Cascadia Liquor - Quadra

Clean store and good service. Focus of store is on liquors and wines. Staff is knowledgeable and can help with recommendations. They carry some craft beer, but their selection can be limited in comparison to other stores in town.

Fantastic selection. Helpful Employees. Pet friendly. Clean. Relaxed. Well lit. I have high recommendations for this location for any local visitors. I did not get any photos sadly but I have faith all other photos from other reviewers are suitable enough!

Excellent friendly and knowledgeable staff! Clean store! You can bring your dogs inside! I dont drink anymore so I was just there for moral support. The only thing weird is nothing was really cascading, I expected to at least see like a giant fountain centrepiece with booze cascading out of the stone statue. I was however high on mushrooms so maybe i missed it? Maybe they had the cascading turned off that night? Or maybe it was all tucked away somewhere over in the corner where that dark patch was lingering with the two red glowing eyes and a voice speaking to me telepathically asking if i could go get it some McDonalds french fries? Who knows? All I can really say about this is "Bing Bong! Bing Bong! Bing Bong! "

This craft beer store has an amazing selection. If you can't find what you came for, you're probably going to leave with something even better. Prices are comparable to other stores of this type.

Cascadia is a medium sized store with a pretty good selection. Store carries quite a few local distillers.

Nice selection (in particular the local variety and liquors) have tastings too when they aren't busy and excellent service

Got talking with Austin about port, BC reds, & super tuscan wines. Excellent service, fantastic attitude, thank you for being such a great store with great employees!

Let's compare it to the BCLS. Prices are competitive. Staff are well trained and actually can make good recommendations. Apparently the owner gets the staff to taste their different products, and tells them about them. Pretty cool. Also, with the new addition they have a huge selection.

This was my go to liquor store when I lived near quadra village! The staff were great, friendly, open and pretty funny! Plus they have a good selection of alcohol!

Only place in town (that I've found) that carries my favorite Shabbat wine, Efrat red wine. It is so very good. Staff and very helpful.

I've gone to this liquor store for many years, and it does some things right. Great selection, good location (especially the new one!) and decent prices. However, it has gotten to the point where I don't want to go in anymore because the customer service has gotten really fake and overbearing.

It starts with the forced "hello" that you can tell none of the cashiers actually want to have to do, *every single time*. A hello here and there when you come in is a nice thing. A fake, forced hello, even to the point of interrupting the customer who is actually being served, comes off incredibly false and corporate. We can tell that your manager made you do it, and it doesn't feel natural or welcoming.

But the real last straw for me was when today, I was asked no less than 5 times if I needed help with anything, a few of which were from the same employee, and in a very forceful insincere manner. Asking people if they need help is great, but forcing it down their throat so much that they can't even have time to think about what they want is not. Again, it comes off very forced and overbearing, and it reeks of fake corporate "customer service" that I'd expect at a WalMart or a McDonalds.

I've started to take my business elsewhere, and I see that trend continuing. I just don't want to be pestered so much when I'm shopping, and there seems to be no "reading the room" to be found at this location.

Beautiful looking new store with much increased selection over old location. They appear to have a tasting bar area in the wine section which would be an interesting new addition.
