The ambiance was good, location looks amazing in the summer though. Staff were so nice and very friendly.
The food was decent

The place was very cozy and the music not to loud. They have a gluten free menu. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They could have had a little more avocado in the salad. Over all a nice experience. The gluten free calamari would have been better if they had used GF bread crumbs instead of being plain.

Amazing food and service, view is beautiful. I live in alberta but this is the second time coming here. And will return year after year.

After checking out the fresh fish market on the dock, we decided to pop into Catch Kitchen and Bar. We sat on the patio overlooking the water. The views were absolutely stunning. We sat there for hours basking in the sun, watching the otters, people, and boats. The service was slow, the food was good, and the drinks were marvelous. Such a great way to spend a day.

Really nice waitstaff and the menu had something for everybody. Also appreciate that they were open later on a Sunday and didn't close early.

Had lunch on a Saturday. Good menu to choose from. I had their fish & and chips, and my cousin had the eggs bennie. We both really enjoyed our meals. Food was served quickly, and our server looked after us very well. I will definitely be back and recommend it highly. Fabulous water view!

Overall nice atmosphere and pleasant server. However the Santa Fe salad was overly sour and the chicken was really dry. We asked the server to pass our comments to the chef. Not sure if that happened.

Good
1) Food. Everyone in my party of 9 really enjoyed the food. The portion are generous, and tasted great. Also, price is pretty good for what you get. And the selection is varied (ie not just seafood)

2) Location. Great view of Stevenson waters and pier. Nicely located right at end of pier, so an after eating walk.

3) Atmosphere. With good food and great views, this a good place to have a small to medium size group of friends dinner.

Bad
1) Parking. You can't really park at the restaurant. Very few spots. Free parking is across the street. Not far but could be hassle.

2) It's on the second floor. To get to the restaurant, you'll have to climb a set of stairs to get to the second floor. I didn't see an elevator, so be aware.

3) Smallish restaurant. While it's big enough to place, it did feel cramped getting everyone seated and moving in and out of seats. Helps with the atmosphere, not so much for moving to and fro from your table.

So it makes the big points for a restaurant with the food, view, and atmosphere but little things kinda keep it from greatness and in this case, 5 stars.

Beautiful location but don't expect service or quality. The server we had looked absolutely miserable, she looked like she would rather be anywhere else which didn't make you feel welcome while having a special lunch with family.

We tried to ask the male server/buser something and he says "ya what do you want". Very unprofessional and somewhat rude.

Food is ok but not great. Seafood linguine had a lot of tomatoes and very little seafood.

It seems like they count on the view to get customers and make very little effort to make you feel welcome and more like a burden. Not a good first impression. Won't be back.

Enjoyed the Mussels steamed in White Wine with Rosemary Foccasia. Need to keep going back to experience more on the Menu.

I booked a Friday night reservation for four online for a birthday dinner and requested a view table if possible. When we arrived we were provided with a great table in the corner with a superb harbour view.
Our server Ray was really excellent and recommended a very good wine to enjoy with our appies. The food we ordered was all delicious and arrived in a timely fashion. My halibut was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. We all really enjoyed our evening at Catch.

If you don't have dietary restrictions, by all means, come by this restaurant - great food and service.

But if you have gallbladder issues, please kindly choose another restaurant.

Good food. Service was lacking. They were busy but had us waiting for our check for 20 minutes and left our glasses wanting for water. We paid full price for the entree of miso glazed black cod when we asked for just the black cod - no sides.

Pretty good spot if you like seafood and also want some great views. They do have a nice patio but can also have a good view from inside. The food was yummy and the service provided was good.

Great food and fantastic service. We were demanding in what view we wanted and they were very friendly about it. The views from the patio is worth waiting to be seated outside.
Salmon burger and the black cod fish and chips are both excellent.

Nice views, parking was a bit of a pain but not that's typical in the area. Steak was meh but overall, decent food and experience.

A must try when cruising the boardwalk, food was incredible and fresh, drinks were solid as well. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable, made the experience that much more enjoyable. We couldn’t believe how affordable the prices were compared to many other restaurants back home, well worth it for the high quality.

