Great local place it the heart of kits, food is great staff are very nice they have lots of tv's with many types of sports on this place has a awesome vibe to it also play some old school rock and roll at the perfect volume so you can hear it and atill chat with your friends.

I went during karaoke night.it took a while for anyone to notice i was at the front waiting for a seat.once someone directed me to sit anywhere it took a while longer for someone to get me a menu.so the menu has changed although the happy hour offerings are still the same.i honestly wasn't interested in the food or the atmosphere of loud, badly sung kareoke.so i left.three stars because i knew the food would have been good if someone would have taken care of me sooner.maybe it was just bad timing, but my experience wasn't impressive.

It's an irish-ish place, but I really like it. Nice staff, nice location, indoor and outdoor seating. Nice place to stop by after work.

Placed a $60 order and half the items were wrong/missing. They sent chicken lips and pachos WITHOUT the Emerald Isle sauce! Anyone who has eaten at this restaurant before can attest to the fact that this is inexcusable.

I actually really enjoyed my time here. The different kind of drinks and the variety kf them are very good.

Not impressed by the service we got the other day. Server forgot our order and after following up after 40 minutes she didn't even remember our order. She she was not apologetic at all nor did she do anything for the inconvenience. Got our order 1 hour after we got there. She never checked on us to see how we're doing and even got our bills wrong. I'd say you better spend your money somewhere else.

One time me and my girlfriend were sitting at the bar.and an Irish guy told us we didn't look like we were from "around here". I was wearing bluntstones and a Patagonia jacket.basically the vancouver uniform.so I thought that was quite funny. This place is always quite lively with regulars, it's a bit bright for me.but hey it's not about me! There's regulars.and it seem like a neighborhood spot.so 5 stars!

I've driven past this place so many times and always wanted to check it out over the years. Last night was our first time there and it was awesome. Great staff. Big drink selection. Food was good.

I've been coming here since I moved to Canada 6 years ago only getting better with time.

Guinness wasn't the best back then but it's gotten so good now I had to write a review. Not sure if you got new lines or changed anything but it's up there with the best in town now!

They've also got cheap pool and the Manager seems to look after it's customers, we've had him drop shots to the table on a few occasions.

One of my favorite local bars in Vancouver. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very fair. There's always events happening there such as live music and bingo. You can also play pool for $1.25 per game which is great

Didnt get service for 30 min and by the time they came they said the kitchen had already closed and we drove all the way there for nothing, ridiculous horrible service

Great environment! Staff are friendly drinks are good priced. Food is good, Music Bingo Wednesday’s are a blast. Carlos o Bryan’s is the cheers of you local neighbour hood.

Server was great, very accommodating. Good selection of foods but mediocre in flavours. 4 stars despite food due to amazing service

One star because I can't give a zero and they at least have a good atmosphere. ZERO if this was just for cleanliness and food quality. Wanted to like this place. Good vibe. Friendly staff. I'm done giving them chances. Had previous bad food experience at Burrard (beef on my pasta looked like frozen doggie treats, and tasted worse). Gave this location and the one in New West another shot after my initial bad experience, but food was too disappointing. Went on June 7th, 2022 to Burrard location. Had to show server that I got a dirty Kokanee bottle. Like it was dipped almost halfway up in something white that got tacky on my hand. It could have been caught by the bartender, then the server, but both touched it AND MISSED IT? Or didn't care? Believe it came back wiped and not replaced (I folded a corner to mark the bottle, although I guess it could be coincidence they both had folded edges) if it was the same bottle it would mean they handled the part I drink out of, and that's poor hygiene. Got dirty cutlery for the poutine. Got a wine glass with lip marks all around the rim. Made me wonder what other hygiene is missed/skipped. Poutine was what looked like frozen McCain waffle fries (same as their Pachos a few years back, which had barely any toppings, not sure if they are still the same) and small portion for what you pay. Basically $20 for quarter bag of frozen waffle fries. Do yourself a favour and go to a Wendy's or McD's for food value and quality. (I know, right? !). Food value/quality aside, the hygiene at Burrard seriously lacking, and in this day and age that's scary. Just my opinion.

Normally I would never complain about a plate a Pachos but tonight I missed out on a gorgeous sunset for a plate of very pitiful soggy Pachos (I even ordered the extreme Pachos) There was little to no toppings and absolutely nothing extreme about them. As well my mocktail tasted and looked as if someone had already sucked all the flavour out of my drink. Our table left feeling very disappointed tonight. This is not my first time dining there either and tonight was the worst experience I have had at a Carlos O'Bryan's to date.

