Cascadia Liquor - Colwood

Craft beer selection pales to no other. I think they sell other liquor there too.:)

The store is nice and well orginized. Young lady who works there helped me with the purchase of local beer and some wine.

Good little store that was convenient to stop at while I was in the plaza for something else. Some of the items were more expensive than other liquor stores.

It Was really awesome till the casher asked my military husband and I to pull are masks Down, both of us Having both BC drivers licenses and government issued military IDS I felt singled out after watching the 4 customers before us not be asked to do the same, I asked if it was necessary she rudely told us we had to.it felt very unsafe and I will never be coming back to this location. Not to mention they do not offer military discounts when many others do.

Had a bad experience when the cashier asked me to take my mask off while she verified my ID, I asked if that was necessary she replied with yes, so I pulled it down while she looked at my ID, I put it back on after she had a good look at my ID, she then asks for me to take my mask off again while she looks at it another time so I do it, then put mask back on, she then hands my bc drivers license and bc services card with recent photos of myself to her co worker to check, her co worker then asks me to remove my mask a third time, I kindly asked for my ID back and left. Store was packed with very little social distancing. Liquor store staff should not be asking people to take their mask
off 3 times in packed store. I’ve been to this cascadia several times during the pandemic and never had this problem in the past.
