Dr Gill and his team are very lovely people. They are all animal lovers and provide excellent care from beginning to end. Dr Gill is very informative, very generous with his time, explains options well and has a big heart. We lost a puppy due to a birth defect and he was very sweet yet pragmatic. Explaining gently when it was time to do tests and spend money and also when the time had past for further treatment.
We have a new dog now, Lala. For over a year, and she has been under the sole care of Dr Gill and his team throughout her life. I strongly reccomend Cedar Hills.

We have 6 cats and a puppy, they’ve always been great with our pets, and affordable. They’re probably the only vet left that makes vet care for pets accessible.

Amazed at the politeness of everyone working, place is a little run down but it was clean and that's all that mattered to me. The vet was super good with our cat and dog, we came from out of province and were referred by the girlfriends mother. If we're in need of vet services while visiting, we will be coming back here hands down.

Our first time there; staff is very friendly. My dog just felt very nervous and would not stop peeing but I hope that goes away with time. I look forward to building a relationship with the staff here.

I recently took my pet for her vaccinations and was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention they provided. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns. The facilities were clean and modern, I felt confident that my pet was in good hands. I highly recommend Cedar Hills Animal Hospital to anyone in need of veterinary care!

Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable staff from the front desk to the dr’s themselves. I always feel like my fur baby’s are in good hands here. Prices are also very reasonable.

My cat was suffering a megacolon, before it got worse i specifically said i don’t care what the price is, give me the best option to fix it. They gave me an option to do surgery but they said “no don’t do it it’s too expensive” so they said just use this medicine to soften his stools. My cat kept getting the same problem every month each time it “resolved”. So i said no give me the surgery before it gets worse. They again keep saying it’s too expensive don’t do it. That’s when i was done and took my cat to another vet. The other vet i went to, they called Cedar Hills 3 TIMES to send previous reports of my cat. They said that’s odd they’re still not giving it. My brother asked to email the reports to him then, they said he will get it in the morning. We waited DAYS, and still nothing. That’s when we restarted the whole thing at the other vet with blood work, fluids, x-ray, ultrasound etc etc. They said the Cedar Hills should’ve done the surgery from the beginning because now my cat is super sick. One day i took my cat to the emergency animal hospital in langely. They said the same thing they should’ve done the surgery from the start if the meds didn’t work at all. A day later, my cat has passed away. If only my cat gotten that surgery, he would’ve been fine.

I went here only once, as this place was closer than our regular vet.
Although, the eye drops prescribed by the Vet got for our dog did heal her.

Not a 5 star as after getting the appointment - had to wait outside with reception and the next 45 mins waiting for the VET to attend us. So prepare to keep hours aside when going here.
Might be the one off case, but the first impression was not that good.

They helped my puppy Sydney heal her paw and she is now 100%. The advice I received was excellent. The prices are reasonable. They are fast and friendly at the clinic.

Great hospital very reasonable prices. This vet doesn't rip you off like A few others vets close by. Took our dog in for minor surgery. Very happy with the results

I want to give 5 stars of this clinic because I can feel they do care about their animal patients. After a couple weeks from the treatment, they call me asked if my cat is doing okay. And during the treatment, the assistant explained to me where my every dollar go on the bill. Crystal clear. Thank you guys.

I think he is a good Vet no more expensive then most other qualified vet's. But willing to work out the best option for you pet and you. Told me what's wrong how much it could cost and if you can't do that today he tried antibiotics and bring her back in to see the doctor after done the antibiotics. But then we still would have to pay for the x-rays and have her sedated for the x-rays. To find out for sure if that is wrong or if it's gone anyway. If not then surgery for my girl?

While the doctors seem to be very caring, the front desk is brutal. After my cat was in an accident we took him here and after 3 days of xrays, bloodtests and medication over $1000 dollars I was told that he would be fine. The next day he died in my arms at home. Will never be back here with any of my pets.

If you do not love your pet, take them here! Cheap place and it shows! Want your pet to fear the vet? BRING THEM HERE! I will never return to this place, they treat your pets like simple means of making profit, no love in this place.

Been going here for years. Jojo (Zoe) loves these ladies. Can always count on them for a good wash and cut.

They have taken great care of my cat. The vet has held back nothing, very honest and caring. My cat has kiddney failure and Dr Gill has helped explain things to me so I make the right decision. This Vet has been great through all the treatments we have been doing to maintain my cat with out pain. Great work Dr. Gill.

I just got my beautiful little cat spayed. The staff there treated her great. She is now at home resting nicely.

My cat had a small flea problem so I was needing some medication and info about that. They fit me in right away & were very friendly and nice to my cat who is deaf and doesn't like strangers touching her. They kept my bill on the low end of things as well by giving me a short term price& long term price as well as a month to month price to keep from her getting re-infested as fleas lifespan can be hard to deal with even after cleaning your home & treating your pet. All in all no complaints from me or KitKat

I love this vet. They are very compassionate, helpful and understanding. They will work with you to get your fur baby back to health. Very affordable as well which helps the wallet.

Always get the best service here whenever I bring my pet in for a checkup. The ladies are wonderful and my dog loves them all. The doctors are amazing too and so sweet with the animals. Totally recommend and will be coming back soon again!

Dr Gill is an awesome Vet. I have 6 animals I take to see him when the need arises. I am a woman of limited means and whenever my animals are ill and need his help but I only have limited funds he always works with me to keep the bill within my financial means; but does as much as possible to make my pet well again as well.

Went there with my dog who was bleeding from the leg. They were open but no vet? The girls are nice offered me a bandaid. I declined. I knew that wasnt going to work. Went To the vet in new West. They did surgery on my dog the next day.

Brought in 10 puppies and their mom several times and was treated great each and every time. Offers breeders rate for getting puppies their shots at a discounted rate

I would never take my animal anywhere else. The vet is just amazing in so many ways. Love all the staff

My pup had issues for almost a year. Everytime I brought him in, they told me it was his stomach. I took him somewhere else and he was diagnosed with arthritis in 15 mins.

Also, they used a dirty muzzle on my dog. When he pooped on the table they only wiped it up with paper towel. So gross and unclean, I'm surprised they are as busy as they are.

The doctor was super nice. Very thorough. Wasn't overly expensive. I felt safe bringing my pup here Dr was very knowledgeable and gentle. All the staff seem very nice also.

Wait time was long after my appointment time, but was worth the wait, very friendly staff and doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. Prices were great for a check up but other stuff was kinda expensive.

We take our dog here for grooming and for our Vet visits. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They really do take care of your animal.would go back for sure.

I love this vet. Older interior but very reasonably priced and really sweet caring staff. They care for your pets and are really accommodating. Definitely reccomend this vet!

I've gone to a few vets, but this Dr.is one who is there for the pet. He is open to allowing monthly payments and lowed fees, or didn't charge for some things when I explained I'm on disability. I found him to be very compassionate. The girls who work for him are great!
Another great thing is that there is a groomer in the same office, and the sisters that own this have a lot of experience and are willing to work with dogs who need sedation due to anxiety.

I came to this vet for basic things I would not go here for anything super important. The front desk staff are unorganized and not very helpful or considerate. Wait times are are always a thing here. And the inside of the office is not clean at all. A lot of people have commented on the cleanliness and yet even with all this they are yet to attempt to do anything about something so simple. I brought my puppy in for a check up when I first got him and they missed a lot of things I wish I would have known about sooner. But as I say for shots it's fine it's close by my house other than that I wouldn't come back.

Been going here nearly three years and just love the staff. Great people. I had to bring in my dog after he was attacked by another dog and he's nearly back to normal after our visit yesterday.
