Chantana's Thai Food

We ordered take out. Containers were downsized and were only half full. Very disappointed. Food had very little meat. Not their usual great taste.

Ordered pad Thai over delivery and unfortunately, it’s just awful. Totally bland, super oily, a ton of egg. Making it this moist, slurpy mess with none of your typically flavors. Where is the tamarind sauce? Or just any kind of sauce? I could fry noodles up in oil at home, this isn’t why I eat out at Thai places.

If I had ordered in person I would’ve sent it back. Instead, I won’t be ordering from here again.

I ordered a pickup from restaurant and also received a delivery order from doordash. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff informed me that the DoorDash order was ready, but my own order would take an additional 10 minutes. I collected the DoorDash order and completed the delivery. After returning to the restaurant 10 minutes later as instructed, the server informed me that the order I had picked up earlier was actually mine and that I needed to exchange it. Despite my frustration, the server defended their actions by saying they were busy and didn't apologize. To make matters worse, they mistakenly gave my order to a DoorDash customer and even falsely claimed that I had taken the wrong order. I always double-check the name before picking up orders and distinctly remember the server telling me that the first order was the DoorDash delivery, while mine would take an extra 10 minutes. This incident has left me disappointed and shocked by the lack of customer service and professionalism in this industry.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner after reading reviews at this restaurant. We walked in and were treated very rudely by the young man and told that they do not do any seatings after 630 and that we would have to consider doing takeout or leave. It was literally 631 and there was an empty and available table. I told him that they should possibly update their website that they don’t do seating after a certain time as we were there well before close. We were so appalled by the way he spoke to us and rolled his eyes that we decided to just leave and will not be returning. Very unfortunate for the restaurant owners, as we are huge Thai fans & would have possibly become regulars. Time for new staff.

Very North American influenced Thai food. Food was hot when served, but flavour was unanimously a 6/10 from our table.

Chantana's is a friendly, unassuming Ma & Pa feel restaurant that was a pleasant surprise to discover. We had spring rolls, pad thai, a chicken stir-fry and massaman curry, along with a sharable order of rice, which were all delicious. Nice flavors and good size portions as well. Would go back when I'm in town.

Wonderful place, very reasonably priced.

It's not a fancy restaurant, it looks like they mostly work for take out. However, the food quality and service is excellent.and the prices are lower than we would expect. It's still very pleasant to dine in, the place is not busy and the staff is very friendly.
This Thai place is one of our favorite places. Highly recommended for sure.

You must stop here for food if you find yourself passing through Lake Country! Used to live there and visit this restaurant as a regular. Now I go whenever I visit. Chantanna makes the best Thai food and is the most friendly restaurant owner you could ever meet! Would give more than 5 stars if possible! My favourite dish is the Thai salad.

Having been to Thailand, this is the best Thai west of Bangkok. Great food, reasonable prices and good service.
