This happened last week I wasn't going to write a review because I really like my Doctor but the Filipino receptionist needs to be fired and get out of the medical business.
One of the rudest, cndescending person that I have had to deal with in my lifetime.
My doctor had phoned me two days prior due to test results and wanted me to come in as soon as possible.
I went in to make an appointment and informed her that I received a call from from my doctor to come in and make the appointment.
She basically called me a liar saying "We don't do that here and accused me of making stuff up.
My doctor has been great taking a close eye on me due to going septic and suffering a cardiac arrest last October.
Please please get rid of her she is a very toxic person.
It doesn't appear that anyone monitors these reviews so if she isn't transferred or fired I think I am going to have to take this even higher.
And it's too bad because after COVID they seemed to get it together with hiring younger receptionists who are awesome. It's a total shame that her toxicity is taking this place down once again

Shame on ministery of health to open clinic like this, shame on ministery of health to hire staf like that, shame on ministiry of healt to treat canadian like that.all patient standing outside on snow, raining, hot weather out side, staf they dont have any experianse, rude, no one care is that how to take car of people? !

I arrived at 7: 45 and lined up with behind about 20 people. At 8: 25 someone came out to say they weren't seeing anyone else. What a waste of time!

If your family doctor is not here and you cannot arrive here by 7am or be one of the first 20 patients, you won't see any doctors

Bad service from the receptionists, the doctor takes care of you in a hurry and when you call for appointments they don't answer the phone

Worst clinic! Fiancée appointment was made for 1pm. Makes her wait 45 minutes then sit in a room for over 20 minutes waiting for the doctor. Number of patients walking in because the receptionists won’t answer the phone to take calls. Even when people are trying to make appointments with their family doctors…. In total had to spend an hour and forty minutes in such a miss managed place when the doctor visit was under 10 minutes.

Went here to get prescribed a copper IUD. Doctor was really awkward which didn't make be very comfortable, as it was my first attempt at getting contraception. He ended up just writing "copper IUD" on a slip which didn't fly with the pharmacy because he was supposed to write which one to give. They had to fax him and with no success, I had to go back to the clinic and wait, just as every other person waits 2hrs before being seen.

Additionally, the lobby was grungy which wasn't inviting in the midst of the pandemic.

I have been here several times, is either they ask you to come back tomorrow or they tell you they are fully booked. Common guys.

Had an appointment door was locked have been calling to rebook no one answers when they do you get hung up on frequently not impressed at all.

Told me I had an appointment I show up the door is locked I call can’t get in I try to reschedule they tell me I owe 45 dollars because the door was locked and the girl on the phone AS RUDE as can be
Tells me I’m lieing they don’t lock the door they keep it open they cannot close the door etc like my and my wife standing outside knocking is lieing right?

When infact I have been there multiple times in 6 months and the door is locked!

They do anything and everything to be the biggest and most unhelpful people consistently being the worst clinic I have ever went too.they don’t follow up they don’t send reminder emails or texts they don’t answer the phone they don’t level with any patients they are just the worst at their job hense why they work there and not anywhere else and NOONE is training them properly they mix and mess up more times then anyone when sending documents it’s absolutely atrocious!

WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE!

Went here out of desperation as I've had serious issues breathing lately and also sick. They turned me away because I didn't have ID despite me having been there before. Never has that happened and the only time in asked for identification is when I say I haven't been there before.

If you are getting to the location by 8: 15 am you are too late and they will refuse you. This place almost seems pointless, the staff do NOT care. I would really consider just going somewhere else because you will waste you time

I made an appt and waited two hrs and had to take time off work so why make an appt. Was lumped in with the walk ins

Don’t even bother coming to Surrey central city on weekends. Because both clinics at this mall are CLOSED!

The receptionist who taking appointments is very rude and no telephone skills. Why work there if you hated people so much?

All the good reviews this place have are bought, the staff infact is very rude and if you confront them they don’t care, cause they literally don’t! Especially if anyone tells them to rectify their behaviour. I don’t know who manages this place, but after these many bad reviews regarding staff and their doctors they really should be looking at making some major decisions. My friend had a failed kidney and he was told to take some Tylenol by the doctor, its beyond unacceptable, the way they are in healthcare and the way they keep getting away with wrong medications and their inability to judge a patients worsened condition. So if you’re thinking about visiting be prepared to be offered a Tylenol Advil or to hear its simply an infection and it will go away. Honestly a clown show!

