This is a wonderful place with excellent and timely service. They fixed my car promptly and beautifully. Tom was outstanding and office people, especially Marjorie, were stellar. I highly recommend this place!

I just want to give a huge thanks to Kris and Tom for all of their help and professionalism during this stressful time. The repairs took some time although my claim was rather large with a lot of moving parts. Their communication was good and I got my jeep back to like new condition how it was before. Highly recommend them, they are busy but the work is worth it.

Although, hopefully I don’t ever have to come here again Big thanks to everyone who worked on my jeep! I appreciate you all.

I brought my car in to get the bumper fixed after a fender bender and they fixed ALL scrapes despite not being in the immediate area of impact. To my untrained eye, the shop is able to do an accurate paint match Honda's White Orchid Pearl on my Honda Accord. I was so pleased with the bumper fix that so I also filed a comprehensive claim to fix 50 dents on the car from falling acorns.

They just did half the job. Volontarily ignore some of the damages for no reason. Also didn't do other jobs as requested. Now first thing i gotta do is go to another body shop and finish the job. Wouldn't recommend.

The customer service is top-notch and the work is done quickly and well.

I've been a customer for several years and they're the best auto shop I've ever used.

From replacing shattered windows to fixing brakes, they've gone above and beyond to offer me the best service at the best price.

Long wait to get my car fixed but it's worth the wait! They did an awesome job with the repair, excellent customer service, and cleaned my car too Great job guys!

Beyond the damages from my accident, they fixed every little scratches on my car, vacuumed the interior, tucked the wiring in for my dashcam better than I could’ve ever done myself, and explained my insurance policy to me in detail to clear up any confusion.

The car was honestly in a better condition than when I picked it up brand new from the dealership a year and a half ago.

We bring the car in and all we want is just update us as to whats going on. We understand if they are busy but when customer like us would just want update there is no way you can tell to your customer to "MOVE TO ANOTHER BODY SHOP". We wasted a day and 2 more days as transfer from one body shop to another is about 2 - 3 days. First of all if your busy you can just tell us over the phone that you can not accomodate us period so we wont bring the car in.

Hope you wont do this with your other customer. Totally not impressed, ICBC is aware of how we were treated.

Under-Promised and Over-Delivered - we had an amazing experience with Ivan's Auto Body! Not only did they do the body work we had agreed to - the work was done faster than promised AND they cleaned the entire car top to bottom. Also, very quickly fixed a persnickety clip issue with a trim piece on the passenger front door that for years, no one else had been able to deal with! Kris and his team were extremely helpful and friendly when dealing with my Subaru repair. The receptionist was a joy to deal with. Everyone provided all the information required and I always felt like I was in good hands. Would recommend to anyone!

It’s been two days since I got my car from Ivan’s auto shop and WOW I COULDNT BE MORE THANKFUL TO THEM AND SOO HAPPY FOR WHAT THEYVE DONE TO MY CAR!
A little background of my experience, I had collision withmy 2020honda civic hatchback and through icbc claim, they told me to find a shop that will suit the conveniency for me and or if I know any shop who can accommodate the damage. I searched some shops online and I stumbled upon this family owned car shop called Ivans Shop because it was the closes to my house. AND WOW I HAD NO REGRETS FOR CHOOSING IT! It was a great choice and very fortunate to have found them
So I got my car towed to them. Then After a few days, and icbc had resolve my claim, Icbc called me around 6pm. Right after I hang up on them, Chris from the auto shop called me immediately and gave me a heads up that I could have a courtesy car from them. He was very nice and has true definition of customer service! I talked to him and I said, I am really in need of car. He then stated that their shop was already closed sunce 530 but HE WAS WILLING TO WAIT FOR ME to get there! When I got there, he explained to me very thoroughly what’s going to happen to my car and what they are going to do to it. Of course I was really worried that my brand new car wouldnt be the same after the accident. But damn Chris went above and beyond and made my car looking brand new again. Not only he fixed the damages, he also made sure I wont have to wait longer to have my baby car back. They are very fast and effiencient and they did very excellent jobs on my car. He guaranteed that my car will be able to drive safely as Chris checked eveything throughly. Chris also guaranteed me that if anything comes up, that I would just give them a call and they will be on it. It’s just so nice to know that there’s stil la shop like that you can fully trust especially nowawayds. Anyways, long story short, I got my car back and has been drivinf it for two and it runs perfectly and without any fails! Not only I got my car driving like brand new again, they also cleaned the inside and out of my car and looking like brand new again. I ALSO WANNA THANK MARJORIE THE FRONT COUNTER REPRESENTATIVE FOR ACCOMMODATING ME SUPER WELL. I HAD SO MANY QUESTIONS TO HER BUY SHE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND ANSWERED ALL OF THEM. Chris and Marjorie are amazing! I cant be more thankful for all your hardworks and passion to help! I will definitely recommend you guys! I will see you soon!:)

This place is excellent. The people are friendly and professional, and they had my damaged car fixed perfectly in just two days! They cheerfully showed up a half-hour earlier than they usually open so I could bring my car in before work. They gave me a very satisfactory courtesy car to drive in the meantime. They even cleaned my car for me, both inside and outside. I hope I won't need this kind of help again anytime soon - but if I do, I will choose them again.

