Carefiniti Medical Clinic

My family doctor, Dr Parhar, was excellent, however he has so many patients that it’s consistently a 4-6 week wait to see him. His reception would not prioritize seeing me despite pregnancy (I was told it’s a 6 week wait in my first trimester). I was sent to another doctor due to his busyness, and after being given outdated advice on prenatal nutrition, she refused to give me a requisition until I had an old school blood test proving pregnancy. At the same time, my current doctor held a meet and greet for a family member- despite being unable to even see pregnant patients. At that point, I grew so frustrated that I found a new family doctor. It’s been years of reception mishaps and irritations- the staff is stressed and not organized. The saving grace was my fantastic GP but if he cannot see me, there’s no point to continuing at Carefiniti. I have a found somewhere else now with a doctor that can consistently see me and did not demand a blood test prior to handing over a much needed and belated requisition.

Guys, your phone is always busy lately, and there is not working voice mail anymore. I just had the most bizarre and unpleasant experience with Dr Wong to get a refill of my prescription, raising concerns when I told him I don’t have any concerns and I regularly monitor my blood pressure, so decided not to prescribe me my medication, what a waste of my time to have booked a phone consultation

Dr. Parha is amazing but their staff at the front desk are terrible and ruining Dr. Parhar’s services. They never answer phone calls. Ladies up front are inexperienced and really have no idea how to do their jobs organizing appointments or find a simple document/file on their system.

My GP met with me once (during our meet and greet) and took absolutely no notes despite me laying out my medical history, diagnoses, and medications. This doctor has now left. There are no safety nets here, and when I saw a "fill in" doc (because my GP was never available) I was told by this doctor that he essentially did not care about me because I was not his patient. Honestly, hands-down consistently the worst experience I have ever had in the medical field. For reference, I have to routinely see a GP and multiple specialists to keep atop my illnesses.

Dr. Parhar is an absolutely excellent GP. I highly recommend him as he’s honest and thorough. He listens and does not jump to conclusions.

For a while I have had a knee pain and I was recommended to see doctors at Carefiniti. For the second time they have outdone themselves- with care, with efficiency and patience. Before I left the appointment I was offered another one on one consultation to go over a plan for healthy living and how to stay focused on that. I am really grateful that I got to know the management and the staff at Carefiniti Lynn Valley location. I would recommend it to anyone that needs medical attention and care. They are the real deal!

A very positive first experience here as a new patient. Staff and Doctor were polite and professional. I was seen on time, and matters were dealt with with efficiency but fully. Recommended.

Terrible experience. Staff at Marine Location were super unfriendly at the front desk, and the Dr was super rude and cranky. I came in to discuss my health and he refused to even listen to me. I will not be coming back to this location.

Reception is always behind and forgetful. I have tried to be patient but I struggle with their communication. I also email the doctors there since it’s extremely difficult to see my doctor I was given online. I feel as a patient there could have been a better environment yet I feel I am being pushed back. I have to wait over a month just to see a doctor. When I call to request to speak with the doctor by phone they tell me estimated time and I never get a call back. I am not sure what to do about this. Find a new doctor again? So far my experience at this clinic hasn’t been pleasant or peaceful. ‍️

Dr Parhar is a one of the those rare endangered doctors; someone who is willing to listen to multiple issues, offer discourse instead of a questionnaire to fill in and is aware of and understands that modern medicine is always adapting.

Me and my husband looking for a family doctor in Vancouver found Dr. Butty accepting new patients. We were not impressed by the first walk in our requisition didn’t had the most common stuff to be checked. On top of it we received couple calls to book appt for Dr. Tashakor in follow up few weeks later. Not sure if the call was made from this clinic or them. Last evening I received call from a lady with no caller id forcing me to accept the appointment booking with Dr. Tashakor, the lady kept saying how the Dr. Butty would be upset if we didn’t take it seriously and see the referred doctor and our doctor cares for us. I don’t think anyone can force someone who actually doesn’t have an underlying issue. Most forceful and annoying way to deal with new patients. I had family doctor in Victoria much much much sensible and knew what they were doing and not forcing there patients to see someone they didn’t want to for any xyz reason.
This is a big red flag i see after our in person encounter. Not coming back time at any cost!

Dr. Gonzalez Is my new family doctor and I am so happy to have found a non judge-mental doctor who actually takes the time to listen to you. He is very pleasant and kind.

Such a wonderful clinic experience. Dr. Parhar provides excellent care and the whole team are very professional. They always try to find an appointment, and often offer appointments within the same week or even next day. Extremely compassionate doctor, who takes his time to listen to your concerns. I have always found the staff to be very conscientious, efficient and on time. I've never had to wait long for my appointments and am so glad to have found this team and Dr. Parhar. The MOAs are wonderful and always extremely helpful and responsive both via telephone and by email.

The office manager was very helpful when I needed to make an appointment to see a doctor urgently.

This is one of the best Medical clinic in Pemberton heights. I have been going to this clinic last 5 years now. The Physicians and front desk staff is kind and respond quickly to cater your needs. I would recommend this medical clinic to everyone!

