Chatters Hair Salon

Yesterday, on October 22nd around 4: 30 pm, I took my 2-year-old son to a salon for a haircut. At the reception, I inquired if they could cut a 2-year-old's hair, and they assured me they could. However, I was disappointed to find that they lacked appropriate equipment for children, such as a kid's chair, cape, or entertainment. During the haircut, my son's hair ended up inside his clothes, mouth, and all over his face, causing him distress and more crying. The haircut itself was quite uneven, with cuts and bald patches. The hairdresser's unprofessional behavior was evident, as they repeatedly rushed through the process, claiming they had another client waiting. I am seeking an apology and a refund for this unpleasant experience. (for privacy reasons pictures are emailed to salon)

Over priced, stylists are nice but can get more for your money elsewhere u walk in willing to pay x and notify them they charge way more then expected

Madison was a lovely girl and did an amazing cut on my hair. Definitely will be back. Price was very reasonable as well.

Horrible experience with Li. I asked to keep my length and fullness and just give long layers since I love my long hair - ends up chopping soooooooooo much hair off that it’s been another extra year to outgrow those layers.

Reception people are so rude and zero customer service skills. It was not my first time there. Ended up returning without getting haircut.

I give 5 stars to chatters they are great I wanted curtain bangs and dead ends cut and layers in my hair and when I booked my appointment I did anybody so my hairdresser was Sahib he is so talented and is very outstanding he asked me what I wanted done today and I showed Sahib a picture off the internet he had a glimpse of it once and literally took 3 seconds to see the picture and start cutting my hair he’s got amazing personality. He amazed me today when my haircut was all done I could not believe how good my hair looked I never had a perfect haircut ever before 5 stars to sahib he’s amazing in what he does and is a very talented guy. Good I met sahib today and got very lucky to have him and get the best haircut thanks

Harpreet did my hair. She was amazing. Promptly understood what I needed and gave me a beautiful haircut.

I had a haircut medium + folie medium, and the first time after 5 hours, it became one color and orange! I missed my doctor appointment because the considered time was less, but mine took much longer than it.
The day after, I booked an appointment for a color setup, and on Sunday holiday, I got all correctly done, nice, not a wow, but a high light and nice color without orange. I was charged $47 for using olaplax! So, the total was $311+$47 and 5+3.5=8.5 hours!
So, I had chosen my hairstylist based on reviews on Google. So, if you trust only reviews and choose a wrong hairstylist, then you'll waste time, money and bad feelings, and stress!
But, if you choose the hairstylist who knows her job correctly, then going to chatters is good.
I don't write the name of the hairstylist here, because I think she's in big need of money to handle her life cost.

Harpreet was amazing! She comforted me as I was already so scared to get a shorter cut. She did a great job on my cut too! I 100% recommend her and will be coming back to her too!:)

Got the worst haircut ever! Took off so much length and the top layer is crazy short, uneven and choppy. They tried to fix it but still looks horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spent $80 for them to ruin my hair. And no they do not do refunds!

Hairdresser asked what I wanted, I informed her that I wanted to keep my mullet and just tame it back a bit, she then proceeded to basically give me a buzz cut instead. Will not be returning for any further services there

It’s been years since I’ve had a haircut I actually liked. I was scheduled in with Li, an amazing lady who did an awesome job cutting my hair. I was so happy with the cut- she blended my curtain bangs perfectly and gave me the exact layers I wanted! She had me in and out in under 45 minutes too

I went in for a haircut and I loved every second of it! I highly recommend my hairstylist for today Soraya to everyone. I loved her so much and she was so kind to me. Her hands are like magic and I just know I’m gonna go to her everytime I get a haircut.

Soraya is amazing! The best highlights I have ever had. She was so kind and listened to exactly what I wanted. It turned out even better than I imagined. I would recommend anyone to get their hair done by her!

Welcoming front end staff and an exceptional experience with Li. I love how she cut and styled my hair. She brought so much life back to it! 100% will recommend Li at Chatters Seven Oaks Abbotsford, BC.

Went into this location a few months ago for a haircut, I’ve always had good experiences with chatters I usually go to the other location but have been here a few times and always been satisfied, I have thick hair so I always add layers into my hair I went in and the stylist I was booked with was very friendly she asked was I was wanting and I told her I wanted my hair a bit shorter and added layers (showed a picture for reference as I always do) my hair was just past chest length (I had my hair up in a bun because I know they always wash my hair first) the stylist started by saying she was going to cut my hair dry and wash it after and finish off the cut, I thought this was strange but figured she knows what she’s doing and that’s the way she does things, she cut my hair a bit asked if I liked it (my hair was messy from being up in the bun I really couldn’t say) then she washed it and my hair was SO SHORT my chest length hair was now at my collar bone, she continued to “finish my cut” so then told me I didn’t have enough hair to do the haircut I wanted and told me I didn’t want layers because it would make my hair look even bigger… she also asked if I wanted a conditioning treatment during the wash I usually say yes since I don’t go often I’ve had these many times before and they are always nice, my “treatment” consisted of her putting product in my hair (not even physically touching my hair just sprayed it on and walked away) came back put some more stuff in quickly quite literally slapping it on my hair and walking away again she came back washed it out and while washing it out she told me she would do a blow out because styling my hair would cost extra (I’ve never left a haircut without them styling at the end it’s always been included in the cut) at the end of the haircut she blow dried my hair and it was frizzy, uneven and not at all what I wanted but I’m not usually one too complain much and she was very nice but I hated my hair I immediately went and purchased a toque to cover my head since I still had things to do I ended up still being upset about my hair days later so I sent an email to the main office, the offered me a “complimentary blowout” for my experience, after having the worst haircut of my life and spending over 80$ I didn’t feel a blowout was an adequate response. It’s been a few months and I’m still upset and bothered with my experience here and I will not ever be returning

Came in to see Ashley H and loved my whole appt! She was so sweet and really cared about what i wanted, she was very attentive and made my hair feel so fresh and soft! The head massage she gave at the hair wash was also the best, will 100% be back to see her:)

The lady who cut my hair was very nice but she gave me a crazy huge blowout and when I went home to straighten my hair I realized she completely messed up the haircut. My layers and curtain bangs were so uneven and not blended that I ended up having to go to a different salon to get it fixed and now my hair is way shorter than I had intended. I asked for shoulder length hair and she mangled my hair so bad the other salon had to cut it to my chin. The stylist I had at chatters was nice but I won’t be returning as she completely messed the cut up.

I do not know the name of the lady who cut my hair. They never told me, I never asked.

I went in excited to get my hair cut - haven't went in to chatters for a proper wash and snip for over a year. I showed my hairdresser the style I wanted from a previous cut I had done at this same location, which was an inverted bob, short at the back, longer at the front. I showed her the exact length I wanted my front to be on my neck before she even started cutting,

She then walks off and returns to show me a bob cut. There was miscommunication from what I understand because she proceeded to cut my hair to the image she had shown, to my cheek, dismissing my reference images and request of length. I left quite upset, still payed for the full cut, ended up with an anxiety breakdown, and had to pay another person to fix it because I trusted her to follow my requests, only for her to do a shorter cut. I have never had such an experience like this last visit from them before. I will not be returning to Chatters from this day on.

Was Absolutely depressed. She cut a whole 8+ inches around off my head. I had hair just passed my shoulders.

My mom went in for me to get a refund while I was at work, and the lady at the front desk just gave her attitude the whole time.
