Great little Inn with a fantastic location. It was clean but dated. It says no pets, but there appeared to be people living there who had dogs, so I’m not sure why there’s a no pet policy the location was quiet and close to town.

Very nice town, hotel room was very clean. (apreciated the vintage milk glass). The room was fine for the little time we spent in it. I found that they are not acomadating and abrupt, and way over priced.dont seem to care about animals even though it says pet friendly. No garbage bins anyware to take the doggy bags too and they charge every night for the dogs instead of a flat rate. No breakfasts offered.this place is just good enough to sleep at.only bonus was the beach to walk the paths. You basically just have a roof over your head for a night or 2.no bonuses.so if your on a budget don't waste it here.

Peter and the staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We are Vancouver Islanders but we always stay there if we have an early morning flight the next day from YYJ. Clean, safe and always a great stay. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely.
The location is perfect, right by the beach and 20 minutes walk from downtown. There's a big park next to it with a playground and some picnic tables.
The room was big, clean and comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, the heating worked great, everything was just lovely and well maintained. The check-in guy was the nicest, all in all really a great place to stay

The staff is very helpful. Late night arrival was also no problem. Rooms are very clean, well equipped and stocked with the best coffee you can imagine. Fridge, microwave, glassware, cups, plates you name it.we stayed there twice and both rooms were very pleasant.extremely close to the airport right by the water and the beautiful small town of Sydney.

If I could give 10 stars I would. These kind, patient, sweet people helped me chase my under-the-bed kitty to room-deconstruction level. No gratuity could possibly thank them. The rooms are cool 70s-ish cedar wood, just like the name says. My room was ocean view and stellar.

But really, the service is off the charts great. This place is classic old BC and one of Sidney's best.

Rooms are clean and comfortable though a bit dated. What the rooms lack in modern style, the make up in location. I spent most nights walking along the beach or eating dinner at one of the picnic tables on the shoreline. The main town waterfront, is a short walk down the coast.

Good value for money, very close to airport, friendly front staff, walkable location to waterfront and restaurants in Sidney.

Loved it here, right across from the ocean, rates are decent and room was comfortable, would definitely stay here again

The decor is a little outdated BUT
It is very clean, kind, simple and straight to the point staff. We definitely will be back I feel this is one of Sidneys hidden gems. The location is just beautiful!

You could tell that they did some renovation, but the blinds are so thin that the porch light that stayed on all night lit up the whole room all night! Along with the road noise, not much sleep.

Nice, cozy little room. Perfect location. Night time caretaker is the best, kindest and friendliest person. Appreciated him

They're short handed, so there was no late check outs, but that's everywhere at the moment. Room was very clean and affordable. You can hear planes constantly landing and taking off, but I was able to have a good sleep

We stayed at the property for one hour and checked out due to BED BUGS, the room smell like an old mattress, someone's hair on the sheets, and the general unsanitary nature of the property.
When I requested a refund, the property said that the manager would be in tomorrow to discuss it.
Two days later the manager called me and said the following.

"You will not be getting a refund in this universe, and we are
I hear you are looking for a refund, and this will NOT happen in this lifetime! "

They claimed the room was unrentable after we had left the property, see the attached "evidence" of the mess we left! We had some food when we checked in, used the bathroom, and left as soon as we saw the BED BUGS!

I would have been happy to get a partial refund, but their manager was so extremely rude, and refused.

My only regret is not taking photos of the bedbugs.
