Went today to get a blo dry as I had family pictures. Lady was super nice, wash was great but the blow dry was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I wanted hair with volume (my hair is thick so its easy to get) with bangs curving in…. My hair literally looked flat as soon as I left.
I came back 10 m later cause I just paid $75 for this wash and blow dry again lady was nice added some curls however this style did not look like I just spent $75 at a salon it looked like something I did at home quickly. I came home & had to correct it for photos but man I def do not recommend coming here for a style especially if yore paying close to $80.2 star because the lady herself was super sweet but dnt think she had experience with thicker hair (maybe?) or new.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Banjo at Chatters, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Banjo's expertise truly shone through as he flawlessly executed the color and cut, leaving my hair looking absolutely stunning.

I wish I could give 0. Don't even deserve a Star. Pathetic customer service, i got keratin done couple of months ago and this was the result. I called them and send pictures. They refused to give. Guarantee. They said they don't guarantee any good resUlt, and blamed me, that i might have a medical condition like thyroid and etc.that's why there is no result. I had a baby 8 months ago and they told me it's because of your hormonal changes. That's why keratin didn't work on me. Then after a long argument they decided to give me another keratin treatment after 2 months. Which i had today. And the stylist and staff was super rude. While doing the process they were super rude. As if I didn't pay or it's never their responsibility to satisfy customer needs. Log story short. Not recommended!

If you want your hair over processed and come out with 1/2 a haircut and a color you never asked for 4 1/2 hrs later. Then go ahead and book with Kiko as he does what he thinks very poorly and not what you asked. I am now having to have color correction done at another salon. The Manger from chatters has stated we didn't charge you so it is ok. So take the chance. It may be free but who wants their hair to be a disaster. I sure didn't. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Kiko is Amazing he has colored my hair and has done some very bright colors for my Son. Amazing work

Every time I come here I get sub par service. No matter who the stylist is. Hair is never washed completely. The back neck is left. Hair is still damp. And the style is never what I asked for.

I was looking for a reasonable hair dresser that cuts curly hair and Sandy was lovely, took her time and was able to cut with all my asks! Plus she straightened my hair which I loved for a bonus!

I love coming in to see keiko Ray, he so nice and friendly and does a amazing job with your hair! Highly recommend! Would give 10 stars if I could.

Felt really nervous about going to a new stylist after being with the same one for 15+ years. Worked with Amy and she was so fantastic! Very attentive to any of my hair concerns. Will continue going to her for haircuts and blowouts going forward.:)

My daughter and I went in for a haircut. We had Val do our hair. She was great. Took her time and did a awesome job. Would definitely go back to see her

Trust me, these folks know what they're doing. I wrecked my color so bad, it was black and grey. Ugh. It took 4 hours and 2 lightenings but I got my soft chocolate brown color back with added high and lowlights. A few snips here and there and it's now a nice shape. I feel pretty.
They put all my processes and products into their computer. Now I can go to the Chatters here on Van. Island as my stylist on the Mainland has now gone off on mat leave for a year. She will be missed.

The receptionist was very rude called 4 times she put me on hold for 6 - 8 minutes didn't bother coming back to say we are really busy do you want to continue holding or to ask if I want to try calling back 2 days in a row.

I visited Chatters today, in south Surrey regarding my hair. Kiko the hairdresser, was awesome. He took great care of my hair. Gave me a new confident look. Kiko even decided to blend the colour he decided to do on my hair with my spoilt hair (which he’s going to fix it) in my next visit. Trust me, if anyone is looking for a new confident look, check out with Kiko. He’s too good. Kiko is so skillful and experienced and amazing talented hair stylist. I’m looking forward for my next visit to chatters appointment with Kiko. Thank you Kiko. You Rock:)

Kiko is the most professional hair stylist I have ever met. I’m always certain that he always give me the color and style that I will absolutely love when he is finished.

Kiko recommended Barbie steampod and it is worth the price. It heats to the perfect heat and gentle on your hair. The conditioner he asked me to try the Redken extreme conditioner. It makes my hair soft, silky and smooth! It does a great job.

I had Caylie K today for a haircut and she was wonderful. She did a great job with the cut and kept me entertained throughout the appointment.
I showed her a video of the specific cut I wanted and she re-created it while adapting it to my particular needs!

I had the opportunity to phone them, while waiting I was reading one particular LONG comment.the character of the comment was clearly of a frustrated person.and the length was so unnecessary.the person I spoke to, just for a general inquiry, was super polite, patient and helpful.

Alison never listened that a wanted layers, she washed my hair and never dried it properly, water dripping down my cape. When it was all over. Nothing was done. Iooked at the floor, barely any hair was removed. I left there with the same cut as I came in with! Going somewhere else

First time visit to Chatters. My stylist, Tyler, was fantastic at keeping me relaxed and entertained with conversation. Lovely young man. If you want conversation and beautiful hair, Tyler V is the stylist to see.

The salon is close to my place, wanted to give a try but somehow my hair session it only lasted less than 30 mins (including shampooing, treatment and drying my hair). I went in the store the cashier were very friendly, I asked for a hair treatment since my hair is really damaged. Not to mention when shampoo my hair it only takes FEW second.not even 10 seconds, don’t know if that seems right. And with the whole treatment it was worth $27 on top of shampoo.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
It’s my first time in the salon don’t know if is the usual time of session or there is some misunderstanding of what I was looking for.
Feeling disappointed.

Didn’t ask my style properly, the barber talked too much and just cut my back hair without asking. Extremely bad survice

Abbey is such a great hairstylist and would recommend to anyone! She’s great with blondes and cuts and is so sweet. Their manager Harsh however cancelled my appointment and was very short and rude over the phone about the redo appt.asking me immediately “how many redos I’ve gotten before” (zero). Never felt like an interrogation when calling a customer service rep before. He never said any “sorry for the inconvenience”, but said “we can only book you with a newer stylist than abbey in the next 3 days” which does not sound like a great way to fix my hair with someone much less experienced. Anyways, Abbey is one of the best stylists in that place for sure, and the receptionist Kiana is amazing at her job. Maybe keep Harsh away from the phones to avoid driving more business away!

Sandy did a great job on my hair, as always. I always have really great conversations with her and she does an awesome job on my hair. I can ask her to just cut it without a reference and she does a great job. Friendly staff and lovely stylists!

Kelly did an amazing job on my hair it was perfectly even with not a strand out of place or too long. I was indecisive and she steered me in the perfect direction I hadn’t even considered! Highly recommend asking for this amazing hairstylist

Just went in to get some hair gel that I couldn't find at my usual place. Found what I needed right away. Cashier was friendly.

Great cut though slightly different from picture shown. Hairdresser was kind and friendly. For what I paid I could have got the cut for half the price elsewhere. All in all nice experience.

I am beyond happy with my experience at Chatters. I saw Fritz today and went in expecting to only have time to do half a head of highlights but Fritz stayed late for me and did a whole head, toner, cut and blow dry. I have never been so happy with my hair he is an absolute hair angel I will definitely be coming back and sending everyone I know to see him!

My first visit to this salon. I saw Sandy today and let me tell you. She is so awesome! What a gem of a gal. She did a thorough consult and was great with questions and any concerns I had. The cut is awesome for my short hair. She helped me with product recommedation and also welcomed me to the salon. I also spoke to 3 other ladies who worked there from when I walked in, to one while I was in waiting area that I chatted up, to the cashier at the end, and each of them was kind, positive and very genuine. No pressure sales. I certainly appreciate a place I can come to and feel comfortable in while also having such wonderful customer service. Great job ladies!
