Kyla is the only hairstylist I will go to. I’ve been her loyal client for about 4 years now… she always listens to what I want and lets me know what can be done without damaging my hair. She takes her time and I always have a beautiful colour, cut and style when I leave. I won’t go anywhere else, she’s top notch, super friendly and very knowledgeable! Leslie really took her time to capture my vision and give me the look and style I wanted. Everyone was extremely welcoming as well as accommodating and that made my experience all that more enjoyable! Will definitely be coming back!

Kyla has been a hair guru for me for years and I’m so lucky to have her expertise on my head. With thick hair like mine it’s often hard to find anyone who can truly understand how to work with it. Kyla has the patience, the talent, as well as the kindness to match! She’s humble, hilarious and kind. But most of all she’s so patient with my every want and need for the perfect haircut! It’s hard to find a stylist that’s good with my kind of hair and I’m so happy. I used to live in Edmonton and I’d wait until visits home to get my cut because no one else could compare. You’re missing out if you haven’t had a “Kyla cut! ”

I absolutely loved my experience at Charm and Champagne! All of the amazing ladies were so friendly and inviting! The salon atmosphere is cozy and relaxing! Shanika did a phenomenal job cutting my hair! I’ll definitely be coming back!

They did a good job of lifting my hair from a demi permanent black. Can't complain there. The coffee was also good. But when it came to coloring, they didn't seem interested in me getting the results I wanted. The styling of my curly hair was poorly done as well, they tried to finger coil with hardly any product and did not have good technique with the diffuser. They were confident that I could get my desired colour in one day. I booked right before my trip out of town because I wanted to have the new colour for that. The colour didn't take after the bleaching and the poor styling of my hair made it look even worse, not only did I leave with orange hair (not violet red) they did not try to squeeze me in before the trip I already mentioned and made me pay full price. Clearly they knew I was leaving looking a mess because the owner felt the need to explain about it to her client as I was paying.

My next appointment was a full 10 days later by then they had clearly forgotten my desired color and slapped on the darkest purple pigment on my hair. It did even out the colour from the semi permanent dye which I had to slap on before my trip, an additional inconvenience and expense to me. They were more interested in how oddly the semi-permanent colour faded than the fact that I had to make efforts to fix my own hair after leaving their salon. Chris' tone and expressions bordered on condescending. I left the second appointment with a dark purple that looked blue toned. The colour also faded after a week, so much for professional colouring, I could have used Manic Panic considering that lasting power.

After leaving twice with completely different colours that are not at all what I wanted, all Chris had to say was "thank you for your patience. " Maybe if I was a little less patient I could expect some compensation or at least acknowledgement of the fact that I did not get the service I requested.

Excellent service, lovely studio, and well-priced. Love the Aveda products they use. It's always a pleasure to have my hair cut and styled here.

I had a great first time experience at this salon. The inside of the salon is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I felt warm and welcomed, by my stylist. She spent her time on my hair and her scalp massage almost put me to sleep. She recommended some products that would help my hair growth journey which was very helpful.

I’ve been coming to see Chris for my haircuts for a couple of years now and it’s always a top-notch experience. The salon itself is beautiful, all of the stylists are friendly and kind, and the service is consistently high quality without being pretentious. Chris always gives helpful suggestions but isn’t pushy and I always leave with my hair looking exactly how I imagined. Can’t recommend enough!

This is a lovely salon! It was my first time and I was really impressed - lots of little bonuses like coffee with baileys and cookies while you wait! My stylist Hailey was excellent and listened to what I wanted while still guiding/making suggestions based on her expertise. I dont get my hair colored at salons very often and this was special treat I was looking for!
