Stopped to watch some little league baseball players on the weekend. It was lovely and the grass is so green!

Nice, large park with room for sports, picnics, water park, etc.and it also has a bathroom. Shaded areas with old-growth trees and open areas with full sun give you lots of options for where to sit and be comfortable.

Water park area for kids, playground, couple of sports fields. No dog area though, which is kind of what I look for but good park nonetheless

This is another beautiful city park, nestled among old growth, consequently with lots of shade. The park is enormous and has a lovely, perfect size, spray park, swings, and a full playground. Our summer camp kids enjoyed all the amenities including the washroom, as well the open fields. We set up a badminton net beside the swings, so we have full supervision coverage while they were in the water and swings. Later on, we moved towards the playground which offers loads of fun experiences.
Thank you to the beautiful neighbourhood for keeping it in such great shape. We shall visit again next summer.

Lots of greens all around the park. Parking is easy along streets where it located. Water park facility is fun for everyone.

This spacious park has opportunities for a wide range of activities.currently there are two baseball diamonds with very interesting youth baseball games.there are large play areas for children with interesting swing sets…plenty of tables for picnics.then in the fall youth soccer games begin with energetic enthusiasm…then there is the delightful opportunity to cross Crown St and step into the Camosun Bog nature preserve…then there is the water park for fun and delight…

Great family park with lots of options for the kiddos including a waterpark and open lawn space.

We love this little park. You have for your child/children different activities from water playing/running to climbing, swinging and sliding. Even if it is boiling outside you can find nice shades around the park.

The spray water park for children was not working, the washrooms were pretty dirty. Whoever is in charge of this park is not doing his job. The park itself is ok buy what is a community park without it's services.

Baseball diamond, water park, playground, open fields, and shady areas to sit or picnic - this is a wonderful park to visit. Well-maintained. Green grass during the longest dry spell in Vancouver history. Popular on weekends. Quiet during the week, as to be expected.

Nice overall park, but the playground floor is covered with gravel instead something soft, kids can get hurt there.

My favorite neighborhood park. Playground and huge of field. There are many table and benches around water park and playground. We can eat some foods or have a small party as well. Washroom is fine. For me, I bring my Bluetooth speaker and mat. Great place for nap time.

A nice park. Relatively less crowded than many other parks in Vancouver west area. There are some picnic tables as well. A huge park with a water spray park, sports fields, and a play ground.
The play ground and a washroom are bit outdated, but a great park for families.

I like this park for its well maintained field, and the wide sidewalks that encircle the relatively large park. The park has a little water park (for kids; but closed right now), shaded tall tree area, baseball diamond, washrooms, play area, and of course, large field for any other activities.
The park is located in a quiet area on the west side of Vancouver (Dunbar and Kind Ed) area. It can be a great place for hosting family events, BBQs, etc. (pictures to come).

Chaldecott offers a combination of large playing fields and smaller play areas; large old cedar trees shelter the playground area and rustle moodily on breezy days. During the summer, the spraypark is a popular attraction for children of the neighbourhood.

Originally a part of the Municipality of Point Grey before the amalgamation of the city in 1929, this park is named for Francis Miller Chaldecott. Mr. Chaldecott was a lawyer who helped organize the District of South Vancouver where he owned 107 acres and he also owned a half interest in 240 acres in the Point Grey District. Francis Chaldecott died January 24,1949.

I often walk my dog here at night. Drug activity (transactions) occur regularly. During the day, it's a great place for kids, family and friends.

A massive park to do social distancing right! Bring a chair or blanket and connect with you friends in a calm relaxing setting right beside the forest. Perfect place for sun worshippers.

A busy place on the weekends and sunny days with many kids and sports activities but otherwise a great place for dog walkers.

Big park, about 6 square blocks. Mostly slopes down to the western side. West edge has beru poor cell service, non-existent in the case of Freedom. Playground, wading pool, playing fields, toilets. Good Pokemon Go facilities, including an EX-eligible gym

A lovely, local park that serves the larger community. Little league through the spring and summer, soccer in the fall and spring for neighborhood kids. A great playground area too, suitable for little ones alike! The community center is part of the same property, offering various arts & sports programs, plus the fitness center is well equipped for working out. Squash court is also available for use! Enjoy! Very nice neighborhood park with a community center and playing fields. Well-used park with good Pokemon Go features. PGA gym stops and spawns points more used now that many have been removed from the nearby cemetery. The park has a circular running track in which people like to walk around.

Great place for toddlers to 10 y.o. A timed water park, where a button has to be pressed for the water park to start. Kids love running to press the button.

Good park with 2 well kept baseball fields thanks to the Vancouver Community Baseball Association. The volunteer work has been exceptional my hats off to all that help.

Good water park in the summer fun hill to sleigh on when Vancouver does get snow.

The washrooms are a little run down. I will take a shot at the city of vancouver here as there are door knobs to enter these washrooms and Vancouver has banned door knobs only levers allowed.
