Dr. Chetty is a true professional and an intuitive and skilled practitioner who acts with professionalism at all times. I find it very reassuring that Dr. Chetty constantly updates his knowledge of new products and techniques, and is utterly dedicated to being one of the best in his field.
The clinic is comfortable and clean and the whole team is professional and welcoming.
I would recommend them without hesitation.

I presented them with a skin issue that was above their level of expertise in terms of what services they are able to provide. Instead of referring me to another clinic (as many other clinics did) they provided me with an incredibly overpriced option that was completely useless at targeting the skin issue. I trusted the doctor because of course they are more experienced and knowledgable than I am, but I have now realized that they are not looking in your best interest and only want your business. Moving forward I recommend to everyone to be wary of clinics that are reluctant to refer you elsewhere, and get a second opinion before deciding to go ahead with this clinic.

Update: after posting this review I received a very aggressive phone call from the clinic stating that I must remove the review. When I explained that this is a honest review of my experience and how I felt, they threatened to call a lawyer. They would like for me to clarify a few things. They recommended a course of treatment and I did not go through with it because I did not think it was the best option for me after getting a second opinion from other clinics. Although this is true, being met with this phone call and receiving threats to have a lawyer called was extremely disheartening and unexpected.

I received treatment for facial scarring at Cerulean Medical and was very impressed with the level of expertise and genuine patient care by both Dr Chetty and Isabel. They both spent ample time during my consultation to decide on the best treatment to meet my goals. They provided a calming, therapeutic atmosphere and always made me feel welcomed. I received the micro needling treatment that has drastically reduced my scarring and has improved my skin texture and tone! I’m so happy with my results!

I recently visited Cerulean for a series of treatments and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Isabel and Dr. Chetty were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. Great customer service. I went to get my tummy tightened because I recently had a baby. They took the time to answer my questions, gave me a lot of information on the process, expectations and possibilities. Definitely recommend.

It pains me to write a negative review, but this is an example that I'm sure people will appreciate when they learn how this clinic is run.

I've been a patient for a few years with Cerulean, mainly getting botox treatment. I have just recently discovered that Dr Chetty has been charging me DOUBLE what three other doctors between BC and Alberta have been charging me by doubling the botox units used on my eyebrows and between my eyes.

The average clinic charges $10 - $11 / Unit of Botox depending on who is administering it. Cerulean charges $10 / Unit of Botox. In the previous two weeks, three other doctors who I've gone to for consultation on this service recommended 30-34 units for my EXACT areas of concern that Chetty had been servicing over the last few years. Dr Chetty insisted on 64 units.

When I voiced my concern and wanted to discuss the reason behind this, Dr Chetty was very condescending and frankly arrogant with his response, which was basically - "I am a doctor, so I know what's best. " This is completely unacceptable behaviour from a professional. The trust between patient and doctor has now been diminished. And further, too much Botox is not necessarily better than too little.

If you are looking to get botox treatments, do your research. Do not rely on one person to give you the correct answers. This clinic has very high overhead and will charge you as much as they can get away with. There are several exceptional doctors in Kelowna that are very knowledgable with botox treatments that will be fair with their pricing, so please shop around before you make a decision on where to take your business. I unfortunately learned much too late in this case.

A very easy process and great experience. Having never been to a clinic such as this before, I didn't know what to expect, but when I arrived they were professional, polite, and made my visit as comfortable as they could. I had an amazing treatment, and have since followed up with another. For anyone who is undecided or have reservations about taking the next step, I recommend Cerulean.

Dr. Chetty and his team are the absolute best in the business! They all are so warm and inviting and take as much time as you need to discuss and educate on any and all procedures you may be thinking about.

I chose Cerulean Medical Institute because of their positive reviews. They did not disappoint! I arrived for one procedure and because I was so pleased I had 2 more different treatments. The staff is professional, very knowledge and they truly care about your skin care.

I called in to ask about my under eye area. I have very thin, pale skin and the veins under my eyes are pretty visible. I’ve been calling around a few places and wanted to go to a couple consultations and get some different opinions. I was all ready to book my appointment until I was told a $300 non-refundable deposit is required for all consults. The lady on the phone said I could use it on anything…great. So, before even walking in to the clinic, being told of my options and the risks/benefits of the procedure, I’m forced to pay. I have NEVER heard of a deposit of this amount before. $20, I can handle, but $300? I didn’t even know if I wanted to get anything done, I simply wanted to be informed of my options and go from there. They haven’t even seen my under eye area and therefore have no idea if they even can help me. I went to a vein clinic about 5 years ago and was told they couldn’t do under my eyes since the area is so delicate. So if I booked in and decided I didn’t want anything done to my under eyes, or if they weren’t able to help me, I’d still have to pay $300. This is absurd.