Dr. Guy is amazing! The staff was also really friendly and responsible. They got me a walk-in appointment even when I was struggling to get one. 10/10

Phone number does not work most of the time. You have to wait outside in freezing weather. Initial process to visit a doctor needs improvement.

Welcoming and respectful that is how I am greeted by the receptionists at this clinic. They are very professional and know their job very well. The doctors are competent and compassionate and their diagnosis are always correct. I have been going to this clinic for 6 years honestly it is the best one in town and a special Thankyou to awesome Dr. Guy!

Bunch of rude and useless staff who give you wrong information about your appointment timing, you will always have to wait an hour extra at the clinic for your appointment. I went to the clinic at 8: 30 AM and was done at 2 PM, whole day was wasted just waiting there. Not recommend

The receptionists here were actually fine, the one I spoke to was professional and helpful. I just didn't like the doctor I saw, they kept cutting me off and I ended up waiting 2 hours to see the doctor for 2 minutes.

You need to update your website to reflect your hours of operation. It is disrespectful to have people attend your clinic, expecting it to be open and no one shows up nor is there any notice of office closure posted.

The nurses are the receptionist whatever you call them are very very rude they have no sense of how to talk to you to a patient not to talk with a human they're so frustrated or I don't know whatever with their job they have no appointments and whenever I walk they ask me for an appointment and then said we cannot book appointment you have to come at 6: 45 in the morning to see any doctor and even if this information they give like they just want you to step or throw you out of the clinic as soon as possible I didn't have any worst experience than this ever at any Clinic I don't even don't even recommended this Clinic should we even be given one star

The receptionist is rude, they did not even allow me to walk-in to register. Me and other people have to stand outside of the clinic to wait them to call us in and it was burning hot. Moreover, I do not know why they said they did not accept any patients after 12 o'clock noon, when the clinic closed at 3 o'clock afternoon?

Probably one of if not the worst clinic ever. Some of the doctors are okay and care about their patients but it's such a shame they have rude, ignorant, abrupt and unprofessional receptionists who speak down to you, treat you disrespectfully for no reason at all, do not show any compassion whatsoever and if you happen to even speak to any of them on the phone, they tend to hang up on you. I understand that they have changed management but that is no excuse for them to treat anyone like a third - class person by changing their attitude towards you which is definitely worse than it was before. Why is it that they expect patients to speak to them, either in person or over the phone, with respect yet it is okay for them to treat patients disrespectfully, speak down to anyone they decide to just because they're having a bad day, treat you like a third class person, hang the phone up on you when you call in looking for answers to questions you have along with having very little if any etiquette at all? This is what you call painting the kettle black. It's such a disgrace we have people like this who work there and don't even deserve to have the job that they do. You may want to try other locations for clinics than this one if you want common courtesy and respect as a patient and be treated like a person.

The staffs at this place is very very rude they won’t give us the right answer I called them around 6pm on Friday just to see if they are excepting more patients for the day and the lady in the PHN told me that there is no doctor in the clinic at 6pm and there will be no MBA doctor until Monday and they open till 8pm so I asked how come now doctor and you guys still open the lady in the front desk it’s “non of your business” and hung up on me

Have been trying to call for three days and it ALWAYS says “user busy” I’m not sure why and I have been trying to call to make an appointment so I can get a referral from dr vinnitsky. I live in Vancouver now and I cannot just go for a walk in as I don’t have lots of time in my schedule to do that. I work and go to college.

Very rude on the phone, will put you on hold for about half an hour to 1 hour like they forgot about you. Then when you pick up and ask to book your family doctor, she told me "can you please hurry up, I have a line up in front of me" mind you, she only answered the phone so we only talked few seconds to introduce myself. And when she told me to hurry up, he co-worker just laughed out loud in the background. They must love their jobs! Just the way they talk to ppl needing help regarding their health.

