Cedars at Cobble Hill

Unfortunately the councilor we got was prejudice wouldnt respond to our emails often and wouldn't allow one of our family members to visit because another person staying there's preferences. Very unprofessional to deny one patient of their support network to visit. They are not prepared to deal with trauma and the mental health side of substance abuse. Wouldn't recommend and isn't a safe space for people struggling with anxiety and depression looking for a safe space to accommodate their needs. They said they can when the intake form was submitted but then didn't and discharged our family member early after taking money and not talking to us about other options and transfer options. Do your research and find clinics that take an integrated approach to mental health and substance abuse and if aren't a good fit will help patients finish treatment elsewhere. We are starting from the start again, and family member feels shaken after their experience in a space that should be safe for all, not just some.

Most of the staff here are extremely unprofessional and condescending. Cedars is a huge money grab and they do not care about anyone's well-being.the CSW's are under paid and over worked.very toxic environment.save your money and don't go to this place.

When I got to Cedar's I was so lost.
Never wanted to ground myself.
All I wanted was to go home. Then Jo is like if you say it again I will send you back.
And Chelsea Dared me to ground myself. And boom I was grounded. In the end Cedars became my rain Forest. The counselor s are amazing. The whole Cedars team is. I found myself again learning to love was my key something I forgot to do. And how to love myself again was an amazing feeling. So once again thank you Cedar's my rain Forest for showing me love again and self awareness. And saving I.

This is a sacred place of healing and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to come here.

The peer based, no judgement approach led by councillors that have been in your shoes worked incredibly well for me. Almost 7 years and i still apply what i learned at Cedars daily.
