Carls Flower Company Penticton went above and beyond for me. I was trying to get a gift-basket delivered but no one was at the address and no one was answering their phone. They sorted it out and made a few calls and got everything delivered. Their service is excellent!

Flowers were lovely, but unfortunately they were delivered on the wrong day: a full week early, completely missing the event being celebrated. I emailed to inquire what happened, and never received a response. Following up with a phone call, I was told: yeah we messed up, but tough luck on the date, you got flowers and you should be so lucky. Refusing to do anything about it.

I am from out of town and ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered. One of the busiest times of the year for flowers and the service was fantastic. The person who helped me on the phone was amazing, helpful, cheery and accomdating.

I'd like to share with everyone the exceptional service and quality we discovered with carl's flowers!
My husband and I were married on Sept 20/21. My husband is Scottish. Our red roses. White tea roses, thistle and many more gorgeous flowers were presented to us in the most beautiful bouquet, boutinere and guest flowers. I am in awe of the beautiful design and quality. We were very happy. I know you would be as well.

Beautiful flowers and excellent customer service! I don't live in town but ordered a bouquet delivery for my aunt's birthday through Carl's Flowers very easily online. My aunt was unable to accept the delivery on the scheduled day, but they called me to let me know and arranged for a fresh bouquet to be delivered the following business day. I really appreciated that they went above and beyond to make sure my Auntie got her flowers. She sent a picture and they were gorgeous. I'll definitely be recommending this service to other friends and family.

Ordered flowers for my wife's birthday online, the flowers never showed nor did i get a notification as to why. When I called in on Monday to ask for a refund I got no apology or explanation. Terrible and unprofessional service, we used Carl's Flowers for all our special occasions but I guess repeat customers are not worth their time or effort.

I don't live in Penticton anymore and wanted to order flowers for my Mother. I called Carl's to place an order for the Awesome Alstromeria arrangement (Left) found on their website. I paid extra to add roses to complement the arrangement. The bouquet of flowers came to $85 + tax. The arrangement received was.sad (Right). I contacted the shop and the lady on the phone insisted I got what I ordered and eventually told me if I was unhappy I could get a refund. At least I got my money back but what a complete waste of my time. I sent an email to the shop to inform them of what happened. I have yet to receive a response.

Long story short, find a different flower company in Penticton to handle your floral needs!

I ordered flowers from Carl's for my mom's 60th birthday a few weeks ago. They were $100 plus tax and delivery fees, and there was supposed to be loads of red in it. The person I spoke with on the phone joked that that wouldn't be an issue since it was almost Valentine's Day, and said she'd add a big "Happy Birthday" balloon too. That's not at all what they delivered. My mom explained that what showed up was 6 red carnations with some greenery and filler, all placed in a comically large vase. "I hope you don't think I'm complaining, " my mom said, "but either there's been a mistake, or you've been ripped off. This looks like a $10 bouquet from Safeway. I know you would have spent more than that so I thought you should know not to order from that florist again. "

That seemed odd to me, and nothing like what I ordered, so I called Carl's and asked if they could look into it. We all make mistakes sometimes, and I know things are busy around Valentine's Day. Sharon took my name and number and said she'd get back to me. It's been a week and no one was called me back. I'm really disappointed by the quality of the product that Carl's delivered, and that they didn't make any effort to make this right.

I recommend ordering from the Enchanted Florist instead.

If there was an option to give a zero star review it would apply here. I have been attempting correspondence with this business via the "contact us" form on their website and then the email address that was eventually provided to me when they finally responded (I use this method of correspondence so that I have a trail of conversations rather than off the record phone calls). I sent two messages using the website asking them to address my complaint with the subpar arrangement that was delivered to my family member for Christmas. I placed my order Dec 3 to be delivered Dec 21, knowing it is a busy time and wanting to give them lots of notice. The website advertised an arrangement with at least five bigget red flowers, some smaller ones, and some Christmas greenery and red and gold decorations. It did specify that it wouldn't appear exactly as shown and I was not expecting a replica, but at least something similar. They delivered a basket with nothing but an over abundance of greenery I could pull off my trees and a few white flowers with peacock colored decorations that then started wilting two days later. I contacted them twice between Dec 22 and Dec 28 using the website to explain the situation and ask that my complaint be addressed. I received a response on Dec 28 just asking for pictures and providing an email address to send them to, no apology or acknowledgement of my disappointment. I sent the pictures Dec 29 and have received no reply whatsoever. I emailed on January 5 asking them to respond and sent another follow up email again this morning. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Not impressed, I had asked and double checked my instructions were understood but in the end flowers delivered 2 hours before requested and website prices were different from what was charged.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with this organization on several different occasions. When I sent flowers last year to my aunt, she kept sending me pictures showing me how beautiful the flowers were, how they just kept blooming and how long they lasted. It made me so happy to see how much she was able to enjoy this special gift of flowers.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE - I ordered a Holiday centrepiece for our friends and requested Carls contact the recipients to arrange a delivery time. When they could not reach our friends, who unbeknownst to me were away from home, they postponed the delivery and instead delivered a gorgeous cheerful centrepiece in early January. Thank you so much for going above and beyond with exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this florist.

