Chartwell Lynnwood Retirement Residence

My mother moved into Lynnwood in Aug 2023. One thing I've learned over the years is it takes time for change. The staff at Lynnwood recognizes this and has been very good in helping with this change. They have been accommodating and sincere in helping mom adapt to her new life style.
The building is clean and presentable with various activities ongoing. Dinners have been well presented and tasty also.
Thank you to the staff and management for helping my mother settle in to her new home.

As the grandson of a resident at Lynwood, I cannot express enough gratitude towards John, the Maintenance Manager, for his incredible service and dedication. Recently, my grandmother encountered an issue with her apartment's heating system. Understanding the urgency, especially given her age and health concerns, John went above and beyond to fix the issue asap.
Not only did he fixed it so quickly, but he also checked in regularly on my grandmother's comfort and safety regularly. His warm and caring approach made her feel valued and taken care of, which is something that we, as her family, deeply appreciate. We are so grateful for John's assistance, and are sure that with his help, my grandmother will be safe, welcomed, and happy in Lynwood.

Attended Lynnwoods open house today, pleasantly surprised that the general manager personally toured us. More than what we heard it was what we saw during our tour, it seemed staff were happy, residents were happy and the staff interacting with residents was amazing! Obviously these folks enjoy their jobs, Carol and Bill will be Lynwood bound before the year is out.special thank you to Joleen our personal tour guide.

Today it is one month since I officially moved into my lovely, clean suite. I feel very thankful to be here. I miss my loving husband (who passed away recently), very much but I feel that this is the right place for me to be in my stage of life now.

Every staff member is kind and accommodating. The meals are delicious! I appreciate the services and entertainment, like the laundry room. Church services.etc that are provided.

Lynnwood provides us with a place to feel loved and appreciated.

Have had the opportunity to visit Lynnwood on several occasions, very clean well run seniors residence, when I’m ready to take the next step it’ll be to Chartwell Lynnwood.

I have been living at the Lynnwood for over 2 years and I have enjoyed the social activities, bus outings, musical events, and the lovely ladies and gentleman that I socialize with every morning and afternoon in the Bistro.
The staff here are wonderful and have been so helpful. They are very attentive and kind and know all the residents by name.
There is a wide variety with your meals and it is like eating in a restaurant.
I feel well cared for and it feels like home.

Have recently moved a loved one into Lynnwood and the experience was very positive for us. Working with Heather Spenst has been incredible and she is always going above and beyond. We were also very grateful to see how friendly all the rest of the staff have been as it makes the transition a whole lot easier. Food has been excellent (I joined for a meal or two) with very generous portions and lots of choices. Availability of activities, etc was also a big draw and we are both impressed with the accommodations themselves. Each floor also has its own 2 lounges where you can find books, jigsaw puzzles, etc.which is a very nice touch. Though it took awhile to make the leap, we are very glad we chose Lynnwood.

Excellant staffing, responsive management, clean and welcoming environment. Would recommend highly to anyone looking for smooth operating independent living for loved ones and peace of mind in the decision.

The best staff ever! Thank you especially to the maintenance man, who came to fix my tv, which he did, I then mentioned computer problems- he got my computer back up and running too! It’s nice to live here and have staff who enjoy helping me. I appreciate this so much. Luise K.

A few clients in Lynnwood have let us know that they really enjoy their nice rooms and the friendly community around them.

I have had the opportunity to assist several clients in their moves to Lynwood. I am always struck by how many of their residents are up and around socializing in thee many spacious areas designed for just that purpose. The suites are designed nicely and are quite roomy. The staff are all super friendly. The location is ideal for walking or scooting with all the amenities one needs within a two block radius including the hospital, restaurants, groceries, Starbucks, swimming pool, theatre pharmacies and doctors offices. I have never heard a complaint about the food or the accommodations.

As a vendor for many years, we've had nothing but great experiences with all the staff at the Chartwell Lynnwood Retirement Residence.
