There is no customer service at this location. My regular mechanic was on vacation so I had to go to this shop. 0/10 score. Vehicle was not fixed, problem was made worse and nothing but excuses were provided, then asked what day I wanted to come back to fix the problems they didn't fix and the problems they created. Absolutely useless. Friend of mine brought her truck there last week too, same thing. More problems. For your sake and sanity do not trust them with your vehicle. If this was a food establishment they would be shut down. Absolutely useless.

Great place great people, everything is straightforward. It was a pleasure to do business with Bill.

I have always found them to be exceptionally helpful and though very busy, always friendly and trying to accommodate my needs. This is my go_to when I have a problem with my car

I have lived here all my life and have enjoyed their help since their inception.
Charlotte Island Tire is a business that has been serving on and off-island people for an awful lot of years and has done a very good job with it!
They have moved with the times, expanded their space and services.
Point is they are clearly a wonderful asset for any visitor. Vehicle repairs, used vehicle sales, vehicle rentals, tire sales and repairs, etc.
Quite helpful with a touch of good knowledge and, "God forbid", some island humour thrown in there most of the time!
Today, once again I arrived late in the day and they repaired 1 tire and exchanged another which put the tireman into working beyond his regular hours/ great sports!

I had a fuel pump changed here and they did the job quickly and acceptably, however they were not very helpful with facilitating a tow out of the logging road where it broke down. Their response was "we don't tow there, talk to TLC". In contrast, TLC - who also didn't have the equipment went the extra mile to find someone to help me. Even though they didn't make a cent off of it.
To be fair, Charlotte tire was quick once they got ahold of the truck but they do suffer from a lack of customer support from my experience.

Do not rent a vehicle from these people. Two hours after returning the vehicle we rented that we were absolutely careful with, I received a call accusing me of a scratch on an already scratched door. They sent a picture showing nothing and asking for a $100 and using a scare tactic of "it could be a $1000 to repair but we will settle for a $100". WITHOUT my authorization they charged me $100!? !? As if spending almost a $1000 on a 5 day rental wasn't enough these pretty thieves wanted another $100 knowing that I was on the ferry to the airport and could not return. I will return to the island but these thieves will get no business from me or anyone I know.

I found the service to be friendly. I also needed air put in my tires so the fellow put it in for me. The only downside is that they appear to be closed on Sundays but I guess you have to expect that in a small city.