It was OK. No air conditioning therefore it was hot especially after walking around, finding a parking spot.
The cod was thick, not overcooked, very flaky and delicious. Service wasn't terrible

Simply cooked meals, friendly service - but a little slow, great spot to catch the sunset by the water and delicious cocktails, especially the lychee martini!

Nice view overlooking the entire wharf! A bit salty with my linguini. Perhaps next time I should request for less salt.)

First time being to catch and it was a nice cozy place. Overlooks the water and they have a nice patio. We had a bigger group so we sat inside but next to the window. Food was good and everything had great taste and the portion sizes were big. The only thing our table thought was a negative was that service was kinda slow. Might have been a miscommunication of when we wanted mains to come out, but we waited awhile for them.

It was my first here. It is located by the waterfront which is really great to catch the sunset view with your dinner. The service was excellent and food was also good. I really recommend this place.

Servers are extremely slow and look so miserable, the overall energy to this place is so off. Most of them seem like they dont enjoy the job at all.

What an incredible lunch, the mussels appy was to die for, my caesar was so tasty and the fish and chips were more than filling and so delicious!

Service was slow eventhough it was not busy. The servers were chatting with each other. Food tastes simple. Nice patio view though.

The Sockeye Salmon on a Brioche Bun was tasty.the Salmon was moist and tender. A choice of Bun / Bread would be a nice option, as the Brioche became very soft, unable to hold the filling. I initially wanted the Fish Tacos but the fish was battered so I asked if I could have the fish grilled instead. I was told that the fish was pre-prepared and my request could not be met. I've had Fish Tacos in other restaurants and made this request with no problem.as I say, it would be a nice option to offer customers, particularly for those wishing or needing to refrain from battered and fried foods.

Great food, drinks & service overall.
Watch out for seagulls pooping on you when you eat on the patio though! Thankfully they re-fired our food for us.

Truffle garlic Yam fries - amazing
Fish tacos - good, but could use more flavour from the toppings/ or more sauce. The spicy avocado sauce was great

Lovely staff and lovely view. It for got where we were sitting and there was no problem moving us over to a cooler spot. I should add, this was indoors and not on their patio. Personally I don't mind the heat but one of the people with us has challenges with it. Fives for the staff and view however the food was just ok. My fish was over cooked, as was my friends. The fish tacos my other guest had, she felt were spicy. Hmm, I didn't think so but isn't that darn customer always right (not true). The chicken stir fry my other guest had, was in her words, average. Thank you to our server and the hostess who accommodated us, you made out evening special.

Amazing service, they ran out of HP sauce and ran across the street to get more for my lunch. They went above and beyond food is always a 10/10

The view at patio's is beautiful, indoor decoration is comfy, but not easy to find the parking place at weekend. Unfortunately we had bad mussel this time (although they are famous for this dish), we don't even want to finish it, also,
Mushroom Burger is definitely not as tasty as White Spot, but Clam Chowder and French Fries are really good. One of reason that I still gave 3, it's because our server's are amiability and patient.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view! The food was good, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I surprised at how flavorful it was!

Came here on a Thursday night with a friend. Place was less than half full with plenty staff from observation.

We were sat within 5 mins but didnt have our order take until 20minutes after sitting. Food was pricey for the quality and time to receive.

AMAZING view tho.

Good service and amazing view but their food was below average unfortunately.
Their appetizers were alright, but their pasta dishes were so bad. I am not great at cooking but I could cook better pasta I think. It felt frustrating that it costed quite a lot for such low quality pasta.

It might be a good place to visit for a drink with some small dishes.

What a night at Catch! We all had an unforgettable night for my friends birthday dinner thanks to Emily and Ty! They are the best in the business thank you very much to both of you for the hospitality!

Great service and great view but the food was a bit of a let down. The Calamari and ribs were pretty good, tender and had great taste. The Mains on the other hand was not. The Miso-Glazed Black Cod was flavorful but was overcooked so it was tough and they left the bones in the fish. Other than when they serve a whole fish, I can't remember any other restaurants that served a piece of fish with bones in it. With the Fish & Chip, the pieces of fish was pretty big and tasted pretty good but the chips were way over salted and the fries was already "soggy", not very crispy when we got it. Overall I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting better.
