We went to the Business, Castrol Lube Express, to use the Groupon and get an Oil Change when the Business Owner/Leon informed us they were no longer affiliated with Groupon and refused to accept the Groupon and advised us to contact Groupon for a Refund

I don't know the person's name but he identified himself as the Business Owner of Castrol Lube Express, later found out his name is apparently Leon, and, as above, informed us they were no longer affiliated with Groupon and refused to accept the Groupon and advised us to contact Groupon for a Refund

I hope a Refund can be issued quickly so that I can instead purchase another Groupon for an Oil Change from Zoom Lube, it would be good if Groupon could also offer some compensation for this inconvenience as I had to drive all the way to the Business just to find out they wouldn't accept the Groupon and now spend extra time trying to get this Refund. Infact this isn't the first poor experience I've had with this Business, I bought 2 of this Groupon in 2023-JUN and tried to use one on the same day 2023-JUN but when we arrived at the Castrol Lube Express the same Business Owner, apparently his name is Leon, said he was too busy to take us and we'd have to comeback another time. I then came back 2023-JUL and did successfully use 1 of my 2 Groupons but was charged a lot of extra charges including an exorbitant amount for an Oil Filter. This Business is a sham and I'm glad they are no longer affiliated with Groupon as they make Groupon look bad. I hope Groupon can make this experience right for me as through no fault of my own I've had a really bad experience dealing with this Business and trying to use this Groupon.

I have been using their service for more than 3-years. They are honest and give you reasonable advices. I suggested them to my 3-friends and they also agree with a good service.

One thing I would add, don't buy groupon coupon, just call them and tell them you saw coupon, they match the coupon price.

The guys at Castrol Lube and filter will really go out of there way to make sure your vehicle is is completely given the once over and will make sure you leave the bay satisfied. Leon is the best.thanks guys I can always depend on Castrol to get my car done right.

I went there with a Groupon for oil change and the owner or manager did not honour it, even after I suggested to pay the difference to a regular charge. His excuses were not convincing and I am not going there for any service anymore.

The Groupon is a scam and a bait and switch. The fine print states only Euro cars are excluded but in store they will tell you that domestic SUVs also require much more labour than a car. I was able to have Groupon refund me but buyer beware - price for a conventional oil change is $80 with tax.

Get my oil changed on both my cars regularly and any other service under the hood, also have had my brakes done as well, very nice and professional

My go-to shop for oil changes. Fast, reliable, affordable, and most importantly this place has Leon. Having a mechanic who genuinely cares about providing honest and reliable service SHOULD be the standard, but so many places fall far very from this benchmark. Since day 1 of visiting this place I’ve always felt I was in good hands with Leon. Super friendly and informative and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Leon is the best! So friendly, helpful, and genuine. Went for an oil change with the Groupon, and even with the extra cost, it’s still cheaper than Mr. Lube (and a much more pleasant experience). I’ll be back again: D

Bought a groupon & when got there the manager said it doesn’t apply to suv’s, nothing in the fine print. Obvious bait & switch as they bank on you still going through with the service. Suv’s are half the vehicles out there so doesn’t make sense they list other restrictions & not the fact suv’s aren’t welcome. I walked away without the service out of principle.

Side note - skip the group on if you’re not familiar with your cars requirements or not reading the groupon details. In store price is likely better anyway and doesn’t have groupon fees.

My orange oil change light came on last week and I started to worry. I noticed the Castrol sticker from the dealer said June 20,2023. I needed to get it done soon and could not wait for the dealer. I read the great reviews on Google and decided on this location. Leon was great in every way possible. I will return for other issues. Thanks Leon!

This business restored my faith in humanity and that there exists honest people in this world. As a matter of fact I would give them a ten star rating if I could. The light in my Honda told me I needed an oil change. I went there for the first time and they checked my oil and told me it was still good for another 1,000 kilometers. They reset the warning light and put a new sticker reminder, gave me a smile and told me to have a good day.
Any other business would have made money and changed the oil!

The man that works here is so kind and helpful. I have gone here a couple times and it is the only place I will go for an oil change now

SCAM! Don’t buy any coupon from Groupon to go this store. People in store are impolite. Find a different oil change store.

I've been coming back to this place for years because of the great service and prices. Leon is the only mechanic that I completely trust. Highly recommend this shop.

Just had a really great experience with Leon and Tohmo. I find some mechanics to be money gougers. And so I had read the reviews and wasn't let down! Spoke to Leon about an oil change as it had been 10,000km since my last, and he very honesty told me it wasn't ready to be changed yet. I will 110% be back to get my oil changed when the time comes.