This place is a rock solid Irish pub. Everything you'd expect on the menu, fair prices, nice community vibe inside. Won't cha he your life, but you can be confident walking in here that it'll meet expectation

Was a bit disappointed this time. I was told there was no salt or pepper. No parmesan either for my pasta. Got my drink wrong. Not a great birthday experience.

Awesome neighborhood pub with friendly staff and excellent food. The wings and lamb burger are top notch.

I am giving 2 stars rather than 1 because we have had fine experiences in past. But our last evening there was a disaster. There was a lineup out the door because there was no one to seat us or check passports. Instead, whenever a server had a moment, they would let in a few people. By 730, people were walking in and seating themselves.

We arrived at 710. At 730 we still had not seen a server and had to ask at the bar to order. We eventually got 3 waters for the 6 people at the table. The other 3 never materialized. Drinks routinely took >15 minutes to arrive after ordering. The fries were both clearly reheated and none had seasoning or even salt. My friend's salad had no dressing and his burger had no condiments. It had taken till nearly 800 to get food and we were so starved that we didn't dare risk returning it lest we not get fed.

My worst experience at a large otherwise successful restaurant I've ever had.

Good service and good food. Nice to get full 20oz pints! Also Love the happy hour deals after 9pm

I really enjoyed the happy hour. They had lots of drinks options. Not expensive ones, and they were truly good. Also, they had live music, just good music.

Great place to come for trivia and music bingo.

Also, the dessert here is top notch. The King O'Mud Pie was delicious and a couple of us had to share it as it was massive.

We popped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and snack and ended up staying way longer than expected because we were having so much fun and wanted to experience more. We sat at the bar and got amazing service from all three staff we interacted with during our stay. Beer was nice and cold, pachos and chicken dumplings were super tasty!

Always great food, cold beer, and attentive service. Love it, with Covid, it's a large place & easy to stay unto your group.and still enjoy urself! It's a must go!

They keep an excellent totally open heated patio all year. It's really great for meeting up with people concerned about air circulation these days!

This place is great. It’s a refreshing jewel of a neighbourhood pub in rather gentrified area. The service/servers are so wonderful, attentive, friendly and professional. The management is obviously doing a good job of hiring and training it’s staff. They have a surprisingly extensive selection of beers and their happy hour is unsurpassed IMO. I’ve only seen the food other people have ordered but visually it’s a good looking interpretation of modern North American pub food. I use the patio and it’s nice place to unwind. When it gets chilly they have a great heater system. It’s a really fantastic bar with great staff.

I will definitely wont recommend this restaurant.
The food was so so and the service was bad.
My friend and I waited over 50 mins for our food and when we asked about the food, the waiter replied he did not know cause the kitchen was too busy. However, back then the restaurant was not even 1/3 occupied.
Will sure won't come back and hope you guys be careful when you decide to go.

All of the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and we even got to play music bingo! Overall a great evening. We had a small issue with our bills being mixed up but I can't wait to visit again!

My favorite pub! Amazing service, delicious food and so many beverage options. They allow dogs on the patio. Servers are all so friendly and have excellent customer service.

Horrible customer experience. Zero stars Very rude bar staff. Poor customer relations training. I Was told that my patronage was not required and that I should go get a drink at home as the young irish bar tender had too much business. He did like to be faulted for poor customer service. I was a VIP member since they opened, not any more. I will be speaking with management.

Waited at the hostess stand for over 10 minutes without being acknowledge. Multiple staff members hanging around and passing by. Left for another restaurant.