We contacted Sheryn to help embellish a wedding reception coming up in just 3 weeks, she and her staff did a beautiful job deciphering what we wanted to do, as we were in California and the reception was in Penticton! The arrangements for the garland backdrop behind our brides table and the extra attention to detail with the table arrangements did so much more than embellish the room. The entire staff was easy to work with and produced a very happy Bride! Thank you, Thank you! We will definitely call on you all again in the future.

If I could give a zero star, I would. My son ordered a mothers day arrangement with delivery. I was going out of town so I went in on the Friday and said, leave it till next week and I will pick it up. Doing them a HUGE favour as they now had 4 days after mothers day. She showed me a picture of the $70 arrangement he ordered. Lovely. Went in the Wednesday after to pick it up. They hadn't even STARTED it! When I said, at this point can you just refund him, she reached into the fridge and pulled out an arrangement that was NOTHING like the picture she showed me the Friday before mothers day. Had 4 gerber daisys, some cheap lillies and a couple of carnations with ONE rose.yup $70. NEVER again will i order or anyone I know order from here. I did THEM a favour.and still got ripped off.

When you are paying for the florist services preparing for your wedding day, you expect perfection. Unfortunately, my experience with Carls Flowers was far from that. The customer service was good but they did not deliver! I was very very disappointed with how my bridal bouquet looked. The flowers were very fresh, however the look of the bouquet was not even close to what I expected and what the reference picture presented (I sent them a photo to work off) and my bouquet was very simple - moistly roses and hydrangea, no sophisticated design was required. But my bouquet looked like a bunch of flowers put together randomly without any creativity or much thought put into it. Luckily I didn't put all my eggs in one bucket and had purchased flowers from elsewhere and was able to rearrange the bouquet myself! I was not very happy to be doing that in the morning of my wedding when I spent over $175 for the bouquet and probably another $400 on other flowers. And I should’ve just gotten my flowers from Costco because they lasted way longer than most of their roses. Do not recommend!

Went in to the store to place an order for my wedding back in January. Had a lovely conversation with Colleen, who professionally guided me through bouquets etc. Both stars are attributed to Colleen for her exceptional service. Had seen a friend's bouquet in wedding photos and was wowed. Was told I would get a phone call to work out a quote. Did not hear anything, phoned a couple of times, left messages, still have not heard back. I don't know if they are too busy to call me, or too busy to do my little order, I have no idea cause it's been months and no one is talking to me. I can't wait any longer, I'm going somewhere else, who gave me same day quote. I have to be able to plan and count on vendors!

I was very disappointed with the service at Carl’s flowers, one of my best friends mother passed away, I wanted to send flowers to her as I was unable to attend the service on the coast. I pain stakenly went through their web site and found two arrangements, pure pleasures and purple pleasures, I.iked the low profile of the purple pleasure arrangement but wanted it in the pure pleasure co.ors, soft champagne, peach and a little white. I called directly and spoke with the lady on the phone, I was very explicit in what I wanted. She-even confirmed that I wanted the low profile with Champaign soft colours. I paid for the flowers with delivery and was told hey would go out the next day. Apperantly they don’t deliver to my friends area? Instead of calling me and asking how I wanted to handle this they called my friend said that there was an arrangement for pick up that they were to deliver te flowers but she was out of their delivery area, who picks up thief own sympathy flowers! She said her husband could pick them up on his way home. They called her a second time and asked if he could not pick them up until the following day late in the day as they were waiting for their flower delivery. When I called them to ask if the flowers were delivered a few days later I was informed of all what had happened! I stated that they should have contacted me with the changes not my friend, I could have called her husband, on top of that they had already charged me the delivery fee, so they took it upon themselves to just add a couple more flowers to make up the difference. As I have purchased flowers for friends before and have not been very impressed, I asked the lady on the phone yo send me a picture of the arrangement. It was very nice, but not at all what I ordered. It was all white round and tall, no champagne flowers or any other colour, they stuffed large hydrangeas in it, when I called back and asked what happened to the arrangement I had ordered they said, it was a lot larger with more flowers in it. It would be very nice when you spend a lot of time scoping out all the arrangements on someone’s web site and they desire what they want to make anyway. Very disappointed!