This is a wonderful, professional, clean, really accessible Clinic. I see Dr. Parhar here, and he is an exceptional physician. With so many clinics not accepting new Patients these days, I am extremely grateful that Doctor Parhar and his talented staff have taken me under their wings. And I unfortunately said that they were not wheelchair accessible when I was doing the review and they are wheelchair-accessible!

Doctors are good but the receptionist can be rude and helpless to find the right appointment date/time. I was super polite with her but she shown zero interest on helping. Kindness should be on the essence of their work but.it's not.

I would like to bring this matter to Carefiniti Clinic management attention:

At approximately 11: 14 AM on Monday, April 4th, 2022 I called the Carefiniti clinic to see if I could speak with one of their doctors over the phone, but I was told by the receptionist that tomorrow day would be the earliest that I could speak with a GP. I politely THANK the front desk lady and tell her that tomorrow would be way too late for me to see a doctor given my deteriorating health conditions. Upon hearing that, she just HUNG UP the phone on me! I have no idea what her name was, but she was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I am assuming that either she hates her job or has not been trained properly to work in a client oriented kind of a job like this.

I am constantly impressed by not only my doctor but by the care and willingness of this office to go the extra mile. Needed some add'l medical investigating and they found a way to fit me in. Thanks to Dr. Ciolacu, Dr. Tashakkor and the reception staff. Job well done!

The services that I receive from Carefiniti is excellent. Dr. Parhar and the receptionist are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to family and friends.

Dr. Amrit Parhar is exceptional! Finally a doctor that actually listens to my concerns and does something about it! Reception has a bad rep based on the reviews but I’ve witnessed them being treated horribly in the past by patients that are downright rude to them so my guess is they get burnt out (they’re human people, come on). I’ve had no problems as long as you’re nice to them and don’t take anything too personal if they seem a bit rushed.

I just called and was met with the rudest receptionist ever, I asked for help and advice and was told there was no Dr and I should go somewhere else then she hung up on me.will never go here again. You would think that someone working in Drs office would have more empathy than that. Gave it one star because I had to in order to post this. I would give it ZERO if I could.

I came across Dr. Amrit Parhar through a rather chance appointment. I am new to Canada-Vancouver and in May 2021 I was in a very vulnerable situation- my entire family was affected with COVID and I needed a family care doctor urgently as more than myself, my husband was affected severely. Dr. Parhar was a Godsend! He prescribed the right medications, responded to every query through email and close follow-up phone appointments. I am a very anxious person in general and going to doctors or hospitals increases it manifold. I have rarely felt comforted by doctors when I asked too many questions. He is an welcome exception! My family is now under him as a family physician. There is something very soothing and calming in his composed and friendly demeanor and I would recommend anyone in need of a family care doctor in north shore to book a visit with him. My very best wishes with him and the clinic!

If you thought you hated going to the dentist, wait until you meet these receptionists. They are like any other medical clinic office. Impatient, not helpful, I would recommend misspelling your name and number and then go back and make them redo it. Jk.
People already don’t like going to clinics. They’re there to make sure your experience is just that much more cringeworthy.
Dr Parhar is a decent enough doctor though.

I am so so happy that I found a family doctor in Dr Parhar. He is the best I have been to. Staff is also friendly and helpful every time I've been.

Carefiniti Medical Clinic is one of the best. Exceptional service (especially from the office manager) and very clean and welcoming. Never have to wait for appointments like I have had to in other clinics, well run and they actually care! Dr. Ciolacu goes above and beyond for her patients. Highly recommend this clinic- the best I’ve ever gone to. I’ve been to a lot!

Dr. Parhar is an outstanding doctor who always shows compassion and listens to what I have to say where countless doctors have not. It can be so difficult navigating the Canadian healthcare system when you are chronically ill with a rare disease, but Dr. Parhar always does everything he can to ease that burden.

It is never fun being sick but I can always count on Dr. Parhar to help me out and point me in the right direction when I need it, and I am very grateful to have him on my side when things are difficult.

I've started seeing doctor Ciolacu a couple times after getting into the north vancouver area and am really happy with her level of care so far. She's listened to my concerns doesnt seem to disregard my worries despite having vague symptoms. She seems to really want me to feel better. I'm also happy with how quickly I can get in for an appointment considering previous doctors I saw could take weeks. I'm very happy so far. The previous one start review really confuses me based on my experience and I am not sure how anyone could go over the things they did in their appointment in only four minutes lol I would take that person's review with a huge grain of salt

I tried to book an appointment and they being fully occupied they called me back for the inconvenience and informed me they would be able to help me tomorrow. They also showed remorse regarding the situation as I was a long term patient of the clinic.

The manager helped me out.

Dr. Parhar is a great doctor and more importantly a compassionate human being. Staff have been very helpful too. The level of care and compassion shown to me when my family was going through a very difficult time regarding my son's health challenges were just outstanding.