Been going to this lovely and amazing pub for years now and this is mine and my buddy's spot to go. Best service no question! It's really their highlight for sure as I've always been looked after every time i went there and the food is just awesome too. And i can walk home after also and to have an amazing local pub like this where i don't have to go far is just priceless. I hope to be there for many years to go! Cheers all:)

Been to this place three times now, usually after work. Service was always decent, though a few issues the last time we visited. The waitress was sweet, but was forgetful and just too fast bouncing between tables. Kept coming to our table to check on us (when it was not required), while my friends respond yes and when I actually need something to order, she immediately turns around and walks away before I can ask her/show her the menu, also was never asked what I wanted for a main course. My friends then have to would call her back, so as to not ignore me.
This made delays in ordering food.
Later, an hour before closing, I asked her if I can order a take out item 10-15 minutes before closing, she happily said yes. So when I did order, she supposedly ‘took’ my order down and when we got our bills, my bill was lesser than I expected and found out that she never took my take-out order down. Asked her again, she said she will talk with the kitchen but then comes a few minutes later with some ‘entering into the system’ excuse or something. I was a bit annoyed with this, but overall me and my small group had a good time (it was one of their’s birthday) and food was good. I really wanted that take-out: (

First time at a Carlos O'Bryan's but long long time customer of Kelly O'Bryans they are sister restaurants and the food is just as amazing as Kelly O's staff was super friendly service was really quick, food order came quickly and correct! The steak sandwich inhad was perfect.normally when you order any kind of steak at a restaurant it's either just undercooked or just overcooked what you order my medium rare steak sandwich was spot on medium rare I was really pleased. My wife said her fish and ponchos were really tasty flakey and juicy.
Overall really impressed with the service will totally be going back and recommending to my friends and family to go to that location

Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It was very busy in there when we stopped in which didn't hinder our service, a little extra wait time for our food but the service kept the drinks coming.

Usually such a big fan of Carlos but we just had a really disappointing dinner here. Server hardly came by to ask how things were tasting, if we needed anything, etc. Flatbread was so dry I thought they had forgotten the sauce on it, couldn't eat more than one piece of it. Pachos were cooked quite crispy, to the point that they were sharp and cut your mouth if you tried to eat them and they weren't the soft cheesy snack I looked forward to. So sad to write this review.

I regularly stop by buying some food in this place. I enjoy the rapid customer service and well cooked dishes. They never disappoint.

Food was alright but covid protocols were not being followed. A lot of tables had parties of 6 that clearly didn't live together. Also the first place I've seen allow communal games like the pool table. It was not a comfortable and safe feeling dining experience

Excellent happy hour twice a day! 3-6 and after 9. It’s very spacious and booths have natural high walls between them. Excellent place to see friends when you can’t have them over.
Staff is super friendly and attentive. Once you come a second time, you’re no longer a stranger.
I haven’t really had food outside of the happy hour menu, but even there, some items are addictive! McCracken rolls and pochos, the latter a must very time we come. Birthday discount is the best in town and they have a VIP loyalty program as well.
Bring the kids too, menu does have a wide variety, colouring for the kids and place is welcoming for them.
There’s outside seating too and they have heaters now if you’re weary about dining inside.

Great service. Great happy hour. Food is delicious. Clean, safe, sanitized. Following all the covid related guidelines. Fun atmosphere, all ages.

I often go for lunch at this location if I'm working in the area. The serving staff is wonderful, the food is amazing and the ownership has been very compatent with the Covid rules that seem to change every month or so! My Butter Chicken on Tuesday was incredible. Truly a warm bar where everyone knows your name.

One of my preferred places to eat.fantastic location, well kept, and good customer service. I highly recommend them!

The servers are nice, a little too crowded. Food isn't anything special.
When their sister property opened in New West. It was much better. Menu had more to offer.

This place sure knows how to serve their clients. Constantly with a very friendly approach. The food is reasonably priced, always fresh and clean.

Not a lot of pubs in Vancouver pour a proper pint on Guinness. This place however does. Good patio for fresh air. I feel safe going here during these times. Safety and cleaning measure are put in place.

Man, I love the people here, I enjoy coming here. I'm totally unclear why one server tried to pull a fast one during the day shift and pre-tipped the highest % possible. I totally get it, she's hurting, but it's completely dishonest.

Coming from Kelowna, the atmosphere is definitely different than the Kelowna locations, but the food is just as good.

Had the lips and stuffed mushrooms to start, they were excellent and on our table within ten minutes. My bfs beer never went empty and the pints are cold as hell and draft is so fresh. Our server an Australian? Girl was so attentive and gracious. All the staff help each other and run and bus each others food and drinks to insure exceptional service. He had the Dublin stack with pachos and I had the 12oz prime rib rare with the champ style potatoe as mains.

Every thing came out in a timely fashion fresh and hot. Oh and good lord that prime rib thou!

If you come on the day of ur bday after 4pm u get 30$ off one meal item with legitimate photo id of course!
