My first experience with Acupuncture and 'cupping' and Mr. Kui Hee Han (Paul) was very professional, understanding and informative about the whole process and the Chi or Saan practice. He explained what he was going to do, the process and effect it should have, over time. It is not a 1x treatment, but a process to bring the body into an improved wellness. Interesting medicine, Qi acupuncture. For a 'non believer', I made my next appointment.

I have been looking for a professional acupuncturist for the longest time. Mr. Han is the right one I found! He is professional and knowledgeable. His technique of needling is amazing, you know you have a right acupuncturist when he applies needles on you. He also performs cupping that is another treatment helps blood circulation and draws toxic out of your body.
I am very happy to obtain such a good treatment from Mr. Han.
Will see him on a regular basis.

I am so glad that my sister found Cedar Chiropractic & Physiotherapy on-line six years ago. May and her team of professional healthcare workers has helped our family and friends, too numerous to keep count, with all their ailments ranging from vertigo, frozen shoulder, dislocated shoulder, migraines, sinus problems, injuries from car and boat accidents, etc.

May and her team has helped my husband and I to walk again after a horrific boat accident. She took time out of her own personal time to assess us. I had a 15 minute physiotherapy complimentary consult with Rinku Shah, and wanted to share my experience as I'm hoping things can change and that other patients do not have the same negative experience.

I came in because I have experienced a few dizzy episodes over the last month and wasn't sure if it was a vestibular issue. To do an assessment, Rinku asked me to sit upright and then she was going to push my head to move me to laying flat. She put her hand on my head, and I didn't realize how quickly and forcefully she was going to push me to lay flat, and the movement stretched and pulled on my core muscles. I had mentioned twice that I recently gave birth and was honestly shocked by how forcefully she pushed me. I told her it made my core uncomfortable so she asked me to hold my core while she did it again. This time, since I was again shocked by how quickly and forcefully she pushed me, I burst into tears because it hurt my core again.

I felt extremely uncomfortable and not safe. Rinku told me to calm down, and then said to me, "have you not worked on your core at all? ”, which I thought was quite rude. She later said to me “you said you biked over here so I thought you had a strong core”. I was kind of taken aback by these comments, as I don't think she should expect someone recently postpartum to have a strong core.

I understand if the assessment requires a quick movement, but I felt that Rinku didn't properly warn me, especially if she knows that it might be uncomfortable for someone in my position. I felt that Rinku could have assessed me in a more gentle way, and that she needs to take care to be gentle with patients who may be pregnant, or are recently postpartum, or those who may have an ongoing injury. I was surprised that there wasn't an intake form for the clinic (even though I went for a complimentary consult, I would have expected to fill out an intake form) because someone who may have back, neck or core issues could have been really hurt if they did this assessment.

**Edit August 4,2023: I appreciated that May Sheu called me back to apologize about my experience and to say she would mentor Rinku to prevent experiences like this in the future. I also appreciated that May Sheu offered a complimentary consult with her.

I had major problems with walking, standing, sleeping. The problems were with my back, neck and legs. May Shue has given me treatments that have helped me feel better and given me hope that my back problems will be all gone. I am feeling very good now. I will continue with physiotherapy because of all the progress that I have felt. Thank you May. You are a very special healer.

I originally saw May Sheu for lymphatic drainage massage four years ago. I have also done physio exercise rehab and acupuncture since then. May is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Josh is absolutely FANTASTIC!
I've been going to Cedar Chiropractic & Physiotherapy for the past few months to recovery from a chronic shoulder injury. Prior to working with Josh, I had been to 2 other physiotherapists and neither was able to diagnosis and treat my shoulder injury. I had been living in pain for 1.5 years and was ready to give up on it getting better when I found some info about Josh at Cedar, and how he has extensive experience with shoulder injuries.
Not only was he efficient and thorough, but he also used excellent communication the entire time, telling me what he was noticing, and how his treatments would be directly improving my injury. I'm now now 99% recovered and I'm so glad I stumbled across Cedar and Josh. I will continue to drive across town for any future injuries, and I'd highly recommend this clinic and Josh to anyone. We had a great experience working with Damien to address my baby’s head shape. The clinic is clean and admin staff are friendly and organized.

The services and the instructions by physiotherapist Josh Chen were very clear and professional.

And mostly kind with the patient, I took my senior mom to other physiotherapists and none of them made her feel secured in regards to her knee issue, the attention to detail and care that Dr Ramos gave her truly made her day and at same time, we went home with a painless knee and a happy mom.