Could not be happier with the care my husband and I received here! Office manager is hilarious and a star! Dr Parhar had a solution within minutes for a condition caused by the malpractice of a doctor seen previously (not at this practice). So relieved and happy! Thank you! ️

This place is miserable, l wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, first of the doctor for my appointment showed up 35 minutes late and then the charged me double $200 for ICBC commercial license, l called like 10 different locations all over BC and their price range was between 100 to 120. When l called back to the owner or manager, the secretary acted like a manager and treated me like a pice of dirt.
I had the horrible experience there.
I even emailed them and nobody answered back so far.
I should give them absolute zero star but unfortunately l can’t and don’t have that choice.
I strongly not recommend this place to anyone in North Shore

To have an appointment with Dr. Corina Ciolacu was perhaps the biggest mistake of my life. My appt was at 11: 15 and I did not see her till 11: 33 (I understand doctors that are very busy so the wait was not a problem). The first thing I tell her is that I hadn't seen a doctor in quite some time as I only go under strenuous circumstances and just wanted to ensure that some of my concern were not problematic. She indicated that she can only cover two health concerns (even though when you read the rest of the review you will see the problems were covered in < 1minute). She looked at an inflammation on my leg, let me know it was just a bruise from hitting a coffee table (not even paraphrasing) (1min). She also gave me a blood test for my cholesterol (Keto diet) (2-3 minutes) now the next issue I tell her is of my breathing issues due to possible sinus inflammation/infection and she tells me -> she cannot help me and I need to book another appointment. I look at the time it is only 11: 37 and I tell her that she has seen me for not even 5 minutes after having to wait for about 20. She said she is busy and cannot help me even though she stated she sees patients for around 15 minutes per patient.the fact she refused to offer me help after this whole ordeal was THE MOST unprofessional and unethical thing I have experienced in my 28 years of living. What kind of doctor has the audacity after 5 minutes to tell their patient they cannot further help them because they are busy. If you are too busy to care for your patient, reduce the number of patient at your clinic or find a better way to organize the schedule. I HAVE NEVER written a review but this was the first time I felt the need to because I felt disregarded, disrespected and it was beyond a doubt she did not give 2 cents about me. DO NOT ask for Dr. Corina Ciolacu because she does not care about her patients.

It was my best clinical experience in Vancouver, Staff are super friendly and patiently answer all your questions. Dr. Navjit Parhar is a great doctor, super friendly that makes you feel comfortable. However, I live in Coquitlam I will definitely choose Dr. Parhar to be my family doctor and don't mind to drive all the way to North Vancouver to see her because it is really worth it.

This clinic has a terrible customer service and it's a shame because my family doctor has moved her office to this clinic. The receptionists are terribly frustrating! They don't do their work and are rude to patients. It’s very painful and stressful to make appointment with my GP.

Dr. Corina Ciolacu is very dedicated in the care for her patients! I feel very lucky after a lengthy search to find her.
The clinic is well managed as there are never many patients waiting.

This clinic is clean, bright, and uplifting. The staff are warm and friendly and I love our new family doctor Dr. Nazula Khanahmadi! So happy to find this place!

I started seeing Dr. Ciolacu in August as I was referred to her by another doctor. She is patient, kind, caring and really listens. She actually took the time to explain and educated me regarding my injury. I have seen her quite a few times now and the course of treatment she is doing on me has helped lower my pain levels and inflammation.

I started seeing Dr. Ciolacu earlier this year (for me and my infant son). I have been so pleased with both the clinic's organization, as well as Dr. Ciolacu's care. She is a really kind and knowledgeable. I have never had to wait more than five minutes for my appointment. I am so glad I found this option for a family doctor in North Van!

I have been seeing Dr. Ciolacu for 5 months. Appointments are always on time. If I need extra time for treatment she always advises me to book additional minutes, so we can address the issues completely. In a time when many Doctors are not seeing patients in person, she has helped me through a painful injury. Thank You

Doctor seems very competent but front office staff don't seem to know what they are doing: set up appointment when dr not in office, set up appointment for treatment unbeknownst to dr, asked for intake form multiple times, etc

This clinic is so professionally and well run. The front of house management are extremely great at communicating and setting things up, and the doctors here are truly caring and never make you feel rushed.
I highly recommend this clinic for their professionalism and friendliness.

An excellent professional, kindred spirit clinic. We did a walk-in the manager provided us with great care and consideration. The doctor was professional and provided us a detail diagnose and answered to our concerns. Hidden gem place!

Dr. Ciolacu has been our family doctor for a couple of years. She is awesome. I am glad she moved to this new clinic.

Arrived at this place 230pm they were closed. They supposedly close at 3pm and they were already closed. Bad management.

Very professional and friendly staff, with virtually no wait time the few times that I've visited them. The clinic is also very clean and pleasant.

Me and my family started going there it's a great nice clean clinic. And the Dr's are Awsome. They offer many services from pain management to cosmetics. Best Clinic on the northshore so far.

Finally found a family doctor accepting new patients! Yay! Great staff, the receptionist Bela is so nice and professional, and Dr Ciolacco was excellent!

I received a follow up call from the office manager after my visit. She is very kind and genuinely care about the patients, it was beyond the medical service they provided.