I visited the Central City Medical Clinic recently for a eye infection and was under prescribed a dosage of Tobradex eye drops by the doctor. I was told by the doctor to take 1/4 of the manufacturer's suggested dosage of the eye drops. I ended up in the Surrey Memorial Emergency Department a couple days later with an eye infection that was out of control.
Avoid this clinic if possible.

I have visited this clinic twice now because my family physician is out of office for the holidays. I was impressed by Dr. Tadros. He’s so caring and understanding of his patients, and will listen politely and seems to genuinely take an interest in what you’re saying. Both times I went he was nothing but exceptional. I definitely recommend his services if you’re attending this clinic. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t speak for the other physicians.

I know people usually leave a review when they had a bad experience with a place. However I would like to share my positive experience last weekend at this walk-in clinic. The receptionist was pleasant to deal with and very polite. We arrived at 9: 45, waiting for the 10am opening time. By 10: 20, we saw the doctor already. We had Dr Tardrof and he was very easy going as well. Although the visit was short, we got our prescription. This is a no frills, efficient clinic that gets the job done.

I was told I can’t get an x-ray for my possibly broken finger I called the hospital and they told me that I was mistreated and they were extremely professional, doctors have stacks of requisitions and all I have to do is walk in, don’t call them ahead of time, ask for a requisition. So I went to the same clinic told her who I was that I was just on the phone n the doctor took not even 30 seconds and he wrote me up a requisition.
Unbelievably rude, stuck up, dismissive receptionist.
After seeing all the other reviews here maybe it’s time to take legal action!

Never ever come to this clinic. All staffs are very rude. Call them to book for appointment and they just hung up. Just gi and see other clinics. They don't deserve even 1 star.

The receptionist told me she will call me in 5-10 mins, but didn't. I had to wait outside in the cold with my 2 year old niece for around 40 mins. Now she is suffering from terrible cold.

Receptionist isn't that nice, i went there to have a referral for my baby girl dr tom told me he will call me after 10days but its been 2months now He didnt call me, my 4months old baby needs to see a pediatrician now.i called the clinic but told me to go to there.

The clinic was well organized and professional. Was seen by Dr. Tom and will request to see him for every visit going forward. I was experiencing major anxiety going into the clinic and was instantly comforted when Dr. Tom came into the room to discuss my concerns. He has a great bedside manner and very calming. Thank you for being the type of clinician who takes the time to reassure his patients and not feel like you're being rushed out of the room.

All the front desk lady’s are rude! They are so unorganized and unprofessional it’s insane, they have the worst system set up for walk ins even if you have an appointment they’ll make you wait, highly recommend you go somewhere else that has a bit more customer service.

The receptionist is rude and not helpful I'm having side effects from covid vaccine she told me to go to the hospital why would I do that when my side effects are mild the receptionist wouldn't let me see a doctor

I've been going here for over 3 years now, and for a walk in clinic, it's fine. Some days are long waits, others, I get in within 5 mins. I see Dr. David Guy, I really appreciate that he listens to me and educates me on things. I'm forgetful so it really helps and recommendations or referrals happen quickly.

1 star, waited 1 hour with a parched up eye, and still no sign in line progress, everyone's appointment is 45 mins late and no one is getting help, other clinics will be worth the time, here you will wait 1 out outside in cold and bad weather and yet no progress

The receptionist here answer the phone and don't say anything and act like there busy. She answers and put the phone down. Michelle is the receptionists name.

Friendly receptionist. Horrible doctor. Came in with a earache. Gave me 2 minutes of his time. Said I had an ear infection and had to much wax in my ear. Told me to put drops in my ear and come back in a week to irrigate the ear. No antibiotic. Could not get me out fast enough. I quess he wanted to see as many people as possible. Never will return. Go somewhere else. Please.

Please don’t waste your time there. They kept treating me for wrong things for 6 months. They don’t even listen to your problem fully. They only care about there patient count. When my health was not improving then I tried another doctor and i was okay in just one week. Find a better option. Don’t waste your time there.

If you can go else where for your medical concerns or if you think you really need medical attention, do NOT come here. It is convenient location; but it has the worst service ever in all the clinics I have ever been too. I was wrong when I came here to get a referral to a prenatal doctor. I regret ever since.

I called the for appointment, and they said no appointments. When I visited saw her booked appointments. Further I saw the receptionist take some calls while seating right in front of her. This has to be the rudest receptionist everrrr. Dont go her unless you really really need to.

