Charmanie nails and spa

This was my favorite nail salon experience of my life. I absolutely loved the people there enjoy doing my nails so much that I ended up having to nail techs, helping me one on each hand while we happily chatted away. And they were so Stoke with how long I was getting my nails. And this is the first time I've gotten my nails done and not have any of them be put on crooked. I usually have to go home and reshape them myself. Absolutely flawless. This place is 11 out of 10. Huge recommend. It was Jeanette that helped me.

In town for the thanksgiving weekend and made an impromptu decision to get a set of nails. We were walk-ins and they fit us in right away. My mom opted for a pedicure, I got a set of acrylic nails. Very nice staff, good work. Had a problem with the polish not staying on one nail. Popped in the next day and they fixed it right up.

Being transgender and finding someone in penticton to get my nails done isn't the easiest or most comfortable experience at times but here I felt comfortable and very happy with how my fill on nails turned out

Hands down best mani pedi in penticton. I dont do gels/laquer just classic. The polish is fresh and lasts longer than others in town. The hot stones, massage and hot towel are perfect.

Won’t be going back, went for a mani pedi and decided to ditch the pedicure when I saw the cleanliness of the salon. All manicure tables were not sanitized and had nail clippings from previous appointments. The lady who did my manicure wasn’t very friendly and didn’t really do much to prep my nails. She never asked how long I wanted my nails before chopping them right down - the shortest I’ve ever had my nails. The paint job was done well but she seemed to be in a very bad mood and was handling my fingers/hands quite rough and aggressively. Uncomfortable experience to say the least.

I got a pedicure here and some lady came in without an appointment to fix her nail that broke.the artist i had stepped away for a moment while my toes were drying and the other lady told me i was done.the other 2 ladies i was with werent done for another 25 minutes although we started at around the same time.as i left my nail polish was already ruined because they were rushing to help someone else.

Staff is welcoming and friendly. They will always try to fit you in. It’s a small space in an older building but seems to be well kept and clean. Plenty of colours to choose from.

They really deserve 6 stars. I have been to EVERY nail salon in town and this is by far the best one I have ever been too! I have also had a different nail tech every time I've gone in and the quality is amazing no matter who does them. They are all really talented especially with the designs they are capable of doing and are complete perfectionists. I am very hard on my nails and even after 4 weeks I have not had a single chip or broken nail. I have never been dissapointed by them.

The lady who did my nails even gave me a hand massage and it felt so good. She was always gentle and did a great job!

My go to for pedicure! Tried many different places for pedicure. By far the best places in Penticton.

Love the service and love the nails everytime but we called if they were open on labour day, they answered the phone and we made an appt for 2pm.when we got there they were closed!

Went in for a fill and pedicure because they were the only place to accommodate last minute and they had great reviews. However, I would not recommend this place it was not sanitary and even after 3 hours my nails were still not done.

I have mixed feelings, some days that I've went I've had excellent service but it just feels so uncomfortable to sit there & not have anyone talk to you. The quality is hit and miss, plus they upcharge everything.

Filed my foot so bad it burned my foot, had crooked cut nails and glue all over my hands. Let my elder mother sit there for 20 mins because I tipped the ladies 2 dollars for my poor foot. Sorry but u pay for what u get i guess. Hands down worst ever nail shop I've ever been to.

I was not impressed with the guy manager, he rushed my service because they were busy, don’t I had a nice mail tech doing my nails I was enjoying my relaxing service, then he took over out of the blue, and my nails didn’t last long now, not impressed

I had an acrylic fill done today and all I can say is wow:) My nails look amazing, can honestly say they have been the best set I’ve had in a very long time. The salon is clean and tidy. The tools are clean, such a nice selection of Nail Colours. 10/10 will be coming here for nails from now on.

I just had my nails done at Charmaine's using the French style which I had never done before. These are my own nails - what a wonderful job! Notice the extra glitter line done at the base of the white to add that special detail. Love them!