I’ve booked a couple appointments at other clinics and haven’t been asked by any of them to make ANY deposit.

I understand time is money, and offering free consultations results in less profit, but requiring such a hefty deposit proves this clinic values profits over having their clients feel comfortable, well informed, and unpressured.

Whether you have terrible acne, subtle wrinkles, or flawless porcelain skin, an assessment by Dr. Chetty would be worthwhile. There is 3D imaging which provide a very cool visual for his explanations. He is able to offer unbiased, evidence based recommendations for your skin a because of the scope of practice a physician has compared to other health professionals in the skin game; whether the treatment is laser, Botox, over the counter products, or prescription medications, he is able to offer it.

Isabella was the highlight of my experience! She is knowledgable and confident. They both made product and care recommendations to keep my skin healthy and youthful looking. Isabella also used a laser to treat a blood vessel that I had near my eye. I was nervous to make it worse but they both promised a cautious approach, and it has healed beautifully. Isabella was so gentle manipulating the laser, and her presence is very calming.

I am loving both Zo products she recommended, but the 20% zinc SPF 30 sunscreen with primer has found a permanent spot on my shelf; I love it! It has so far held up well in the tropical sun and on the ski hill and does not seem threatened by a bit of sweat.

Dr Chetty, Isabel and their staff are lovely and sincere people who will quickly put you at ease. I did a lot of research before calling Cerulean and chose them because of their great reviews and detailed website. They hold themselves to exceptional standards and I'm very happy with their work.

During the initial consultation, Dr Chetty impressed me with his kind demeanor and meticulous approach. He was very thorough and explained everything that was and wasn't possible. I never felt pressured and decided to go ahead with one type of preventative treatment. I appreciated his attention to detail and focus on natural looking results.

Wherever I go back, Isabel always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I ask Dr Chetty lot of questions and he is more than happy to explain the science behind the treatments. He stays up to date on the most recent research and I get to learn a little bit more about his field every time I go back. I've had only positive experiences and can't recommend them enough!

Cerulean is a very modern, professional facility. Dr. Chetty is a skilled practitioner and is always up to date on the latest procedures and products that make his clients look their best. His assistant Isabel is a great asset, very helpful and knowledgeable.

I had quite a few procedures done at this clinic and have to say that my overall experience was not great, especially given how high their prices are.

Most recently I had Botox done with very little effect. When I went back Dr. Chetty (as he had done with many previous treatments that were largely ineffective) simply told me that the problem was with my facial muscles and that there was nothing else he would do. I finally got sick of this treatment and went to see another doctor downtown. Within 10 seconds of looking at me, the other doctor was able to identify that Dr. Chetty was simply injecting the wrong places in my face. Once the right places were injected I was wrinkle free and the cost was half of what they charged at Cerulean. Now I am working with my new doctor to undo some of the damage sustained to my skin in the year that I went to the Cerulean clinic (e.g, permanent discolouration from a chemical peel gone wrong).

I was reading through previous reviews and am glad that so many people had more positive experiences at this clinic than I have had. It was concerning to me however that in the clinic’s responses to "bad" reviews there were instances where personal information (e.g. Appointment dates and times) was being disclosed. Whether or not you consider aesthetics this to be real medicine, there should be doctor-patient confidentiality around all information. Based on my personal experience I would say that there are many places in town where you can get better treatment for a fraction of the cost.

Dr. Chetty is very knowledgeable and passionate in what he does. I’ve enjoyed all my visits for Botox and fillers making me look very natural and beautiful. I get so many compliments with people calling me beautiful without them even noticing I’ve had enhancements done to my face. My initial consult I booked I thought would be just for Botox injections but they took 3D imaging and showed me all the deficits in my face, where I was lacking volume, and then explained to me the treatments that could be done to those places and what they would do for me ultimately. I would also like to add that the receptionist Isabel is wonderful and so friendly, I really enjoy dealing with her when booking appointments. They have been super flexible when I have to change appointments around due to my work being sometimes unpredictable. Great experience all around!

I found Cerulean Medical when I was looking for hair removal for my teenager last year. I didn’t want to go to the local places who have been over-botoxing people for years, I wanted to find a medical facility that was exceptionally well run with a sincere interest in their patients. I made the right choice. Cerulean is an extremely clean, quite beautiful office, that provides client privacy and the best quality equipment and service. My nervous daughter was very comfortable with Isabel, who is a nurse specializing in skin care, and I came back to see Dr. Chetty for a consultation re my aging skin. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he is a dermatologist, trained in South Africa. Isabel was trained in Spain and they have chosen to make Kelowna their home. Dr. Chetty knows his stuff. I got an excellent second opinion from someone who clearly had my interests at heart, and I learned more about my medical conditions and how they affect my skin. This is a great team of medical professionals. Don’t hesitate to try them out.
