examiner "Bernie" made mention of the condition. By the way the examiner is the only great thing about the entire course. And she doesn't even work for C. A. R. E.

I would not advise and one attend this training facility until they repair it.

They should take more CARE in their facility.