The receptionist told me my msp is not covered so i have to pay out of my own pocket and i checked with msp service center on the phone right away which told me it’s active.i asked why and she told me my msp is not active or eligible in their system.i really don’t understand why?

First and last visit here today, Nov. 12,2019.
I saw Dr. Tom. What a joke this guy is! Seriously! Condescending person and doing the check-up as quick as possible because he obviously doesn't care about you.
It's after being back home that I read the reviews about him left from previous patients' experience and I'm not surprised.

Next time, I'll drive ½ an hour to see my former doctor who was more competent.

I don't know why people complain about this clinic. I came in tonight waited only 15 minutes saw Dr. Tadros. He was very nice and friendly and took his time with us. I would recommend this clinic.

The passive-agressive sign behind the receptionist's desk tells it all about this place and is really uncalled for.

It's also the first time in my life that a visit to the doctor lasts less than a minute. I'm really wondering if I should take that medication.

I came there at 9: 30 and the assistant asked me to come back at 1: 30 without appointment because they werent sure the doctor coming or not. And when i came back at 1: 30, I need to wait until 3: 30. And then when i saw the doctor, he checked my ears in 30 seconds and done.
Never come back again.

This place is a joke, i took an appointment and was told to go then had me wait there over an hour. The receptionist working there had no respect towards me while asked for the reason for wait time and she told me to go there next day. Extremely poor management. I guess the only reason people go there is just because to see one doctor, That is Mr Vinnisky. He is an amazing doctor to be honest. Everyone else are just like jokers in the circus.

My 2/5 rating is probably generous, considering that I did not receive anything from Dr. Khan except for him telling me "I don't know" three times after describing my health issue.
If you really value your health, I advise NOT seeing Dr. Khan for anything other than a simple medication refill!

I went to see a doctor there in June and had an X-ray taken on my right flank the next day. Three months later they called me to come in to see the doctor as they just received the X-ray. It turned out that I had a hairline fracture in my rib. When I asked them why it took three months to contact me, they told me to check with the X-ray clinic, which I did.
I found out that the X-ray clinic sent the X-ray to the walk-in clinic back in June. Then I asked the walk-in clinic to show me X-ray result. On top of the page it shows that it was sent in June but the walk-in clinic stamped it with a date in October. When I asked why they stamped the result in October, they couldn't provide an explanation. They insisted that they received it in October, not in June. They said there might be a technology error. Anybody can help me understand what technology errors that caused a fax to be held for three months?

Its busy but the staff is organized and at least you know where you are in the queue as they have a numbering system. Check with them first before coming in as some days are walk in days and other days are only by appointment which must be made in advance.

The receptionist are so rude and in polite on the phone while talking to the patient. I have no idea how they hired the person like her don't even respect the patient. I hope someday they would fixed that issue.

They don't answer their phones on weekends. 15 call attempts over two days and yeah - call either is hung up, or placed on hold, then ended.

Dr. Tom is the worst I had most awful service and experience and I think he should quit being doctor he has no clue what he doing he just there for the paycheques and he a bad terrible human being and you should not put up with his nonsense.

Staff is mean and don’t even understand when it’s a newborn. That he shouldn’t be around sick people when he is already sick. No they suggest I wait until it’s emergency and go to hospital instead of seeing doctor and helping my son. Very disappointed with such bad service. Only come here because of Dr. Vinnitsky.

Let's talk about Dr. Tom. Firstly, Dr. Tom is somewhat of a running joke amongst my friends and family who have lived in Surrey all of their lives. Stories that start from not filling my asthmatic friends ventalin inhaler accusing him of drug seeking behavior all the way to misdiagnosing my in laws cancer symptoms and telling him to eat celery. He is such a meme at the point that we all ask who we got at the surrey central clinic and if the answer is Dr. Tom you may as well have gone online and diagnosed yourself on WebMD. I hope a shareholder of this establishment reads these reviews. If you sift through the plethora of 1 star reviews you will immediately notice there is a trend that is anyone who had Dr. Tom had an awful experience, and anyone who saw Dr. Vinisky had great service. I understand that surrey is full of addicts who waste the time of all health care professionals, but as someone who works with people in the downtown Eastside if Dr. Tom as no patience for people and cannot deal with addicts maybe he should practice in Saskatchewan, not in the front lines of the opiod crisis. This man is incompetent and has no people skills, I have no idea why he thought this profession (one where you deal with people all day) would be a fitting job for him. It honestly disturbs me that we have to put our health in this man's incapable hands. Please read this heartfelt review, someone should take action and see that he loses his liscense to practice medicine, or go into a feild where he does not have to interact with other human beings.