I do not recommend going to this company or doing any business with this company since the only focus on Toyota's this company is very incompetent and couldn't change a bumper on a Chevy express Van all they need is a take the bolts out and replaced the bumper saw you had to do genius over there to fix my car but you didn't and you refuse to looks at to fix it I don't know why was ICB C claim anyway I guess they're rich and they don't need the money

I had an ICBC claim for my car that needed repair on the passenger back side. I first went and had photos taken of the damage and then they promptly contacted me and booked an appointment. They gave me a loaner car that was pristine and were SO efficient with everything, Kris was great with keeping me updated. Marjorie even stayed late for me (past closing) to pick up my car and assured me if any issues arose to contact them. Will be going here from now on & recommending to my friends/family!

I totally recommend this carshop! The service is excellent! My car was made excellently! The people here are very friendly and professional especially the manager named Marjorie. She is a very kind and nice lady who always have a friendly smile to their clients! I will not hesitate to change my car service and stick in their Shop! This is one of the best car repair shop in Vancouver! Job well done for their team!

My new car was hit while parked in front of my house and I thought that it was forever going to be not the same. However Carstar found a factory door and replaced very quickly so it is essentially a new car. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. I totally recommend this place. They took my ram truck that was hit on the passenger side had severe dent and door damage as well as paint. They gave me a call within the first week they took my truck and kept me updated on the progress. Within 2 weeks to repair was done.mazing clean work, they also replaced the running boards with original parts. Thank you very much guys great work!

Really satisfied with the service. My truck window was broken, and Marjorie was able to order in the replacement window that day and have it installed.

The truck was returned with all of the broken glass removed, and interior tidy.

Stopped by for a windshield quote, as I am doing a out of province inspection and my windshield is broken. Worker came out and looked at window saying doesn’t look bad, I let him know again I need it for out of province inspection. Worker takes down all my info, a week later and still have not heard back

A very late review, but much needed. While I was very upset at the overall outcomes, I had refrained from writing a review for a number years. I had an accident close by this auto body shop, and being a bit shaken from the accident I decided to go to the one closest with a relatively decent review.

All said and done, the car was repaired, but it was not without a few key frustrating points.

After picking up the vehicle, having expect excellence craftsmanship I had signed the paper and be on my way. I was assured if there were any issues to come back to the shop. I personally had the utmost respect for these folks due to the warm greeting and their customer service from the beginning.

Within a half a day of driving, not more than 10-20km, I noticed that something was off. The brake pedal had the a little "hop" during compression. I was a bit worried that there were further mechanical issues, so I took it back to the shop.

I've went back to the shop and explained the situation, understandably the person took the car around and began testing the vehicle based on the symptoms I have explained. He did not find any issue he would confidently and defiantly claimed. I continued to be persistent and said there was an issue, and it is a SAFETY concern. Back and forth it went, though I'm not sure why he appears to take my concerns as an insult to his professionalism. In the end the worker (perhaps the owner, or someone related, I forgot) said it is not an issue and the car is behaving as expected. I did not let that go because (first off) it had to do with my brake pedals! I wasn't going to leave with such a poor excuse and no next action for resolution.amongst a few other worker they figured I was extremely upset at this point in time so we landed at a mutual agreement that if I take my car to a certified mechanic and they find an issue they will reimburse the cost of the repair. First off, THANK YOU to that person for LISTENING and for being RATIONAL along with PROFESSIONAL, but the experience has already been soured.

** Just as a bit of courtesy, if this was always an option, please do not say there is no option and the car is functioning as expected in an attempt to brush a worried customer **

I took the car to the mechanic as instructed, and explained to them the situation. The mechanic understood and at the same time baffled at my experience (they also was surprised at why the shop was so defensive when they were really.not doing a good job.at their job) Within a few hours my mechanic gave me a call and told me that an issue was identified. A broken part was discovered related to my brake pedal! In short, the cost settlement was handled between my mechanic and this auto body shop, but thankfully the issue has been resolved. This was all that I hope for, my vehicle to be fixed to a level that I feel SAFE to drive.

I was not in the business of being overly critical of anyone's workmanship or expertise in an area that I am not specialized in. I do like to mention that I have grown affinity to my car's drive and feel and when things do not feel right, I have to voice out my concerns. Similar to how I am doing it now - albeit several years later.

This experience has been persisted in my memory not because of it being excellent service, but a source of frustration particularly when I was in a very vulnerable position.

Needless to mention, I was very critical at the end having lost all trust in this company and noticed a few plastic cover pieces missing.seriously. Attention to details CARSTAR.attention to details.this issue was resolved by them. So pat in the back for doing something right after one HUGE wrong.

Top notch body shop. Highly recommended by other high end autobody shops and I would personally recommend this place to anyone ranging from commuter cars to high end cars (911 turbo, wrx STI, Mercedes AMG etc). Professional service from everyone. Kris is awesome. Marjorie is very friendly. Reliable, great work, honest.

I've come to Ivan's twice now for window repairs when I've had them broken into and both times have been impressed with the Ivan's teams care and speed. Their office manager Marjorie is lovely and takes the time to make sure she's finding the customer the best deal on the part and with the quickest turn around time. They're lifesavers and great to deal with! Highly recommend!

Ivan and his son Kris did awesome and fair work but the real star was the very helpful and friendly Marjorie. Overall it was a top level experience. And though you usually never wish to go back to an autobody place. If I have too Ivans will be my only choice.
