Had a chance to stop by for lunch earlier today; it's a nice cozy place for a quick meal with many street food-like options! Highly recommend the bulgogi hot pot, which it seems they've recently added.

Recently did a take out of ohsam bulgogi. Honestly, the best Korean food I've had in awhile. Very authentic and no taste of MSG. The owners were very kind and polite. Would definitely go back to try other menu!

I’m not Korean but I have been to many restaurants throughout my life and am a big fan of their cuisine. This place is good. Like real good. I had the KimChiJjiGae soup and I have to say I was blown away. It was absolutely delicious. I know it’s not on the high end of the Korean dining experience ($$$) but every cuisine has dishes for all economic levels and often the affordable places have some killer dishes at a good price.

I’m from Mexico and some of our best food is the affordable street tacos, so don’t judge a place by it’s aesthetics or prices.

I really suggest you come to this place and try the KimChiJjiGae. I can at least vouch for this dish as being absolutely delicious and I will be coming back again for more.

Food was okay and pricing was just as expected what bothered me the most was the poor customer service they gave us. I was craving for some sushi and teokkboki so i decided to buy to another store (sushi), it so happened that my friends wanted korean food as well so we decided to dine here and take my sushi there to dine. I ordered to their menu and so as my friends. I asked the service crew on how bug the bowl is as I have only a small appetite. And when we was about to serve my order, I was told rude for buying other stuff and dining in in their establishment.

Worst experience ever.

It doesnt stop there i lost my appetite and decided to close my sushi and just ate the item i ordered. When he came back to serve my friend's orders he said "too late for that, you can eat your food" which was uneccesary. I felt humiliated.

It's saddening that i got that treatment when it wasnt my intention to offend them. Especially that I ordered one of their menu. It just so happened that i was craving for something else that wasn't on their menu.

I also tipped them inspite of the bad experience i got because i know how hard it is to serve in their industry as I also work in the same industry. But still, being rude is a No No.

I love how small and cozy this restaurant is. The atmosphere is nice and the food is great as well. They have multiple combos, but since 육개장 (beef soup) & 김밥 (kimbap) were not part of one, I ordered them individually. I’ll definitely come back!

I came to this restaurant yesterday and tried their Rabbokki (spicy rice cake + ramen noodles) and grilled pork belly + squid! It was authentic Korean food! I heard that they even don’t put any MSG in any kinds of their food. And the server and owners were super kind, too! Generous portion with fair prices. So glad to find this hidden gem. Highly recommend!

I went to an academy nearby and went often on days when I wanted to eat Korean food or I didn't bring lunch. It was also my favorite Korean restaurant ;-) I was impressed that the owner remembered my favorite menu after going several times! Haha I've tried many menus, but if you want to eat a simple Korean lunch box, I recommend Bento Box! I think rabokki is better than tteokbokki >< I always ate kimchi ramen, but it really tasted like Korea ㅠㅠ And the buckwheat noodle soup was really delicious, etc. I don't think there was any menu that I ate that failed! I ate Korean food satisfactorily during my half year stay in Vancouver! I'll be sure to visit again next time I come on a trip.

My now favorite kimbap place! Price and portion is reasonable.food is good, lovely service.