HORRIBLE CLINIC. DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A BUSINESS TRANSACTION. They do not care about people. They only care about how much money they can make from registered patients that don't show up for their appointment. Read all other reviews & see the common trend. Rude Receptionist. They don't smile. Long lines to register. Then another 2 hour wait on top of that to see a doctor. Then another 15-20 wait in the doctors room. TOTAL WAIT TIME: 2.5-3.5 HOURS. Only 1 doctor works per 100 people registered. I hope the College of Physicians & Surgeons monitor these reviews & conduct their own investigation into these shady business practices

1 star for the receptionists. They will straight up lie to you to give themselves an easier/lighter day. Called in around 12 noon last week to make sure they were open and the girl at the front desk immediately tells me they are fully booked for the day. She said the soonest I could see the doctor Ive been getting help from would be tommorow which was I was fine with, schedules do fill up.

So anyways about 3 hours later im there at the mall and decide to drop by just in case they could make a special deal and squeeze me in. The other girl at the front desk tells me no problem its just a short wait today and I was in seeing the doctor 30 mins later. 3 hours before that they were booking for tommorow but when I walk in at a busier time I could see the doctor in 30 mins. Just wow.

Thankful to see the doc but amazed at the lazyness and selfishness of the front desk. Just be careful when calling in or dealing with them as they will bend facts to whatever makes things easier for them.

I am happy they changed the grumpy lady with a nice new staff, specially a young girl whose makes the difference with her smile and eye contact when she talking with the clients. Dr. Guy is very kind and gentle.many thanks

The doctors at this clinic tend to be quite prescription happy, but not for what you want/need.
I'd gone in years ago about possibly having mono and was told it was impossible, was refused a blood test, and prescribed something that made be break out in a full body rash.
Last year I saw Dr V for a doctors note for missing a day of work, he prescribed me something. I didnt want any meds, I just felt off that day, I told him all I wanted was a doctors note and he insisted I take these pills.

Very unorganized clinic. The management of the patient flow is nothing but unfortunate. Staff members are rude as well. People complain not because they are impatient but because the whole team is inefficient. I came at around 10: 30am and haven’t been seen at 2: 00pm while there are other people who came later but were seen earlier. They said it depends on the doctor you were assigned to. I thought when patient comes, they will be seen on a first come-first serve basis by whoever is the available doctor at that time. This is not a hospital emergency that patients are seen based on the acuity of their problem. I was actually appalled by the attitude of one grumpy staff when she told some of the patients “Well if you can’t wait for your turn anymore, go somewhere else! ” This is not the only walk-in clinic!
People go to your clinic because they are not well and they feel vulnerable and they depend on you for a timely care and to be treated like that by your inconsiderate staff is beyond me. Be kind to your patients.they are the reason why your clinic still exists.

Was involved in a car accident and required a doctors attention. Was told that they do not want to deal with ICBC claims as it is too much effort. What the hell? Ridiculous excuse for a doctors office.

I only go here when I can't get to my family doctor for minor things like prescription refills or doctors notes. But I have to say this is probably on the lower end of walk in clinics. Some of the front end staff are very nice and helpful - the other ones need to take some lessons in customer service. Dr. Tom is probably the worst doctor there. He's not personable at all and I find him extremely condescending. The worst part is waiting here. It took me 3hrs this time around to get a doctors note. I sat and watched reception tell everyone to come back in 20 mins to a half hour which is extremely inaccurate. One guy who came back almost lost his mind on one of the receptionists. I would recommend that if you really need to use this place be prepared to wait for more than 2hrs. Unless you show up right when they start registering for the new doctor on shift. This place just needs some new management and please Dr. Tom be a little nicer to your patients.
