Champlain Heights Park

Compared with the Everett Park on its side, Champlain Park is not that big and is mainly composed of a baseball field and the community center. Though it is still a very cost and casual place to take a walk and relax.

Love this forested park. Nice to walk through with some newer areas opened up, with great views of the river and Richmond

Out of the way for a visitor. This area has serene parks and golf close by. You could spend a couple hours or a day with the family playing bocce and BBQ'ing.

Great place, I enjoy this place very peaceful and staff is nice, they will treats you friendly. I will go again, I love this place

I only use the community center for it's gym. It's awesome, tons of machines. Generally not overly busy either!

Small neighborly community center with a variety of programs to suite different age groups. Weight room, gym, studios, squash court etc.

The ground just off the trails is a bit soggy but its a good place to live if you keep your camp low key

Champlain Heights is a hidden gem in Vancouver. It's literally a suburb in the city. Our parks are pretty great too!

Older facility with dated equipment but the staff are helpful and a good area to take young kids for a walk

Soccer game scheduled between two U9 clubs. Irresponsible dog owners failed to clean up after their pets.

I went to the Village pub there, small and super friendly, it was a work event and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

There are 2 playgrounds, an elementary school, a community center with a rec room and a excersize gym (the gym requires membership). There is a large grass field and a forest with trails. Also a convenience store, pub and a place to get a haircut. Good place for kids and dogs.

Familiarity of the area is the key esp at night time. Extra caution when walking be visible for the motorist.

Grass is 6" long, found a huge glass bottle of whisky on the field as well, terrible pitch

Located at 3351 Maquinna Drive in the Champlain area of South East Vancouver. This is another wonderful park provided and maintained by the great people at the Vancouver Parks Board. The park while not huge is a great place to relax and have a leisurely walk with your dog. You will also see cute lttle black or grey squirrels running around foraging for food. NOTE: If you have a small dog please keep it leased and away from bushes as there are coyotes here especially early mornings and at dusk. There is also tennis courts nearby as well as the Champlain Community Centre across the street.

A good park, and community center! If it's sunny, and nothing to do? Go there! Connected by the 26 Bus.