I went here with my mom and cannot say enough good about the kind staff! Thank you May for being so amazing and doing such an amazing job for my mom and me. We will be back!

May is one of the best nail technicians in the Okanagan, along with her artistry. And her lovely personality is a nice accessory. The rest of the staff do just as fine work and complete this quaint little nail salon. See you soon, it's about that time. Highly recommended by Tammy!

Got manicure shellac - fell off next day. Came back next day told me no problem come back we will take care of you - came back and they said they did not know who I was and can’t redo my nails - insulted me and accused me of lying - been there over 10 times this Summer - NEVER AGAIN

I got a discount card. So I decided to give them a try. Over priced and did not spend time scrubbing my feet properly. And this silack nail polish is dumb my friend polish is chipping already. She didn't not get any hot stones or warm towel like I did. Other people came and they did hers half way.

I want to give May a shout out for her awesome job on my nails and accommodating my last minute booking while I was out on vacation in Penticton. I showed her a reference and she spent extra time on the tedious details.
If you need a good nail technician I 100% recommend May she's a sweetheart. Thanks again May!

Wonderful job but I felt like they rushed me. It was my first pedicure unfortunately they put me in a regular chairing the corner to dry my toe nails while all the other ladies got to sit in the massage chairs while they dried. One chair was even open the entire time.they didn't have to move me out of mine.

Workers were friendly and nice they did a really good job, good price. I will be going again. Love this place!

The pedicure was good but the chairs are just like rock. So uncomfortable. Also, check the prices. $60 for a pedicure seems a bit steep to me.

Showed them a reference photo, and was thinking the lady would get it right but she COMPLETELY messed it up, i mean it was tilted, weirdly shaped, not the length i said i wanted, and the pattern was done sloppily.i paid 70$ for nails i just got removed right after.i had really high expectations after my friends said it was good there but the lady who did my acrylics was really rough and pushy.again, it could have just been one bad experience but i don’t think i’ll ever come back

May did an excellent job on my nails. They haven't looked this nice in a long time. I was having a really hard day and she was so kind to me. Thank you May.

Very friendly. They Gave a massage with pedicure and manicure on hands and feet. The massage chair was amazing. They did 3-4 coats of polish and made sure we were happy with the way it looked. Super nice people. When I come back to b.c. I will go again.

This was my first time at Charmainie's for a manicure/pedicure, both were wonderful. I had the fellow do my pedicure and it was wonderful loved the hot rock treatment. May did my nails and she was also wonderful. She asked if I would like a design on my nails and told me normally they charge $5 but she would give it free this time. I took her up on the offer. This will be my new go nail salon. All very friendly staff! Thank you May and the fellow who works there!

My future daughter-in-law and I had our nails done yesterday, they did a beautiful and thorough manicure and pedicure with great attention to detail. The technicians were friendly and helpful, I will definitely be using this nail salon services again!

When he was filing down the top of my natural nail he almost burned a whole in it, I pulled my had away it was so painful. He also caught my skin. The nails go straight out and when I asked to have them rounded down so that they have a more natural curve, he passed over them each once and didn’t make any difference. They nail polish is splotchy.

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure at this salon. What a terrible first and last experience. I walked into the so called salon with nobody in there except a man who could barely speak a word of english. He never greeted me, he just told me to sit and handed me nail colors. Not a welcoming experience at all. There was no spa music, no tv, no conversation.nothing! The foot massage was pathetic and the parafin wax I dont think he had a clue what he was doing when trying to put my foot in the bag. I literally asked him to remove the wax bags from my feet and just told him I wanted to leave. Absolute WORST salon experience I have EVER had.

May did a fantastic job on my nails. After putting the colour I had chosen on my first finger and she told me she had an interesting idea for an accent nail and she did some amazing work.

The place here is clean & small, they have nice staff. However the only down fall is.they could use more colors.

Sick a great experience and great quality and price is just right. They are very friendly and attentive. Just say what you need and want. They are happy to oblige. I will be coming here again for sure.
