Chartwell Churchill House Retirement Residence

My band, Blue Lasso, have had the opportunity to perform our music for the residents of Churchill House on a few occasions. I was always impressed by the helpfulness and positive energy of the staff. The residents all seemed very well cared for, cheerful and enjoying the caring atmosphere of the home. We always enjoy performing at Churchill House and hope to do so again.

My father has been living at Chartwell Churchill House for about 9 months now. While he was a bit apprehensive about the move at first, he is now fully settled in and enjoying life. He has even taken a lesson in how to play pool.
I cannot say enough about the staff - from the servers in the dining room to the care aids, front desk and maintenance crew - all are professional, warm and friendly.
The meals are first rate, lots of variety, delicious recipes -and is a very social time of day for him. He enjoys the flexibility of not having an assigned table or an assigned time. He can go the dining room for lunch or dinner at any point of the meal service or order and pick up his dinner to enjoy while watching a game in his room.
When we join him for a meal - staff make it special, with a reserved and beautifully set table.
It was a bonus to be able to reserve and rent a portable air conditioner for the summer as his room faces South. The maintenance team set it up and help him keep it running.

I am a singer who goes by the name Bobby Bacchus. I have had the privilege of performing at Chartwell Churchill House in North Vancouver for close to three years. The staff is very attentive to the residents needs. The residents themselves are delightful and very much appreciate the entertainment that is provided for them. Imran, the Lifestyles Manager, is professional and very well organized. Mix all this in with a beautiful setting and ambience, and you have a winner! Can't wait for my next show.

We have a relative, our mother, who has been a resident at Churchill House for the past year. We have been very impressed with the care she receives from the staff and quality of the accommodation. Meals are excellent, with a very good choice of items. All the staff are caring, helpful and friendly especially Sharon Hill and Rhona. The General Manager Zay Rahimbux is very accessible if we have any questions. All in all we are very pleased with Chartwell Churchill Retirement Residences.

My mum has lived in chartwell since November and has settled in nicely the dining room staff are so nice and helpful Zay was very helpful in getting her a brand new toilet which is much more comfortable for her I feel she is well cared for here

We unexpectedly needed assisted living for Dad and we needed it in a hurry. Churchill admissions staff were great helping us every step of the way and since moving in Dad, and we, have been very impressed with the staff, the facility, the care and the food.

My mother recently moved into Churchill House and I had the opportunity to spend time with her at the residence over several weeks. I was quite impressed with the welcome and friendliness of staff and residents from her first day there. Staff addressed her by name, were helpful with information and services, and attentive to her needs. When my mother accidentally pushed her health alert, staff were there within minutes. We were both delighted by the quality & freshness of the meals and friendliness of the serving staff. The car service allows her to get to important medical and social events with ease. I feel confident that both my mother's health and emotional well-being will improve substantially living at Churchill House.

Amazing staff and a friendly group of residents. Building is beautiful and very well kept. Lots of daily activities and outings. Great location as well, with coffee shops and other stores steps away.

I have worked with Chartwell Churchill House over the last few years. I have been impressed with how friendly and helpful their staff members are, as well as knowledgeable. I highly recommend this residence for their attention to detail and professionalism.

Can not express how great the staff from the front desk, to the house keepers, LPN/RCA and all of management. They truly only care for the well being of the residents and staff. Residents are super friendly and appreciative about everything (from helping them out to all the different activity/games we play here). It is just so heartwarming seeing the smile on some of the residents, really truly heartwarming. Would highly recommend everyone to consider the Churchill House as there new home.

Excellent place! I started here as an HCAP student as of June 6,2022. All the staff are very helpful and accommodating to my concern and questions. The residents are so nice! It is an amazing experience! I would recommend Churchill House to everyone who are looking for assisted living and yet remain independent.

My current experience in Churchill House as an HCAP student is remarkably wonderful. All of the staff are very nice, helpful and supportive. They are also providing all the information that I need to know and learn. Residents are friendly and appreciative.

I was honoured to be invited to share some music with your residents last week. You have a lovely venue and friendly, helpful staff. What with some good songs, my banjo and my guitar, I believe we all had a fine time. There were smiles, toes tapping and folks singing along. I hope to visit again soon.

Kudos and thumbs up to the management and staff of Churchill House! They have always been excellent, but the management and staff have pulled together to make this covid time safe and healthy for us. We haven’t had an outbreak.

Staff is kind, patient and understanding. They go above and beyond to make special occasions shine, despite having to work around the current restrictions. In my opinion, Churchill House is the benchmark for all retirement residences to meet. Thanks everyone!

We moved my elderly father into Chartwell Churchill House a few months ago and I have been completely blown away by the kindness and support from both the incredible staff and the residents! I couldn't be happier and more grateful for the opportunity for our family to become part of this wonderful community.

Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming! All of the staff are amazing - kind, patient, friendly, caring and supportive. I want to name each one individually but afraid I will leave someone out. If you are looking for a retirement home for a loved one, I highly recommend Chartwell Churchill House.

There are many great photos on the website and I have uploaded a few from my Dad's suite to show how we have been able to re-create his home there. He has settled in beautifully, enjoys the wonderful meals, has made new friends and is safe and happy.

He recently celebrated his 90th birthday, and the staff arranged a wonderful celebration to honour him. Thanks again to everyone at Churchill House!

I've lived here at Churchill House for just over 4 years now. I really love it here. My friend's call it my 5* hotel, and I agree totally. I Iove the managers and the staff it's like one big happy family family here. The food here is as very good. There has been 2 or 3 meals in 4 years that have not been up to par, so I think that is great.

Churchill House has changed my life for the better, I don't know where or how I would be living if I were not here in Churchill House, it has literally saved my life.

A beautiful facility with friendly and helpful staff! I have visited Churchill House on several occasions and was always greeted with a smile and taken care of. They have lots of space and windows, which gives the facility an 'open' feel. I really like the little patio outside as well!

My mom lives at Churchill House. She is 91 years old and has been there for 6 years now. She absolutely loves it. The staff are wonderful, kind, and very helpful. She also very much enjoys the activities, especially the shopping trips.
